  • DNA TEST!

  • Sounds, smells and taste like a vendetta

  • my tribe isn't rich at all. i live on checks i work for. it would hurt to be kicked off my rez for no reason. stop running a casino, then maybe you won't have any problems.

  • Those damn greedy white peopl........oh. My bad.

  • Spokesman for the tribe is as smooth and smarmy as any white lawyer. Congratulations Native Tribes, you are now white. That means there are no more Native peoples and there are no more treaties. No more Indian lands. The White man wins again. You are throwing it away and grinning to yourselves the whole time. The money gets them every time.

  • That's sad to here because they've been doing this in Africa , and STILL ARE, for hundreds of years. AVATAR is the story of our two peoples and when the movie hit whites just took it as a love story never considering the symbolism behind it They purposely didn't allow this movie to win an Oscar that year so I guest the truth does hurt.

  • @twistedtree01 I'm African-American and I can't believe what I am seeing right now. This is !@#$%^ insane. I mean he stated that the people didn't want to join the tribe til money came rolling in...ARE YOU KIDDING? THAT'S THE LEAST THIS DAMN COUNTRY CAN DO! This is beyond nuts. And they wonder why black don't trust this government.

  • @Prodma000 do whites still trust your government no one trusts the goverment in Canada so this is good that you don't in our books your one more smarter American out of denial!

  • Comment removed

  • @lucy9359 Some are coming to the realization but the problem with whites, in general, is that things only concern them when "they" feel threaten. Blacks will never trust the government. Only are "Uncle Tom's" do that. We don't even trust the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus because whites control that too and it's been that way for some time. People from the outside looking in on our community are so judgmental and never consider that a war has been waged against us for a

  • @Prodma000 not in Canada your looking at it from the perspective of an American and believe me I can't see the difference between black or white Americans when it comes to polititics, your all so going to save your Country lol good luck with that one....In Canada we are the pillaged of America only good for our natural resources and what you all can use us for, so we don't quite believe in the were going to fix our Nations, lol what a joke, anyway...

  • @lucy9359 very long time and both of our communities have been "UNDER SEIDGE" against what we call "white terror" I mean here in Florida we have whites coming in from the Caribbean who try to associate with the black community but really take !@#$ behind our backs and are only concerned with their special interest. I had a conversation one time about how NAtive American in Florida, for the most part, have been successful but the overwhelming majority STILL live in abject poverty in

  • @lucy9359 or on the Rez and her comment was that her "white" Native-American friend lives on a reservation with no problems-Really? I've been watching so many videos on fake NAs until I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't realize how out of hand this has gotten and "WE" are at the end the losers in this. Unless it is concerned about Native and African Americans I can care less about anyone else because they only come in to "leech" off the community. Our communities have been suffering

  • @lucy9359 for 100s of years and enough is enough. You guys stays strong up there and don't let them intimidate you or pull "the race card" argument. The US still has a "race" problem, a per-existing condition that they have yet to find a cure for and this illness has spread and "sicken" the world with it. Now the universe is out of balance so our Creator must intervene to restore order and balance for our people. This world has truly gone MAD!

  • Appauling!

  • Lol Stanley crooks of the so called "Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Communtiy" isn't even Mdewakanton. Only 2 of the familys are real loyal Mdewakanton, and one of them are having court problems and trying to get enrolled AGAIN! My family been there longer then any family on the mystic lake casino reservation today !

  • A tribe is a "proto-nation," not a "proto-race. DNA does NOT count for tribal membership. It would be like saying that there is such thing as "American DNA"

  • Why are people keep calling them Indians ? They are Native's not Indians.Indians are people from India. You can't call two ethic groups the same name.Makes no sense.

  • @lambofgod661 It's spelled "YOU'RE"

  • Comment removed

  • Twenty thousand a month is an obscene amount of money... I DO NOT feel sorry for these people.

  • They say the tribe were greedy? These bastards who got kicked out are greedy. Making a big deal because they are not getting SO MUCH free money any more. They have no idea about getting jobs.

  • yeah, this is absolute BS. To "disenroll" a lineage. It's about greed alright - the government and officials, certainly not those who were kicked out and their tribal roots 'eradicated'. There is something drastically wrong in the system, because the system is a crock of S**T!

