  • women do better at lower body exercises because most of their muscle tissue is in their lower body whereas its the reverse for men, most of a mans muscle tissue is in his upper body. So lunging and squatting for a woman will be technically easier. This said, men should trian their lower ody and women should train their upper body. .

  • @eowdaoc knee wraps are a good idea for anyone who needs them. Knees often cant handle certain positions, yet if a person wants to squat I say good for her.

  • You will getter better results with more focus on your eccentric motions during these movement if your really competing bodybuilding.

    There isn't much control during many of these exercises which hinders strength gains and growth.

  • @missrosetejano squats are 1 of the most important and most technically challenging exercises to perform (without considering oly lifts clearly). smiths give you the false feeling of having a good control of the weight, while instead they force your squat to be performed in a straight line. thinking that going down straight is good technique is very wrong, in fact when squatting down (especially with heavier weights) the torso bends forward completing a curve trajectory.

  • @missrosetejano now bending forward is very different from rounding your back, which you should never.ever do. when you bend forward it is to balance the weight (don't transform the squats in goodmornings though) and always remember chest up and butt out throughout the movement. the smith forces you to change trajectory, therefore if you cant bend forward you will bend inwards (round-back) and mess up your overall form.

    It's recommended if you don't want to blow out your knees on leg day.

  • @AntiMale you dont really need knee wraps unless you are doing your maximum which is about 1.3-2 times more than your body weight..

  • @LesFayes i know eh, i laugh at people who can squat a lot on the smith and cant do worth shit on the actual free barbell rack. The smith takes SO MUCH away from your core and from stabilizing muscles, just keeping that barbell balanced on your traps on a free barbell is a great stress to the body, not to mention the squat itself.

  • this looks to me like wrestling legs exercises anyways all the workout she did are great for legs but i specially this is better when you do it slow
