What Spidey did to dehydrate Rhino was just plain cruel when you think about it...ever been in a sauna before? Imagine if you were in one and the only place you could sweat from was your face. When you consider how huge Rhino is, to be in a place as hot as that and unable to sweat from anywhere else, that could be probably be enough for a slow, agonizing death. Otto screwed up really bad on that design...

Of course, if Peter had the symbiote, he'd be even tougher. Stronger, faster, and gains the "whole body" powers of Venom. If it were for the whole evil thing, Pete would never have stopped using the symbiote.

This Rhino differs due to the fact that he is an American. Also the original Rhino had his capabilities given to him by a skin-bonded polymer armor and radiation treatment instead of a titanium resin suit.

Personally, I like this Rhino better. Keeps the power origins clean and simple, and retains the threatening traits.

I love how the villains are depicted in this series. In the comics, they seem more like jerks in costumes, who always would get beaten by being knocked out, or by spidey teaming up with a different superhero. But this is different! They are depicted the way they were meant to be depicted: Unstoppable forces of nature. So Spidey usually has to take advantage of their massive character flaws, or powers' weakness. AWESOME