  • I live in Georgia and have never met a native before, it would be nice. My question to you or any native. How do you view blacks in america and slavery? Thanks

  • The same as most people would. Most people with native lineage do not belong to a federally recognized tribe. There is this weird fantasy that every native comes from a reservation. These tribes , just like the pechunga held name roles for individuals to register themselves to the tribe; back then, if you were native, you probably did not want to be associated with the tribe for fear of being targeted. An overwhleming majority of all native populations do not belong to a tribe.

  • I also ask you to ask the 3 groups in NC usingthe Saponi name where their ancestors was specifically called the Saponi....and again ask them why they will not enroll any families that WAS recorded as Saponi.....ask them 3 groups why they use the Collins and austin and Griffin and Harrison's records to prove their descent when they do not allow enrollment of those families.

  • Read Robert K Thomas' Cherokee communties of the south (it's online) and was wrote back in the 1970's...look at the only family called Saponi in there..was the collins.....now look what the 3 tribes in NC Today that use the Saponi name was being called back then.....now go and ask those 3 groups in NC why they refuse the Collins family enrollment.

  • This is terrible. This is like the Tribes in NC using the Saponi name....the collins family has always been called Saponi with documentation to back it up. The Collins was being called saponi before anyone from the 3 groups in NC using the saponi name....yet they refuse the collins family enrollment, The austin, harrison, and Griffin families who are actually listed as Saponi are refused enrollment.

  • money is power and the tribe memeber said once they were getting a casino they wanted to come back thats not good

  • Native American independance from the Jewnited States!

  • its about money ..they wouldnt bother dis enrolling the families ..4 generations ??

    way before the casinos

  • I have a friend who is Cherokee. Another who's Apache. As for me, I am part Seminole. I don't look like it but I really am. Latino, Black, Seminole, Irish, Scottish, Portuguese.

  • Another strong explanation for this incident is that it is motivated by political forces, namely socialistic, seeking to destabilize the United States and establish hostile Indian nations within the United States with open borders through which hostiles may one day travel, armed and with impunity. For a tribe to begin to isolate itself from America in this way, it should be required to fence and build border guard posts, and require passports and visas both ways. Else chill.

  • exactly. they also should have no say whatsoever in what the the state does. I live in MN. and the tribes are protesting that the state may build casinos of its own.

  • An indian tribe is by law not exactly a clannischer estate (extended family). It lacks respect for family per se. It's more akin to political racism, therefore. You see, this family WAS a member of the tribe, by adoption, intermarriage, long association, cohabitation, etcetera. ANY real family is an adoption of this sort. Every marriage and childrearing is an adoption into a tribe. This disenrollment of longstanding relatives soils and obfuscates the definition of "tribe", so I suspect mafia.

  • The reason for this particular disenrollment was to establish legal precident so that the distribution of gaming profits could be based on stock ownership instead of personal traits or ancestry. In other words, the gaming industry of the tribe is deprivatizing and arranging for enhancement of a stock issue or IPO. Since a tribe is not a conventional family per se in common and other laws of the land, it is vulnerable to this type of siezing. The tribal beaurocracy itself is armoring itself.

  • this is wrong....

  • jeezm thats not very kind and understanding of you to say that.

  • Greed.... it works both ways. The tribe wants this family out because it frees up 25 million dollars a year. The family wants in because theyre missing the money. If the tribe was broke, neither would care at all. Money fucks up everything.

  • the family wants in since that is their history. they were a proud member of the tribe when the times were bad, so saying it is JUSt about money is missing the point

  • well, cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

  • since when a white guy builds a casino, he pays taxes, AND the casino has to pay out a given amount. I wouldnt say they are "paying off" anyone. who will take the casino away? the state cant, and the feds wont. you have you own little country onto yourselves

  • Oh, would you like a little cheese with your whine? They should be paying at least for road repair and increased police, since they are the reason people are traveling. Who would shut the casino down? The state has no power to do that, and I highly doubt the feds would, since that would piss people off. Just out of sheer curiosity, how much does your casino make in a year? Do they pay any taxes whatsoever? Is the revenue taxed?

  • Comment removed

  • I dont think, I know for a fact that the state and the deds does not get any revene from the casino, since that was the deal they made. tribes with casinos dont pay state taxes.

  • I would know that since I work for an indian casino. casinos dont pay anything to the state.

