  • Isn't it ironic how at 7:08, Christine starts to play that song? :P. And the book is SOOO much better :). Then again they always are :).

  • first of all learn to spell second thank u for ur opinion. some people prefer books some prefer movies. guess its all in who is doing the viewing and reading

  • the librarian at the start looks like Sylvester Stallone's mother

  • mrs cunningham & dennis want to have it off.

  • i dont like how arnie changes so fast in the movie

  • In the book Rita is his daughter.

  • Kelly Preston looks absolutely stunning in this.... wow

  • agreed they butchered the book as all movies based on books tend to do am i the only one that doesnt like arnies mom? even in the book i hated her but seeing her in the movie omg i want to punch her in the face

  • Movies rarely 'butchar' novels. You only think they do. It is inevitable that adapted screenplays will be a let down because in reading the novel you had to use your imagination, and that gives you a false sense of how good the narrative is. In reality, screenplays are actually better because they allow you to sit back and enjoy the narrative without the chore of flicking pages and going back over sentences to make sure you understood it.

  • @parttimelaver I see, but some adaptations looks better than others, it depends on how the book author writes, because some stories are more based on events description while others focuses on metal feelings.

  • Oh okay

  • Nothing like the book expect the names and a few scenes that is it.

  • @1998disco72 You right, the book is large but very better than the movie.

  • @1998disco72 You right, the book is large but very better than the movie. I felt like jumping the story. Some books' got good movies, others haven't.

  • The relations of the characters with each other is different in the book then in the movie, where the hell did the brother came from?

  • Christine at 7:25 looks creepy and menacing.

  • This movie is absolutely classic. They don't get any better than this.

  • If Christine killed his brother's family, why does that guy even have it?

  • @vodkagal28 In the book, the guy that sold the car was the same guy whose daughter and wife died because of Christine.

    The book makes more sense.

  • @vodkagal28 I think that he still has her because he doesn't know how to get rid of her, and he is moving so the car can't follow him. He would probably have given her away just to get rid of her. When he says that weeks later the car came back, it means that the car got back on her own and he is stuck with her until he can get someone else to take her.

  • @vodkagal28 Because he said she just shows up on her own.

  • Great, just great.

As if I don't already have enough trouble trying to figure out whether I want a '69 Charger or an '07 Porsche Cayman (similar price) but now I have to add a car with tail-fins to my want list. Imagine how cool it would be to show up to work everyday in a '57 "swept-wing" Dodge! I like the look of them better than the Fury in the movie.

  • @JETZcorp 59 Cadillac, bud! Oh yeah, you'll have to mortgage your house for one. :(

A 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible.. a beautiful piece of American history with wheels!

  • @williejenkins666 The Caddy is a true classic, but my ultimate '50s car is the '57 Chrysler 300C. Tastes vary of course, but I find it's much more tastefully-done than the Cadillac, and I'm a committed Mopar guy so I have a natural bias toward the Chrysler.

  • @JETZcorp I see a lot of wonderful old cars and being from the hometown of AMC I wouldn't mind getting behind the wheel of a AMX one day and wouldn't even be embarrassed to drive around town in a Gremlin. Hell, where I am ... you would get thumbs up all day long!

About a half a mile from me is a 1970 Challenger R/T (440 6 pack I think) in plum crazy purple... located under a weathered tarp and rotting for the past 20 years. What a shame.

  • christine looks so boss and ominous at the end of this clip!

  • Keep on knocking but ya' cant come in!

  • it wood have been better if the car was a 1959 cadillac

  • can anyone tell me are they definately remaking this movie?

  • its the best part of the film when nerdy arny rolls with the hot girl onto the field

  • Come to my prison, baby! Ooowie.

  • 8: 23

I'd love to ride his ass! and her ass too just before. Hmh.

  • Roberts Blossom, that old guy is a damn good actor!

  • Talk about brutal, how stupid does that Blonde in the Library feel?

  • How do they manage to screw up every single movie by a Stephen King book??

  • @martina180394 yes stephen king has a book

  • Is Moochie gay?

  • @bigbob1122 possibly...

