I'm really frustrated with Konami. Blackwings as a competitive deck is ok, but Crow and Black-winged Dragon make no sense. The writers had to add so many plot holes just to fit the two in. Crow is way more of a bland character than filler Yusei. Rewatching old episodes, how does Crow survive the black plague by hiding in a refrigerator? The first blackwings look as if they're birds of the underworld, much like Infernities. Crow took away screentime from Aki, Rua, Ruka, and other characters.

@xsaviour09 That's exactly what was going on. Every other Signer is revealed in the first fifteen episodes. The Mark is stated, over and over, to be in five parts. The show's flippin' name is "5"D's! Not 6D's, 5D's!

But noooo. You had to keep pumping out Blackwings. So you kick out three good characters to pump up one awful one, and all it does is make me get a bad taste in my mouth whenever I use Gale the Whirlwind.

Oh, and Black-Winged Dragon? Kinda sucks.

@yusei800 What that person is trying to say is that Rua was supposed to get Life Stream much earlier. In the earlier script, Crow was supposed to be a thief who knew Yusei and Jack. He wanted to steal Stardust and Red Dragon. Crow was supposed to become the 7th Dark Signer. However, Konami intervened because of sales of Blackwings and forced Shueisha to rewrite the script as Crow as a Signer. Rua was supposed to become a Signer by having a rematch with Bommer, not Crow.

@yusei800 I think him becoming a signer was more about unveiling Life Stream, especially as it had been shown several times throughout the anime, and not directly referenced, except once. they probably decided to make him a signer before the anime began tbh.

Cause in my opinion, the Time Lords are better...in fact, they should be the God cards of Yugioh 5ds, just like how the Sacred Beasts were the god cards in GX, and the Egyptian Gods from Yugioh!

But it would make no sense, as the examples you gave consisted only of 3 beasts per set. I haven't seen any Obelisk'ish, Ra'ish or Slyfer'ish beast in 5D's (wish there were some, thougth).
