  • Thanks ELP cuz without boring groups like you, punk and then, U2 wouldn't have happened the way they did. I like this better

  • What album is this off of, i cant find it on iTunes. It is okay but its not the greatest. Bono's voice sounds weak.

  • Gregg Lake is the best. - Bono's ego drowns out the sound.

  • rather i shitty version of a great song...

  • Tough call. I dig the U2 guitar style, hauntingly ethereal but Bono's voice seems weak like he's recuperating from having been sick.

I like the lyrics change to reflect the hope of a loving Creator, though it's getting harder everyday to believe the beginnings of a religion based upon God's perfect image desiring anything to do with evil & sin.

-Still there's the hope, without which life is no more than a study in futility, vanity & sorrow.

So what's so wrong in hoping, even if it's wrong?

  • I think, the U2 style represents our time, the one we live-in, little hope, lots of sorrow,

  • Very weak and uninspired, listless and dreary, compared to the musical and thematic MASTERPIECE FROM EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER. Such great material, and this is all U2 could do with it?? Rather pathetic, in my opinion.

  • just a Greg Lake single

  • This isn't ELP, it's U2. When you become used to a tune by a specific artist It's sometimes difficult to appreciate anothers style.

Certainly not their best but pathetic...not!

  • @wayne5890 ya got that right..(that bad eighties music)would crush most of these autotune pukes today.battle of the bands...LIVE!

  • This song is a cover, that realeased in Christmas 08 for ONG Red.. Not a new material... Not NLOTH.

  • Like it. Reminds me a great deal of Peace on Earth.

  • u2 is,is only.

  • yes i love u2..but in my estimation emerson lake and palmers original song is the greatest of the "rock era"christmas songs.song by greg lake

  • Christmas is nothing but Celtic pagan cult that is morphed into Christianity.

  • Yeah, we all hung out in the dorms late at night talking too...

  • They use a riff from Troika. I played it as a music class song in Grade 9. How original.

  • I saw this band in Belfast in 1987.

    Feck they are good!

  • U2 touche à tout et réussi sur tout vivement la tournée...

Je me réjouis d'écouter la suite de l'album car là je suis déjà conquis.

  • DEPECHE MODE, New album SOUNDS OF THE UNIVERSE out 21.04. 09

  • Cool

  • "No Line On The Horizon" is due out on March 2 in the UK and a day later in the US. The album tracklisting is: 01. No Line On The Horizon 02. Magnificent 03. Moment of Surrender 04. Unknown Caller 05. Ill Go Crazy If I Dont Go Crazy Tonight 06. Get On Your Boots 07. Stand Up Comedy 08. Fez Being Born 09. White As Snow 10. Breathe 11. Cedars Of Lebanon
  • U2 is the best band that have existed..

  • U2's new album cover is so good looking

  • oh! hehe! but it really sounds like them! i mean it IS u2 but the song could have been written by them!

  • the typical u2 style!!!

they always said it would be so different but i love it! <333

  • Well...this song is not from their new album so maybe that's why this song doesn't differ from the typical U2 songs.

  • this is not a U2 song, but a cover from Greg Lake

  • a moderate epic