  • I call BS. casinos dont have to pay state taxes

  • 6:42 thats a damn white woman....it makes me laff that white ppl and blacks sure want to be native.....I just laugh. Because the tribes are now cleaning out their respective closets on these so called enrolled members claiming to be native and yet cannot provide documentation on they're lineage.

  • it is their history too. if they do have indian ancestors, why shouldnt they be allowed to be native?

  • @hint0122 I am a full blooded sioux, and i am fully enrolled with my tribe. Now, that maybe so. but, in these times with the economy and financial shortfalls on Indian Reservations. One must prove the lineage of your clan or family. That is the reality of the situation. Hard to believe this could happen, yes it is happening. It is very unfortunate, however we have to do this in order to secure our future. wannna bees will not be real. playing native is a whole different story.

  • well, your future is bleak if you keep kicking people out. this family was a proud member of the tribe in the good times as well as the bad times. they didnt "play native"

  • @hint0122 my future is not bleak. the ones that are being kicked out are the ones their future is bleak. Are you one of them? Is that why you keep commenting back to me?? just end this right here, because you trying to make a point by im not the one you need to make a point to. it's unfortunate by its reality. get used to it and live with it. case closed. oh by the way....my future is secured, is yours???????????

  • I think it is ironic that in the name of "keeping your culture pure" you defend turning people away. thats the same type of line the nazis used

  • @hint0122 hey can you take your comments to the people that deserve your bitching and gripin. cuz im not the one that has to answer your shit. If you feel that strongly about it then take it to where it counts ok? and stop blaming me for my tribe doing the right thing? who are you anyway? are you native? the way you sound i dont think so. so go elsewhere to voice your pity. case closed.

  • no, you just pass the buck onto someone else. you dont care since you get your money.

  • @hint0122 hey man, why don't you voice your concerns to the real people you need to get in touch with. ok, ? cause this is getting way out of hand, you seem to be blaming me personally for what is happening here, I didn't start this , however, i am glad that is was started, these so called Indians are fighting for their own sovreignty, well i wish them well, but, they are not alone in this fight. However, you need to address to where it needs to be addressed ok, now go find it. case closed.

  • Too bad the interviewer did'nt ask the right questions, there has to be so much more to this case that we did not hear,I would think.

  • LMAO!! 20,000 a month WTF WERE YALL DOING WITH THAT FUCKING MONEY LMAO!! None of them look INDIAN ANYWAY LMAO!!

  • @PharaohII yes they do

  • So what is your annual paycheck Mr. Chairman?

  • Let this economy dry up and the U.S. fail greatly...the real Indians of any blood quantum are going to remain. But there will be a mass exodus of disinterested who are currently enrolled. Sell your people, sell your soul, sell the communal land...take the devil for allotments now transformed into casino dividends. Shame, shame, SHAME!!! We get hurt by the Whites...but the worst is to be hurt by your own Indian people!

  • @hwiseman1 Yes it is a very sad thing! I wonder if the set up of the gaming thing was meant to this - divide and conquer - I don't know why people can't leave people alone!!! How can they do this to people who have been living there for 4 generations? I personally believe that the state of the world will be saved by natives and the Rainbow Warriors. Natives have always been spiritually strong - they have to build on this and not forget their origins! There is a growing awareness of this ...

  • @hwiseman1 ... It may be a good source of income for natives on a reservation to offer courses to non natives in wilderness survival and traditional medicines etc etc I don't know what do you think?

  • Comment removed

  • I as Native american love to sock white cocks, so that's my place beneith there bolls,

We lost our culture & dignity

  • oh heck this pisses me off..they proved the tribal council wrong with their grandmother...money once that money starts coming in they get greedy these people had 90 members of their family disenrolled wtf...the rez I come from we already have tribal council who are greedy and our casino is struggeling...we we are one of the poorest in the nation

  • this family was a part of the tribe in the bad times, so saying it is about money is dumb

  • this is horrible

  • I think its funny that they are kicked people out and its not about money

  • I am Mescalero Apache this is what you call greedy people or there is another agenda against them. But I am not the one to judge or do not know what exactly happen. Yes the Tribe should create better laws than what they have and I think they should all take a DNA test to see if they are of the tribe and should be shown to the public as they take the blood test so people they can prove who they are and shut the media and others up.

  • Its true, nobody wants to be part of a poor tribe untill money comes in. Theres alota leeches out there.

  • all about that damn frogskin, enit?

