I worked for 2 years at an animation company called "animated storyboards" doing flash animation. then I quit and worked as a freelancer for a couple of months. now I work for a new upcoming animation company called "4th dimension entertainment" with several interesting projects on the way.
I will admit, it's not easy finding a job in animation, but if you love it, don't give up!!!
I think in Luxembourg I'll have good chances to find a job in animation, but I don't know if they are very.... intersting. Bu at least it would be a job ^^

@x979023x regular printer paper. There should be a special paper for animation, but it's not sold here. so i did this on a regular 80gr size A3 paper (I like to draw on large paper). scanned it with an A3 scanner we had at school. but you can also do animation on regular A4 paper, I used that as well. good luck!

CTP is Cartoon television program. google it up. it's a very old and simple program for animation. to be frank - today I prefer using after effects. and btw - after effects and premiere are adobe programs (like photoshop). go to adobe to see them.

Wow very nice, Lady Ice looks a lot like Pocahontas to me and the mother reminds me of Lady Juliana and the son reminds me at times of Garret, were you inspired by QFC at all? I can't help but see a resemblence

The animation is really nice, but some of the cuts are too fast and confusing. I had absolutely no idea what was going on for the entire last half of the film. I couldn't tell what character was which, where they were, and what they were doing.
That being said, the finished product looks ridiculously professional. I'm impressed!
I agree with Mountain. I hope one day you get your dream to work for Disney. Maybe you can talk them into doing more traditional animation like they used to. Not that I mind Pixar but I would like to see more 2D.

I use a scanner. No camera can reach the quality of a scanner. And I scan through CTP, it's a program for classic animation. Please read more in the info I wrote.
This is incredible! As an Animation student in the UK, I really struggle with keeping the body in proportion from frame to frame. Do you have any tips I could try?
Try using guide lines and make sure your key frames are perfect - this way your inbetween will also be good. Also study the character you draw very well before you animate her.
Even if it took you another two years, that still will be incredibly fast for only one clean up and one animator. Though I wonder why you did not start with a certain popular animation program, that even Disney uses. (Though it costs $3,000)

Magnificent!
Originality and amazing style...you're efforts have really paid of. How close are you to finishing this? if you need any help give me a shout, I'm good at making tea.
PS I'd probably only be handy for the end credits though.

The lady-made-of-ice reminds me of "The Snow Queen". Supposedly Disney is making it into a movie.

David Kawena is the alias of my X-partner for this project. He's real name is Shaul Dadon and I gave credit to the real name and not the alias. He dropped the project at an early stage (long and personal story) so I'm completing it on my own now. My real name IS Liron Peer and I think it's stupid to hide my real name because else I won't get publicity and that's what the internet is all about. Thank you for you compliments. :-)

what do u use to grab the frames?? what kind of camera? cuz i can do such things, just need to know how to record it and post it on computer!

I use a scanner. No camera can reach the quality of a scanner. And I scan through CTP, it's a program for classic animation. Please read more in the info I wrote.

This is incredible! As an Animation student in the UK, I really struggle with keeping the body in proportion from frame to frame. Do you have any tips I could try?

Try using guide lines and make sure your key frames are perfect - this way your inbetween will also be good. Also study the character you draw very well before you animate her.

Even if it took you another two years, that still will be incredibly fast for only one clean up and one animator. Though I wonder why you did not start with a certain popular animation program, that even Disney uses. (Though it costs $3,000)
