What a pity that some of the best 3D animators around tend to choose those ugly characters to be the hero of their quest. This reminds me of the new and wonderful textured 3D-film RANGO. It could be a masterpiece if not all characters were ugly as sin! But keep on practicing - you are on a good way.

there's a plug in/ module for cinema 4d called Real Flow, which simulates water animation

Fantastic! I love the rendering of the fur - VERY well done. I've just got C4D, so I think it might be a while before I'm THAT good! Out of interest, how were the render times? I know when I've tried doing animations with Vue, it took forever to render a short animation. I'm guessing you renderedit scene by scene and compiled it in Final cut or aftereffects?

Yeah, we had about four quadro computers to render your stuff!

Yes we did, but for some cuts we used the integrated stage-object, that was sometimes very usefull and fast!

Yeah the Hair made it longer. We had to render some sceenes meanwhile as we did the animations, because we had a fix date to finsh our work! So I would say about 2-3 weeks throug (if you calculate it)...thanks for your time!