  • wow! you know I get like adaptations from novels and the like, but, it's like they never read the book at all!! There is so much stuff wrong with this adaptation >.<

  • 07:09 lol

  • That '68 Charger is sweet......

  • LMAO

    7:12

Radio: "Keep on knockin' but ya can't come in!! Keep on knockin' but you can't come in!!"

    Guy:....WTF *jumps out window*

  • What did the old man mean when he said "the car came back 3 weeks later"?

  • @porn1978 It drove itself back.

  • @jacobbrown109 .....that sent chills up my spine lol..thanks

  • @jacobbrown109 That part creeped me out.

  • Isnt the old man at 5:29 in the creepy old man in Home Alone who saves Kevin at the end?? lol

  • READ THE BOOK !!! TOTALLY DIFFERENT ENDING!! BOOK IS BETTER!!! GREAT MOVIE THOUGH!!!

  • The scene where Dennis confronts the creepy old guy is very well...creepy, the way it is revealed that his brother's family all died in the car(as well as himself) is done very eerily(with the creepy music and all). I love creepy back stories. What a great scene!

  • christine=sexy

  • This movie wasnt bad but the book really was much better. The weird thing is they made changes that really didnt make sense. I think a remake that is closer to the book would be cool.

  • @mercmarc that was the best book that ive ever read. The way she killed Moochie or whatever his name was.. it was so awesome.

  • @blink182chickie91 Yep. She runs over Moochie several times in each directon and squashes him. Book said his remains looked like a scattered pile of rags. Blech. Must be fun being the coroner. Also said they found paint embedded into Moochie's skin.

I love the look on Malcolm ???'s (the actor who played moochie) face when he sees christine: confusion, shock and then fear.

  • HISTORY BORING???

    What a duchebag!!!!

  • i wish dennis beat the shit out of that fat cunt bully

  • Why are they chasing that brunette ? The blonde is 100 times hotter :S

  • @swanseajackthe3rd Because the blonde was easy, guys always want what they cant have.

  • CUNTINGHAM

  • haha the doors are locked and you cant come in

  • I like how the Car talks through using its radio, and playing tones that reflect Christines emotion like when she's angry or sad.

  • What's the name of the song at 7:10

  • @SentaiKota keep a knocki'n by little richard

  • the scene where you keep a knockin but you can't come in plays is hilarious !

  • @2:24 man. how could dennis turn that down???

  • don't tip the table over? haha damn she's not that cute. I think the blonde girl's better looking than her.

  • @daleboyrdm c/s. blonde girl has it on lock. 0:54 i woulda stopped right there

  • the book is way different, and way better. but this is really good too.

  • arnie is a badass but he is a dickhead

  • nice

  • @doraljordan

ummm no, leave the movie alone as is.

  • @doraljordan

Christine 2? What's the plot going to be, an evil Prius that accelerates without warning? lol

  • @mygoatisdead

    lol

  • john voigt's 82 Lebaron

  • @mygoatisdead Lmaoo! I think that would be pretty funny actually.

  • @mygoatisdead on Christine's Wikipedia page it states: It was announced by Platinum Dunes a remake of Christine and will directed by David Slade and produced by Brad Fuller, Platinum Dunes announced that will be released in 2011 in a 3D format.

  • @snaredrumking313 like to see that ......

  • @mygoatisdead

    Lol! pure gold.

  • @mygoatisdead there refilming the full movie again

  • @mygoatisdead LOL good one!!! Love it

  • @mygoatisdead I think that's Toyota

  • @mygoatisdead LOL!!

  • Christine became a cube at the end, how can that transform itself?

  • Anybody knows the family's car name?

  • @timmhg - Volvo

  • 1958 Plymouth Fury

    volvo ? lol

  • 1958 Plymouth Fury

  • If Dennis had been paying better Attention to the game instead of Arnie Cuntinghams Car, Dennis wouldnt have gotten hurt during the game!

  • i think nobady no what is is talking about

  • you know i hate people like this who hold out important details about things you might by or have lyin around that might be useful to tell others before just giving it way without being the wiser fool to say nothing at all.

