If you pay closer attention, you'll notice that, no it's not a bot. All the drones targeting 1 SCV of which you speak is not actually the drones targeting the SCV but rather the player selected around 10-12 drones and had them gather minerals from a patch in his expansion. Bots or computers are not programmed to do this. However, this is commonly seen in any game when the expansion is close to finishing.

Because in order to zoom in on the computer, the video must be captured. If they captured it while he played, there would be lag, and the lag would mess him up. When the camera zooms out, you can see him playing in first person.

a good way to do this is to first get them to go to one stack and as they are going towards it make 2 go to another. then assign them to individual ones. usually its pretty hard to do all of this before they get to the minerals unless you are rly pro

you don't need to shift click. Its faster to have all your scvs go to one mining patch then just make each of them go to a diff mineral along there way to that one mineral patch.

Although very helpful and informative, you can't rely on this tactic too much, after all, this was a mere demostration (you can tell the opponent was in on the plan too since there was no direct Muta harass). He is not trying to impress us with his apm. Newton - objects that are in motion tend to want to stay in motion. It's easier to give commands when you hand/mouse is consistently swaying and clicking rather than to keep your pointer idle, and then give a command. Go have a few boxing spar sessions and you'll get it. Darthmooman is a nub.

When you see at the start, he does not send all his SCV on one mineral, he spreads them from the start, you call this "cloning".

If you do it perfect, you gather faster minerals, so you can build faster an SCV.

For example, if you send all 4 SCV's to one Mineral, they will go there and spread out by themselves, till they are at one mineral each. So if you spread them out from the beginning by your own, you save some seconds and ofc gain faster minerals.

I hotkey my Barracks to 3 and 4, and hotkey my Command Center to 1. On the 21st SCV, build a Refinery. You should make Supply Depots whenever needed. On the 26th SCV, build an Academy. You should still be making marines. Your scouting SCV should stay alive and viewing your opponent is very important. When the Academy is complete, upgrade Stimpack, build up Medics, and make a Comsat. A Factory should be made soon.