  • Cool Fact about my tribe and reservation (Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux), the "chief" is a fake non loyal mdewakanton and got proven to be a ojibwe native so " stanley Crooks" and his fake family "CROOKS" are getting kicked off 2011-2012 and alot of other familys.

  • MACARRO AND STANEY ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES. AND STANELY IS NOT A LOYAL MDEWAKANTON HE IS FAKE!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is sad they can do this... but as for the family that was disenrolled scrambling to make ends meet... what did the 90 adults do with each of their $20,000 allowance each month?...

  • @islandcherokee that is what I was thinking they obviously never invested any of it or saved it doesn't make sense in Canada they wouldn't even have had to pay taxes on it...if they were white I would know what they did with it paid half of it in taxes...In that case having an income of $10,000 a month I would definately have a bank acount from that much money easily....like at least $5000 a month!

  • this is sad everything the Natives went through you would think they could actully count on theire current leaders to do the right thing, coruption, coruption everywhere!

  • @thriller79 the most liked comment blamed it on the white man...not surprising...it has to be a white persons fault everything else is!

  • @lucy9359 Hey Lucy, where are you getting that info from? didn't say anything about a white person, to me the whole thing started because of conflicting ideas, natives are the founders of our land, i respect them, but i also know where your coming from, alot of white (the majority) never wanted anything bad to happen to anyone, its a fucked up world, can't explain it, my irish ancestors came here to escape potato famine, then put into civil war, not easy for anyone! peace, reply please,thanks-

  • @thriller79 I said that because the comment that got the most thumbs up said that they were greedy having learned the white man's ways...I am doing a project right now on native american and I have there fore been watching tons of videos and they blame everything on white people...not just them other races to it is true...I find it funny really...one video said diabetis is a white man's disease, we inherited it,lol!

  • @lucy9359 remember youtube is an easy place for people to run off with their mounth, i suggest you vist some reservations and talk face to face with Natives. Don't beleive everything people say on youtube, talk with the older generations too, young generations tend to be snappy and judgemental, this is the case with all youngsters from all races, read books too, please don't let the ignorance of youtube affect you, it did me, still does sometimes but hey were all just human! Peace and good luck.

  • @thriller79 thanks I think your right the generation under us does have a sufficient lack of manners...not all of them of course...and this was very kind of you to say to me I appreciate it...I wasn't allowing it to shroud my vision for the most part but every time you ask a question and someone tells you what an idiot you are because your white...and the other thing is my mother was native and the amount of people who will ignore that and say your white...well I am not white or native!

  • @lucy9359 didn't realize your mixed, it seems mixed people get the most flack from everyone, i can see in your posts below, some you stick up for white, some native, i have the most repect for open minded mixed people, i hate saying mixed its just another definition to catogorize people, to put people in a seperate group, here in america theres alot of races, ignorance too, but like i said i think youtube is an easy place for that, plus people are angry about their own lives and poor choices.

  • @thriller79 I hate racism as a result of being mixed race and we do get a double dose your right ...the only issue I will stand on is that I don't believe that there should be special status for any people groups in North America any longer...there are to many people groups who built North America to say that one group deserves tax exemptions or free houses or schooling or what ever...that is siding humanity, I think!

  • @-5:29-What a liar, the "chairman" says that money is not the issue, if it was corn the same thing would have happened !!! this guy is full of shit, natives and almost all people shared foods and if there was a surplus ...there would have been feasts....not hoarding...it is all about money

  • Our government are evil they have no right to kick them out of there reservation homes they have every right to stay as long as they want this there land and I don't tolerate any of this at all ! Stand up for self and your people you ppl have been dealing with this crap way too long !

  • as a white man i hate what my goverment has done to the native americans the goverment is nothing but crooks who needs to be lock up for life the sad thing for me is that almost all the goverment is white

  • BOOHOO this is so saddd awwwww, easy to say but ,noone has a single clue what to do

  • America Will Eat Itself Up...

  • We are f***k up...Up, here in Canada also about our 1905 teaty # 9..

    What can we do?

    What must we do?

But hear are my thoughts we all need to stick together on both sids of our countrys from the South end,USA & Canada.

  • Man that's bull they can not do that the gov. don't want us to be the way we are so what do we do take what was are's back befor they take it all.

  • they have always gone by bloodline, but the family on this video i could clearly see they are native america indian.

