  • tough work...i too make storyboards but deal wid pencil sketches ..is it necessary to make coloured drawings?? if yes then where its imp to make coloured frames??

  • sir, can you help me animate like that !

  • I am going into the animation feild as well. I have wanted to work for Disney since I was ten and now I am eighteen and I still have that goal. I think you are definitely good enough to work for Disney. Heck, maybe one day both of our dreams will come true and we will both be working for Disney.

  • There's no reason for you to work at Disney.

You are (at least) as good as they are, and you should do your own projects.

  • I saw the end result, it ended out REALLY good! :D

    Better than Disney!

  • I like the combination of rough, clean and colored ^^ I think the rough/cleaning parts, which are only lines are most interesting, especially for the Lady.

I would love to know if you have found work yet? 'Cause I'm now studying animation for.... well 3 Months now and now doing my first short animation, and exercises and so on. How long have you studyied for that? (my formation is about 2 Years long with additional 6 Weeks working in the job itself)

  • @NonosDrawer I studied for 4 years and have a degree in animation. I worked for 2 years at an animation company called "animated storyboards" doing flash animation. then I quit and worked as a freelancer for a couple of months. now I work for a new upcoming animation company called "4th dimension entertainment" with several interesting projects on the way.

I will admit, it's not easy finding a job in animation, but if you love it, don't give up!!!

  • @lpdisney Thank you very much for the answer ^^

I think in Luxembourg I'll have good chances to find a job in animation, but I don't know if they are very.... intersting. Bu at least it would be a job ^^

  • dang after seeing this... i am wondering how many sheets of paper u had to use to create this! about how many did u use to make just a 7 minute movie?

  • @x979023x About 4500 kind of...

  • Awesome. I always loved to watch the pencil test in animation (not sure why). I just love the way the lines look. So smooth and curved. When I draw I attempt to get my lines to look like yours.

  • This is incredible

  • wow the animation was just gorgeous (i probably spelled that wrong i know)

  • what is the movie about

  • @MrBat3man First of all this is the work in progress version. you can see on my channel the final version. Also if you don't understand the plot then I guess I didn't do my job, but I really can't start explaining here, right?

  • so well this be a real movie, cause i really want to see it.

  • @FightsRightsAlways No. this is just a short I did. This here is the work in progress. see on my channel the final version. And yes! those 7 minutes are all there is, no more.

  • @lpdisney dude really??? am so disappointed.this looks like it could be a really good movie.so what are their names?it's pretty clear this ice chick made a mistake and feels bad.i can also tell that she's falling for the dude, but he wants nothing to do with the girl who KILLED his parents.but i am sad to see that this is all.oh well maybe this will be a full movie someday,i know for a fact i would see it for sure.you are truly amazing. but i still wish this was a real movie.

  • its a wounderful film how long do you need to drawing so well

  • @TheSchiggi All my life I guess. at least 15 years.

  • loves this movie!!!! what type of paper did u use to hand draw it before creating it???

  • @x979023x regular printer paper. There should be a special paper for animation, but it's not sold here. so i did this on a regular 80gr size A3 paper (I like to draw on large paper). scanned it with an A3 scanner we had at school. but you can also do animation on regular A4 paper, I used that as well. good luck!

  • how did u do this by ur self anyways??

  • @Tinak00777 with a lot of hard work.

  • dude you alone drawing... thats hard and im speechless .........

  • absolutely amazing-i really envy your skills *subscribes*(

  • It's absolutely amazing that you created all of this by hand. Not only are you very dedicated, but you're immensely talented as well!

  • is this for disney snow queen?

  • @RobotMice Ha Ha... thanks :-) but no. This is the WIP of my personal project "Lady Ice". you can catch that movie on my channel and even buy the DVD packed with bonuses and cool stuff!

  • if you going to build an animation company...i want to be one of your animator,,hehe its professional madeanimation..great story..i can draw..but i can't use it in that way..

  • The Ice Queen looks phenomenal!

  • Whoa... AMAZING!!! O.O

When The Princess and the Frog came out I started thinking about future Disney hand drawn animated movies I'd like to see.

An ice movie was one of them!!

I LOVE the concept. And the animation is very well suited to the atmosphere of your movie.

It would be WONDERFUL if your movie could be turned into a full length film!

Well, I've just been inspired. Time to go draw. ;)

  • OHMYGOSH!!! Ur just amazing!!! U could even start a company of ur own :DDD

    This is just wonderful!!

Question: the ice queen doesn't grow in age?

  • That's amazing! Like Disney (she sort of moves like Pocohontas)

  • Man!! That's COOL!!

  • Hi ^^

I'm a friend of HGALLERY in Deviant Art

  • I've been waiting for a long time, and I'm wondering, how much longer till this animation is completed? I don;t mean to pressure you, I'm just one of the many fans eagerly waiting for this movie to come out completed on youtube!

  • The movie will be posted in a few weeks. The movie is done and now I'm working on the music. I will post a teaser trailer in a week or so, so hand in there just a little bit more! Thank you for waiting...