  • 00:13-Roseanne (Kelly Preston) is more attractive than Leigh (Alexandra Paul). They should have switched the roles for this movie.Or,at least, not had Dennis ignore Roseanne the way he did.Roseanne really seemed to like Dennis. Most guys would jump at the chance to be with someone like her.Dennis is an idiot for ignoring her.

  • @idahopunk1965 I'll agree with you

  • @idahopunk1965 Yeah, you should go back in time and be a director. You're such a genius. Aren't you a little old to be making absurd comments on Youtube?

  • does lee ever died in the end i have not seen it all the way through so i was wondering

  • @kimber516 no she never died

  • Christine made Dennis get hurt on that play...

  • what you mean the car made him get hurt on that play i didnt see no signs of the car controlling him all i saw was him lookin at his friend makin out wit that gurl.

  • @johnnyblaze3131 You're a fucking retard. Can you speak english?

  • my parents named me after this movie!!! lol

  • that car is sexy! not many left in the world i'd imagine

  • No... they were using recycled metal from Japan then (Hiroshima??) and the 57-60 Forward Look cars rusted badly. Also had quality problems...

  • didn't they have front end shimmy problems too?

  • The ones that are left are now highly prized though, thanks in part to this film.

they do still crop up for sale from time to time on collector car websites, normally "dry" states where the cars wouldnt rust so bad (they were known for it back in the day)

I was looking at getting one but the cost of shipping to the uk was too much. you'd get a decent one (non-fury) for about $5-10000

  • It's so creepy how the car plays songs on its radio that are appropriate to the situation, like at 7:09! YIKES!

  • You keep on knocking but you can't come in.

Come back tomorrow night and try again.

    LOL!!!!!

Christine wants Denise to comeback tomorrow night and try again.

  • Thats the same oldman from Home Alone 1!

  • @jimbo8747 ...lol and he still had the same beard also...doesnt he ever shave..lmao

  • @jimbo8747 The Southbend Shovel Slayer

  • haha yeah it is! I was just write that until I saw you already wrote it

  • he just gong get a book and seat at her table and start talking about music

  • course the car came back three weeks later- best part.

  • 8:34 the fat kid sounds like a little kid, i know where he keeps it, lol

  • LOL

  • lol, 3:45, get off my back!

  • he was supposed to say bitch but they cut it out that's why it sounds s wierd when he sayes it

  • oh u mean at 3:45?

  • yea

  • 4:35 is she talkin bout...LeBay?

  • Yeah. They changed it around a bit from the book, in the book Roland LeBay dies of natural causes a few weeks after Arnie buys Christine, he's the one that sells it to him, not his brother George, His brother comes down for the funeral, but he's a 40-50 something schoolteacher. Rollie's young daughter choked to death in the car, then his wife committed suicide in it not long after. I don't know why they changed it, doesn't really change much. Stephen King movies, I swear LOL

  • the other GURL is like all over dennis but he wants the new gurl.....haha

  • in the book Rita was the little girl. His chid that died in Christine.

  • lol I know deep down Christine was laughing when she scared him off =D. i want a car like that!

  • so was it he was jealous or they saying the car had sumthing to do with the football game..

  • lawl I think it was just that christine didnt want to have to hurt him so she scared him away

  • I like Denis. He's cute with backbone and yet nice. I hope he doesn't die or nothin' and Arnies hot too, but not nice at all. lolz the song made me laugh too. This is like Herbie's evil sister. =p

  • he did the right thing and got the hell outta there

  • I love Dennis and Leigh. One of the best couples in literature. Stephen rocks!

  • The blonde girl is Kelly Preston, John Travolta's wife.

  • at 8:00 ... Team rocket yeaaaa!!!

  • that blonde girl is hot!

  • Lol, well done, the blode girl was "thinking" he was aiming for her...

  • keep on knocking but you cant come in! XD That made me Laugh!

  • woo loo loo

  • Roland LeBay's wife's name was VERONICA. His daughter was named Rita. Freakin' movie, why do they feel the need to change THAT.

  • its the movie what do you expect?

  • also the book he picked up is Christine.