  • the na'vi like the ones in the movie avatar ....Africans were the same way

  • @jumpingonglass are you on crack? its if you have the native blood or not, and if you grew up out there and always live out there

  • @14littlecrow this is there land fuck you mean

  • @14littlecrow At Pechanga, living on the reservation is not a requirement in fact the chief (tribal chairman) Mark Macarro, who is in this video speaking against the tribal membership of my family grew up in San Bernardino, Ca and doesn't live there now so by your reasoning he should be disenrolled. On the other hand, a lot of my relatives in this segment have lived on the reservation for many, many years and long before Macarro.

  • They should just kick the gangsta youth indians out of the tribes, all the gangsta youths are destroying their own people.

  • @Bagatronic Thats the parents fault, those kids were just brought up to think that life style is okay. I myself being Sioux and seeing pine ridge one of the worst reservations on earth. The parents gamble, drink, and do drugs and don't take care of the kids. The tribe I'm enrolled have also kicked people out for not even being related to the original members. The rule is you need to be 50% native of the tribe and be blood decent from the original members. Most are only related by marriage.

  • Strange case, there must be more to it than we're seeing, the family all look native, i was expecting them to look non native, which is another matter.

  • no sound?

  • Notice how Mr.Macarro at about the 5:49 or 5:50 point does a quick look with his eyes when the reporter asks him about the tribe ignoring their own hired expert. It is like he is telling an unseen person in the room that he will handle the question when the other person likely was trying to get him to not answer it.

  • Also, we were not allowed to have legal representation at any of the proceedings, we were denied copies of proceeding transcripts, and at our appeal of our disenrollment to the Pechanga tribal council we not allowed to ask questions or to even take notes.

Mr. Macarro says in the commercial leading up to the segment that we were afforded fairness but nothing could be further from the truth.

The main problem is that if a tribe violates even their own rules who can make them follow them?

  • The thing is the same people who were the deciding votes in our disenrollment case on the enrollment committee were the people who filed the initial challenge of our tribal membership, which was disallowed, but after this they had close relatives who submitted and/or signed statements against us but they were still allowed to rule on our case, a violation of the tribe's own constitution. So our accusers were in effect sitting in judgement of our fate. So what chance did we have?

  • this is bull im so glad im an urban native cause if they kicked my family off i would be pissed

  • It's sad ya know...some of our people are falling into the white mans trap...GREED

  • @spiderloc209 you don't think that it is racist at all to say that greed is the white man's initiation? I guess not it is a shame when white people become drunks and fall into the native mans trap!

  • @lucy9359 oh yea because we Natives brought fire water to our people....just like we gave our people blankets with small pox...ha! You make me laugh.

  • Comment removed

  • @lucy9359 Hey I take responsibility for myself and what I do, but we didnt put ourselves on reservations...we didnt give ourselves the poor living conditions we have today... I'm not saying every white person is evil... I'm just saying it was white man that put the American Indians where we are today...and by the way... who do you think we learned scalping from?

  • @spiderloc209 my mother was native american...I am not denying that a certian group of white people the vaticanized governmental elites of those times didn't do a job on you...however if you live in Canada today and your native and not making it is purely brainwashing and not the white man kind...you get a free house and you don't have to pay tax if you live on the reserve...if you leave you so you can get a better job some areas are to isolated so you need to move...you can go to college free.

  • @spiderloc209 that to me spells no exscuse for not making it...you even have special rights for jobs status...I know all the people who are not making it here in Canada want to argue but it seems to me it is a lifestyle choice...I am ok with that if you want to live where you maintain your hunting fishing lifestyle go for it but don't whine about the white man when you make that choice and live in poverty...if white men do that they will live in poverty too! I live near a city so I can work!

  • @lucy9359 - Get your long sniffy white nose the hell back in Canada you bigot !!!

  • @spiderloc209 and that whole white men taught you all how to scalp is a big fat native lie...this is the lack of responsibility I am talking about...everything is the white man's fault what a cop out...Nfld Canada has the highest rate of alcoholism in this country and they are white there...mostly Irish descent...I bet over 75% of them have a drinking problem...is this because the British introduced them to alcohol? I mean common ok I think there is a time to get real in life after 500 years!

  • @spiderloc209 and if your going to talk about the greed then you better get specific instead of generalizing...all white people are not the greedy ignorant world oppressing people...the majority of white people think those greedy money loving elites are horribly evil people who don't care about anyone acsept lining their pockets and we are the ones they suck all the taxes out of...as a small business owner? we work 6 days a week to get a tax bill that would knock your socks off...

