I never understood why they added damage drop to the LMGs. It just made them completely worthless. Before you suffered having more recoil, slower movement, and longer reload but had high damage at any range. Now you have all the cons with terrible damage drop.

They're basically retarded assault rifles now.

Drift0r, considering that I'm guessing you get all of your stats from the Denkirson proboards, and also you did a video on the akimbo rate of fire buff, I'm surprised you aren't aware that the LMGs fire rates on consoles aren't as high as they are claimed to be in the game guide. The MK46 does not shoot 859 RPM. It actually shoots at about 715 RPM, the same as the MG36 and the L86 LSW.

But if you're stupid enough to run past the piece of cover I like over and over, that's not my problem. First person shooters can't be all one thing or the other, it'll ruin the game. @PaZ1369 But what's been happening is that the whiny rushers have been crying to the devs that they hate campers, cuz they can't wrap their head around the fact that it beats how they play, and so the devs have to change the game to inhibit camping, or "defensive play" as some call it. So guess what happens? People who camp STOP PLAYING, not switch to rushing. Why? because the game isn't boring if it's all clutch reaction and running around aimlessly, and it shouldn't be that way.

Camping is the rock to rushing's scissors, where as paper is people who play the objective. But unlike Rock/Paper/Scissors, Camping beats both rushing and objective play. Why? Because assuming the camper has superior positioning that player will have the ability to beat both types. Superior strategy, obv.

Also, just because something is simple enough to replicate doesn't mean that a player is less skilled for using it, but why? If a player is smart enough to recognize the dominant playstyle and replicate it in the first place, that person is more skilled than the people who don't.

Skills that are easily acquired are more well received because they are more practical and can be learned more quickly than something that is harder. I'm not even sure what my stats are on MW3, somewhere around 1.6KD, which I'm proud of considering the anti-camp measures put in the game. All you seem to say is that camping ruins the game, which it doesn't as it's a perfectly legit style of play and while not exactly outstanding it does net a higher average KD for the most part, better overall performance and more killstreak rewards, among other things. Where as running around places luck at the forefront of you strategy and can lead to much weaker play.

Nice breakdown. I've always taken a liking to the MK46 though I am not at all an LMG fan. The gun basically seems like a big assault rifle with a shit ton of ammo. Personally for the next in depth I would like to see the ARs broken down. I feel like we, (or most of us) having played MW3 since November have a good general knowledge of what the perks and proficiences do. Though there are some things I'd like answered for them, like the true benefit of the "breath" prof on assault rifles.

@ZephyrX02 Because with a glitch, if you use hardline pro and get a couple assists-count-as-kills, then they'll count for your first moab. So if you get like a 22 kill streak and 4 assists you'll get it, and then if you get 2 more kills for the regular 24 kill moab, you get it again. Not really sure why they didn't fix that yet

@ZephyrX02 double MOAB is very easy if you can get one. After you got your first one (if you use hardline perk or the specialist pack) just make sure you kill 6 more guys without dying, and there you go, your second MOAB. Good luck.