  • OMG, it's finished?! YAY I CAN'T WAIT! :D

  • aaaaaaaaaaaamazing *in awe

  • If Disney wouldn't consider you, I'd look into Marvel animations. You could do wonders.

  • I really hope this turns into a movie :)

  • wow, there's no doubt Disney would take you in a heartbeat! very very nice. i wish i had talent like yours. :)

  • All you have to do is send this to Disney and tell them you want to work with them... they will take you on ASAP!

  • It worked for Brad Bird, didn't it? :D

  • this is beautiful. i really do hope that one day we get to see your animations as feature movies from disney. they need someone like you, especially with all their recent, ahem, "films." :)

  • this is the-most amazing thing i have ever saw on youtube :D

you are amazing, I have to see it once it finished :)

  • wow this is simply breathtaking ^_^

I just started animating about 1.5 years ago... and like you, I've always wanted to work for Disney. After seeing your work, I think you're my newest inspiration lol.

i hope you reach your goal and work for Disney too.

  • Wow!!!!

I watched this video for most likely 1000 times and im still not fed up with it!

Your style in Lady Ice reminds me on Disneys Brother Bear. I think you are ment to be disneys animator XD

And I know it takes to make something like that, but when we will be able to see final version of Lady Ice???

Please make it as soon as posiblle!!

    HUGS XD

  • In a couple of months or so.

  • Sorry to comment again, but what is CTP an Premier? I can't find them anywhere!

    :(

  • CTP is Cartoon television program. google it up. it's a very old and simple program for animation. to be frank - today I prefer using after effects. and btw - after effects and premiere are adobe programs (like photoshop). go to adobe to see them.

  • Truly amazing! I want to study animation, I have never done anything like this before! o.o

I really want to learn! I love art and animation really interests me!

  • Amazing!

  • amazing

  • If I didn't read the info. I would have thought this was an up and coming Disney movie. This is truly amazing you need to work for them.

  • fdkj;lsdfaio;weakjl;fdskjdsfkl;jfdskljfdskljf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any ideas when you'll get to post the final version??? I'm sure you get askeda ll the time...but we want to see it!!!

  • In a few months I believe/hope. I'm at the stage of coloring now so it won't be long.

  • Excellent.

  • I have always been drawing and its my passion I want to be an animator so I can fulfill my dream. I dream that someday I will also animate like you do.

  • Many of us animators are being told to avoid Disney due to this ludicrous contract they have... but I'm going to go for the apprentice ship eventually. check out their website for details. I rather not post a link here.

  • AWESOME job on this video! I LOVE it!

  • You could so work for Disney! This is amazing, really beautiful. The style is really neat. It looks Disneyish, but is still, I dunno, your own. If this were to be a full length movie, I think it would be wonderful! I just totally, totally love this piece of stunning art! :D I also wish to work for Disney someday. Maybe as a drawer, maybe as a voice actress. Wow, this is just so amazing. It seems like I can't stop talking about it! :D Hope to see more of you in the future!

  • Incredible work, the style is beautiful, the transitioning very smooth, and the colored bits..just wow. Really amazing!

  • Oh wow.

  • really really great, you challenged your self a lot. especially having the snow lady's hair moving with out using animation loops

  • damn thats gd!!!! keep up the gd work!

  • This is really amazing....you've shown how hard work and believing in yourself will help you. Saw your work on Deviant Art and loved it - don't really go to Deviant Art a lot, but your work is amazing. Best of Luck and send this to EVERYONE you can.

  • its beautiful!!!!!

  • This is just wonderful. It really looks like it is from Disney. I wish you much succes with your goal. I too wish to work for them someday (maybe). But honestly, you sure seem to have much more talent than me, you deserve it ! :)

  • You HAVE To Finish This! I've Been Waiting Ages... xD

  • Wow very nice, Lady Ice looks a lot like Pocahontas to me and the mother reminds me of Lady Juliana and the son reminds me at times of Garret, were you inspired by QFC at all? I can't help but see a resemblence

Beautiful colours and music and sequences, so epic and awesome 5 stars

  • I just can't wait to watch this ^-^ Is there any due date set?

  • ok,,,so please finish this, what color and sketching is done makes it seem like it will be very good to watch... please keep up the good work

  • wow that was awsome :D your style look kinda like pocahontas :D

  • wow did you draw that by your? self its really good!!

  • wow you should really finish these they will look really good you could make a couple of bucks using these lol im subscribing

  • wooooooooow...

that was an amazing short film you have. 5 out of 5 stars. cant wait to see the final. you are an amazing artist

  • hm so for this piece did u really draw like 9000 frames? O_O

  • la animacion es correcta pero insípida, la asistencia y la intercalacion son perfectas pero el modelo es una mierda, la historia no es nada, mucho trabajo para un producto tan choto, no?

  • The animation is really nice, but some of the cuts are too fast and confusing. I had absolutely no idea what was going on for the entire last half of the film. I couldn't tell what character was which, where they were, and what they were doing.

That being said, the finished product looks ridiculously professional. I'm impressed!