  • @spiderloc209 it is really unfair of you to label white people as a whole because of what the top 5% of them are doing......Americans don't even own the corporations or banks or any of the rest of it...they are just another sucker in the pile like the rest of us...you get to blame an entire race for what the minority in that race has done, if it were your own race doing it you'd make an exscuse for them in fact you do what ever they do is the white man's fault....

  • @spiderloc209 Couldnt have said it better myself. Greed and power will only devour. Where has the love gone where has all the hopi traditions and values gone peace and at harmony with nature and people. Everything comes down to money and people will shit on their own kind for a few bucks. So what if they aint got the same blood they been living with the people for decades side by side. Those that were friends were quick to plunge the knife into their backs over a few bucks

  • last time I checked, its the indains that are doing it

  • @spiderloc209

can i just say dude that not all white people are greedy. I have nothing, dont want nothing except to be left alone to live freely and be fully self reliant. Greed is not the colour of skin but lays inside people of all races. I love native people and their cultures all over the world and i have the highest respect for them. Sadly the majority of the worlds past, present and future populations have been and will be polluted by the unquenchable greed of the few.

  • it is sad to say that her in canada we are having the same kind of problem. we now have a newly elected chief who is wanting a casino on our reservation also.

this same chief has taken some tribal members to court in the past, saying the members dont own the land although traditionally these members have lived there forever. NOW HE wants a casino and he will say we dont own the property.

  • @jamaicasky - ITS ALL ABOUT GREED AND NOTHING ELSE.

  • Stanley crooks is greedy and loves his money he kicked out true LDs when he is not even mdewakanton. the government needs to start doing stuff about the lawsuits against these tribes who are making soooo much money!!!

  • @empireruler1 real talk i am a lineal descendent in the wolfchild case

  • hope mystic lake gets caught like denny hecker

  • Oh the irony! $20,000 per month! I would feel for them if they paid taxes or contributed to the US. Let us vote, but don't tell us what to do. Heritage? Pure insanity....

  • @otter1971 Tribes do pay taxes for their monthly per capita checks but they dont pay certain state taxes which is completely understandable because why should they have to pay taxes on the land where their ancestors were born and forced to leave so instead of letting your jealousy talk go research a little bit or you'll continue to sound like a complete a**.

  • So Sad American Indians can be infected with greed as well! It was greed that took from them all they had and now they are doing the same to each other! Will The First People survive doing what was done in the attempt to rid this country of them. They survive the pale face stealing their lands, will they survive stealing each others right to be. Shame on you for doing this to your own people! The man seem to think this family was there because of the casino but that was their home before it.

  • @dayla072609, I am related to the people in the video and I was a tribal member years before the casino was even planned and most of our extended family of about 100 adults who were kicked out of the tribe were also members before the casino.

We have owned our family land allotment since the 1890's and we have had family members who have lived on our land for generations before the casino.

In fact some of us were members before Macarro was a member.

  • I feel for anyone who has been 'dis-enrolled' from their tribes but what I don't understand about this family in the video is how the news can say they are struggling to survive but weren't they getting millions of dollars every year? where is the money they had before? what a lot of us Natives don't understand is that the government still has it's hands in the casino money and a lot of that money comes from feeding off of people's addictions so it's not like it's a blessing from God.

  • This is an awesome video. Check out, "Seeing Through Native Eyes". Type in Star Fort and you can easily find it.

  • wow I didn't know things were happening like that but I did have a feeling!!

  • Arnt we the illegals here in America, the Indians were here first!!

  • US govt has no right to govern the natives in these affairs.

Native law exsisted WELL BEFORE the United States did, the US should stay the hell out of their affairs.

  • @mrceebees14 I kinda agree, but Pechanga had no right to kick these people out. Shit is gonna hit the fan one of these days, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of these tribes had a Rez civil war.

  • So wrong and so sad. Greed is the death of us all.

  • They should take the tribe to Federal Court and sue. Get them where it hurts

  • This is absurd! How could your own tribe do that to you? Its sad, what greed can do to people. I'm Navajo/Zuni.

