  • renee is amazing for her age

  • Better than Justin Beiber any day!!!

  • The black kid with the keytar is the What-What in tha Butt guy.

  • Hey thanks Joelster74 for that info about Renee singing with Robyn Cradles. It's nice to see Renee singing!

  • I loved every song she sang!

  • I tink this show is single handedly responsible for making the key-tar popular...

  • Who better to sing this song than children

  • does anyone know where i can get the dance mix of this song wich is played in abercrombie and fitch????

  • This is one of my favorites from Renee Sandstrom. I know she does commercial jingles and voices for characters in movies, but....has she cut a solo album yet? I know she used to sing with Wild Orchid, but what about her solo career? Has anyone heard anything?

  • As far as I know, she doesn't. She's on the Camp Rock CD, but apart from that ... I wish she'd put an album out!

  • @princesirenita Renee didn't persue a solo career. She got married and has a daughter now.

  • @princesirenita Look on You Tube for Robyn Cradles - "Pillow Case". It is the most resent that I know of. She is only singing back up but it is still a treat for Renee fans.

  • I had a thing for Renee when I was a kid. She still has awesome range.

  • same here. I had a thing for Renee too. But she was a bit older than me back when I had that crush.

  • Thats a great cover of the Alan Parsons Project single, good stuff

  • Don't know she was good at fake playing an instrument. She always had fun up there on stage no matter what she was doing.

  • Martika has played instuments in the past in season 1.

  • Wonder why they stopped having her on some instrument.

  • Noticed something else that appears to be VERY rare: Martika "playing" an instrument during the song.

  • mario lopez aka AC Slater on drums.. a lot of peeps dont know he was the drummer on kids incorperated for many a year :) awesome vid

  • wow!.The girls very talented!..

    tienen bueno talento las ni~as!

    tky

  • the best song in gta vcs

  • The second girl they showed in the beginning is Fergie. at :12-:14.

  • Best cover version i've ever seen

  • I like this version better than Allan Parsons Project's.

  • ¬¬ lol

  • who's the lead singer here?

nice rendition of alan parsons project

  • Renee Sandstrom - very talented.

  • impressive

  • Fuck off, kleinebudde. Is your life so damn pathetic and fucked-up that you have to leave a comment putting down kids who were working at the time. What was your lazy-ass doing? Were you making money, helping your parents to maintain a house? I don't think so, Einstein. Have a wonderful day!

  • The Year is 1980?

  • no, not 1980. The song came out that year but this t.v. show.

  • If I can guess, this was probably from the 1985/1986 Season. What I like about this cover version is that it shows that it's from that period. The original song from 1980 sounds good for that period, but they had to arrange it to fit mid-80s style, musically. The original sounds post-disco dance rock.

  • Beacuse Fergie was in this show also and Fergie is NOW more popular than Renee Sands. DUH!!

  • these fuckin stupid kids!

  • Shut these fucking idiots up!!!!!

  • I see it like this, at the very least Kids Incorporated sought to bring new(well, 80s) and old music to kids. By doing that, others and myself developed a broader interest of musical genres and styles. It sure beats Kids Bop and a lot of the stupid songs out today. Nowadays, people's interests have narrowed and a lot of become ignorant of other genres in general.

  • Great talent Renee and the others for a good musical interpretation of the mythical APP track. Yet out of theme because the meaning of the obscure lyrics is parents talking about their children, not children speaking..

  • You were an asshole as a kid, were you? That's what I thought. And I am sure your dad fuck with you.

  • Awesome Job!!!

  • 80s-a-riffic lol

  • It's a very nice version. Love how they brought the sound of the mid-80s pop and applied it to the original song from 1980. That's something I loved about Kids Incorporated, not only did they cover songs from the present time(well, during the mid-80s onward) but they did some oldies with style. Good homage!

  • sorry, i prefer the original more. this is quite good, though.

  • Thank you for uploading this. I love this song (and all of the works of Alan Parsons)

  • k miarda

  • Great song! Fun cover.

  • Just think.. The blond chick in the pink dress (Stacy Ferguson) grew up to be Fergie in the Black Eyed Peas.

  • You know this song by Alan Parsons Project would appear on VCS. Pretty neat, huh?

  • Great !!!! 1980 return today or tommorow. That's true

  • "where do they go from here now that these children have grown up" no kidding.

  • One of them is Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.

  • who use to be in a band called Wild Orchid with the girl singing..they are amazing

  • she's amazing! love it!

  • Yay Keytar! I can't see what model the kid's playing, though. Stupid kid with the bad haircut in the front row! and the rest of the time, he's in bad lighting... Looks like a Casio, though.

Very nice cover. Renee's dance was a lot better than Bowie's Two-Step, I'll tell you that. The only Problem I have is that Keytarist was pretty much overlooked in the vid...

  • No I think this was my favorite KI song of all time.:)

  • what vocals! Renee had such a powerful mature voice for her age. Great.