  • Wow... You're really great! Wish I could do this stuff to :/ But we've got the same goal in life, so there's a chance we may meet there.

  • I agree with Mountain. I hope one day you get your dream to work for Disney. Maybe you can talk them into doing more traditional animation like they used to. Not that I mind Pixar but I would like to see more 2D.

  • So make sure you and your friends will go to see Disney's The Princess and the Frog. If it will be popular than 2D will definitely come back!!!!

  • You bet! I intend to.

  • So great. It reminds me of those old Disney movies. The animation was a lot different back then, and it was great.

  • Magnificent!

Originality and amazing style...you're efforts have really paid of. How close are you to finishing this? if you need any help give me a shout, I'm good at making tea.

PS I'd probably only be handy for the end credits though.

  • It will be done in a few months.

Thanks for the tea, I think I drink too much of it working all day in front of the computer...

  • Let me know if you need any fx work. That's where I specialize. Also if you want to a U.S. release I get get it voiced for you. Jim Panetta IkuZo! Studios.

  • thats just amazing! i cant wait to see it when its done!

  • BRAVO!

  • Oh my god, that was amazing.

    Absolutely terrific.

You have such a knack for art.

    Not a knack, a talent.

    I envy you.

  • this looks AMAZING

and I can't wait to see the finished version :]

  • omg this is soooo good. its like a real movie alrady

  • This is great!

  • WOW this is SO good!!!

  • The lady-made-of-ice reminds me of "The Snow Queen". Supposedly Disney is making it into a movie.

  • Very nice :D

  • woooow! That was amazing!! It must have taken a long time to make it. :o

  • You're a great talent! This is a masterpiece indeed! I hope you'll finish it and soon will be working at Disney or anywhere you like! Wish you good luck)))

3:59 - the colours are amasing!!!! Loved it!

  • aww man this is fantastic. i have watched this many times. i hope someday it becomes a movie.

  • this is awesome =]

how many pieces of paper did you use?

  • 5000 more or less, I don't know the exatct number.

  • I cannot wait for the finished one. This is SO INCREDIBLE!!

Hm. Is it already finished and you just haven't posted it yet? Or is it just not finished? Or did you give up?

  • It's not finished, else I would have posted it already, and I'm still working on it.

  • love it cant wait for final pice

  • Good job for your animated short film, lpdisney! ^^

  • wow. nothing else. just a very, very wow.

  • This is fantastic! I would totally watch this movie. I am in love with your artwork. My eyes are green with envy right now... :)

    Great job!

  • who's david kawena? How is he related to u? And ur real name is? Im confused~ btw....love ur artworks...they're awesome!

  • David Kawena is the alias of my X-partner for this project. He's real name is Shaul Dadon and I gave credit to the real name and not the alias. He dropped the project at an early stage (long and personal story) so I'm completing it on my own now. My real name IS Liron Peer and I think it's stupid to hide my real name because else I won't get publicity and that's what the internet is all about. Thank you for you compliments. :-)

  • Thanks

  • you're bloody good

  • wow all drawn by hand??

    ur really talented

  • lpdisney :What´s is the name of the song?

  • Emm... Lady Ice Them song?! It's an original work in progress music for the movie.

  • Someday He'll surpass Ol' Walt himself. This guys contemporary and Disney is old school. Good Job!

  • Only this "Guy" is a "Girl".

    :-)

    Thanks for the kind words.

  • You are amazing, I love your work! Someday, Disney will find you!

  • please, PLEASE work for disney. I miss these, disney classic kind of films. This is so amazing - I can't wait to see the final product~!

  • This is very impressive. I truly hope that you find a future in the industry.

  • what do u use to grab the frames?? what kind of camera? cuz i can do such things, just need to know how to record it and post it on computer!

  • I use a scanner. No camera can reach the quality of a scanner. And I scan through CTP, it's a program for classic animation. Please read more in the info I wrote.

  • Amazing. I hope you will sell high quality DVDs once you've finished it. I want one!

  • This is incredible! As an Animation student in the UK, I really struggle with keeping the body in proportion from frame to frame. Do you have any tips I could try?

  • Try using guide lines and make sure your key frames are perfect - this way your inbetween will also be good. Also study the character you draw very well before you animate her.

    hope I helped.

  • wow.. i'm wordless

    5*

  • Even if it took you another two years, that still will be incredibly fast for only one clean up and one animator. Though I wonder why you did not start with a certain popular animation program, that even Disney uses. (Though it costs $3,000)

  • Oh so lovely! I can tell you've put a lot of work into this, a lot of heart.

  • i made something like this, too... it took me about one day but yours is good, too 2 stars

JUST A JOKE: 5/5 of course!!!

  • well done arcitecture, did do it through second life????

  • Amazing work... Congratulations!!!

  • Wow! This is brilliant!

  • That's awesome! I hope, you'll be finishing this great film soon 'cause i'd like too see it in the cinema! Or in full HD @ home ;)

But creating such a film on the computer is not cheating. It's just another style :P

    Greetings from Germany