  • @UglyP I agree its f'd up. Individual Natives have rights. My issue is mainstream media putting Native issues out for non-NDNs & being sloppy with facts/context, taking advantage of most "American's"' limited knowledge of Native America. The danger is uninformed outsiders will make decisions that take away from both tribal & individual NDN rights, and all will lose. Unfair as may be, tribes also have rights. Tribes & NDNs need each other, so neither should cut off the nose to spite the face.

  • Like the title of South park "The Man's Greed" These Pechanga are a disgrace! I can understand kicking out whites but how dare they kick out their own people!?

  • many many crook,s sold you bhoter,s way the go boooooooooo

  • It's all about money and greed and money. 30k a month, 200k a month, some tribe members getting a million a month and all this happening while some other tribes are dirt poor and can not afford an electric pump well and have to share outhouses. pitifull. ps, yeah Stanley Crooks, I am including YOU with the other bastards.

  • @ckcelite crooks are getting kicked off

  • @14littlecrow "crooks are getting kicked off"

What do you mean? Stanley Crooks, or just crooks in general? Please answer explain how you know, thanks!

  • @ckcelite there are on the kick off list, and they are not even on 1934 baserolls. they came on threw marrying a real native girl out here. there fake !

  • @ckcelite there are on the kick off list, and they are not even on 1934 baserolls. they came on threw marrying a real native girl out here. there fake !

all the crooks are getting kicked off his whole family !!

  • @14littlecrow There is no 1934 baseroll, unless they changed the requirments since we were kicked out of our tribe in 2006. I am related to the people in this segment and my ancestor was an original member of the tribe on the original enrollment rolls from the late 1800's, better than 1934 as the reservation was created in 1882. My family lived in one of the old Temecula Indian village sites, where the Pechanga come from, prior to the 1875 eviction, again, better than 1934

  • @kentaappel were you then kicked off? Is this a government run casino that pays the families money every month? how does it work?

  • @14littlecrow If they have since created a base roll of 1934, I haven't heard that this is the case, then some of the people on it were not on the rolls from the 1890's, when the real original people who have a direct linage to the old Temecula Indian village so that is why they would want that to be the base roll.

Elder Antonio Ashman, prior to the first written enrollment of 1979, said in a notarized statement that he knew our ancestor Paulina Hunter as a member of the Band. End of story

  • @14littlecrow yes, one of our relatives from the Madariaga branch of the Hunter clan did marry someone from the Stevenson family but we, the Madariagas included, do not claim our linage from someone who married, as you say, an Indian girl. We in fact claim our linage from a female Pechanga Indian from the 1800's, again, better than 1934, Paulina Hunter. Unless Paulina,. a female, married what you say is a real Indian girl, than we are not fake as you claim. learn your history before you post

  • @14littlecrow One more thing, watch this segment and it is clear that we Hunters, the Madariagas included, claim our line from a female, Paulina Hunter and even our crtics in the tribe don't dispute who we claim our heritage from. So we, as you say, don't claim our membership from someone who married an Indian girl so this segment proves how absurd your statement is. Feel free to come back here and trash talk me all you want but it still doesn't change that your statement has no basis in fact.

  • Put off by this presumably non-NDN anchorwoman authoritatively telling viewers that the Pechanga ad was misleading, specifically w/respect to court decisions. My interpretation of what Mr. Macarro was saying is the courts have repeatedly upheld the right of tribes to define their own membership. That is a fact. I think she misinterpreted due to a misunderstanding of basic federal Indian law, & given the already rampant misunderstandings about NDN peoples, I find that irresponsible & inflammatory

  • @kalisetsi, it's still fucked up. They shouldn't dis-enroll anybody unless they were less than 50% Native American.

  • @TheUglyPrince at 3:49 see what color that women is red skin black

  • @ashonpar3 thats just cause the picture is in black and white

  • @Selenaencarnation she still have a dark pigmentation that is a fact she is not white

  • @ashonpar3 oh yeah duh i know that lol i only said that b/c people always try to say us natives are black people and its annoyin

  • @Selenaencarnation its nothing wrong with having a dark pigmentation.. Indians had dark skin. That's why people are trying to get rid of the Washington red skins Mascots so it dont reminds them that the Indians did not have light skin.... like you...

I am light skin my grand mother was INDIAN i have pic to prove it,but I am still proud to be consider black.

  • @ashonpar3, yeah so? It is common to find pictures like that... that's because of the cameras used back in the day.

  • @TheUglyPrince Pictures That shows the dark pigmentation of Indians
