  • OMG, this is beautifull..!.

  • Ah, the 60's. Even the camera was on drugs.

  • thanks man....!!!!

  • @PoorPoorComputer00 he was not tapping it is very common to have the B string ring while hammering on and pulling off on the E string he was just muting all the strings except the high E

  • did they record this with a toaster...?

  • This is the Isle of Fehrman..I believe September 6 1970 about a week and a half before he died.

  • Hey I Watched! I Like Jimi He Was On Of My Favorite When I Was Young! He Were Already R-I-P Dead When I Started Listen Him But Nowadays I Really Like Understand Whats Going On And Who Can Play Lovely Guitar Sounds! Of Choose I Love Jimi's Works! I'm Just Only An Experimental Guitar Player Who Sing Feelings From My Soul And At The Moment I Looking For People Join To My Band Project! Thank You For Adding Videos Here! I Love Jimi's Music! I Give Thumbs Up! All The Best For Everybody! Feels By Assa!

  • Thank you for sharing this with the world, wish i was there.....

  • I nearly cried watching this. THANK YOU so much for sharing it :)

  • Not much footage of those days cameras were not so good and people where very stoned...lol

  • wow!love this video.

    Thanx.

  • Holy crap Hendrix is tapping! I know I saw it!

  • this is almost like something from a dream, like looking into a murky crystal ball at years of yore.....god bless hendrix, and the sound is still quite awesome.

  • Thank You, technology;

  • this man was a fuckin musical genius! his intelligence and creativity wasnt expressed via words but via frequencies. his sound moved the spirit. he fuckin elevated your mind body and soul. the notes he played were that of stringing a harp on a heavenly cloud amongst a smooth breeze and at times stringing a harp on top of a violent twister thats shredding absolute beautiful destruction down below. we miss you brother! we will be one again soon enough. til then...

    REST IN ETERNAL PEACE

  • This is probably the first ever bootleg video shot with sound.

  • thanks i see the quality on this is gettin better on this tape ! cool , now we need the full show in color and mint , i dream BIG ! al

  • its not rare anymore

  • at 3:35, jimi's guitar was bursting with electricity. that's how awesome he played.

  • Hey Hendrix fans, better save this now, before the Business Conglomerate removes it., like they did with the amazing Machine Gun from 1-1-70 in B&W. They may have a small amount of similar DNA, but they don't understand Jimi at all. He would not charge people for watching Him play His guitar, which he loved to do for our souls. Sure it's legal, but hey it's not like Jimi is getting any of the money ! If he were alive today, he'd be apalled. He lives on in our hearts and years. Long live Jimi !!

  • @MayThisBeLurve Thanks for the info and the post I didn't know that about Jimi. Now i got to look deeper into it.

  • amazing how fast we got tech advanced,

  • 31/08/70 would have been a day after The Isle of Wight Festival.

  • I don't think this was film, more likely an early B&W 1/2" reel to reel video. The drop-outs and other imperfections are unique to video.

  • Thanks so much for putting this up. Amazing

  • It's just like when Kennedy was shot the part missing in the film is when the car went behind the sign old jimi footage is the same you get a little but you miss a lot

  • fuck the opening guitar is amazing. that truly is hendrix, so versatile. he could go from gently wooing the guitar and making it sing to making it scream

  • 3:17

  • awesome!

  • AWESOME

  • THANK GOD , SEE YA , AL

  • Omg.. actual footage.

  • hey dannyhood66, sounds like you are old school like me these jerks who call this video shit are shit if they were into JIMI like we are they would see the brillance & magic here !

  • mr Kite ,you sound like the kind of friend I WOULD LIKE to talkabout &share some rare photos ,music & memories & of a personal interview i got to sit & chat with BILLY COX,as he lives in Nashville as do I P.S do you have the other 3 songs that were recorded by Eric Seagal & Dave Van Dijk songs include Come On pt 1,Room full of Mirrors,Hey Baby ,In from the Storm .and to all of you who put this video down you dont know shit about Jimi or his music this video is a last glimpse of a GOD!

  • I have waited years to finally see this footage of Stockholm 70 ,dispite the quality the magic shines through anyway thankyou very much for sharing this gem with us. by the way I think this show was a little better than its predacesor Isle of Wight

  • I wish i had a time machine,'' I would most likely take to much hallucinogen and just stay

    there..

  • Don't you think is funny how all of this Jimi Hendrix "rare videos" all look and sound like shit!!

  • @boxingin That's cause if jimi was playing best the camera guy would fuck it up..Or the best looking film will have no sound..That's how life works a lot of times..You cant win for loosing..Like sierra Nevada 4000 year old trees that are so huge,''old age or mother nature will make them fall one day and nobody's there too see it..Yet the tree still falls as any waterfall in Wichita falls or any where else on this grassy green with majestic silver seas planet..With its misguided inhabitants.

  • @dannyhood66 Thanks.... I think a tree just fell in my back yard let me go and check.

  • i dig this

  • holy shit i didnt think video was around

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • sin importar la calidad del video, y sin muchas pretencione, que se puede decir del dios de la guitarra...

  • Excellent! Thanks!

  • At 3.36 it almost looks like he is tapping! Nah..just a pull off right?

  • @stratdoc I see what you're talking about, but on his left hand, the finger was just siting on the frets, and he pulled of with his right, so yes, it's a pull off. But maybe this is where the tapping concept came from?

  • is there any way to download this or anyother of his videos?

  • What song is it that starts @ 7:23 ? sounds friggin awesome

  • @tatzor

    In from the storm

  • Ah yes....the August 31,1970 Stockholm show. Thanks for this.

  • thanks ~i love this man

  • Enjoyed this... very cool, rare, and personal...

  • MrKite64,

You weren't BS'in, this is rare. Did you film this?

  • JIMI was CHEROKEE we played alot alike even before i ever heard any recording of him I am CHEROKEEEEEE OLD BRO AND THE ANCESTORS the future was here did ya see it JIMI did

  • Sounds like he's bored in studio jamming with Mitch and Billy cox..In front of 50 people or something..Never the less precious footage..

  • i dont really care how shitty the quality is

but to a Hendrix fan there is no "too low quality"

  • @RickybLSD true.

  • @RickybLSD word.

  • @RickybLSD Yeah man, I think sometimes it even adds a sort of unique mystic atmosphere, kind of like like the crackle in the old Robert Johnson recordings.

  • I count at least 5 Marshall stacks; 3 behind Jimi and 2 near Billy. Damn....

  • Jimi played with as many as 10 Marshall stacks behind him. LOUD as hell.

  • according to the book "BLACK GOLD", this is the only known footage to have surfaced from this concert. the book said it was filmed by two brothers, (as in siblings, not race)their last name i forget.

  • "Wonderful" camera work as usual at Hendrix concert.....

It´s just too bad EVERY guy with a camera in hand seemed to be on crack ! I´m dying to see some good footage...

  • @MajorTim99

Jimi's airwaves were jacking up the transmission.

  • this is the sickess hey baby as well as the rainbow bridge thing in hawaii

  • *****(5)*****

  • yes.stora, scenen, grona lund, tivoli garden,stockholm,8-31-70.partly videotaped.those are flowers you can see around the stage.a garden setting.what an ethereal venue.only 19 days before his death.

  • pretty sure this is authentic .8-31-1970.stora scenin, grona lund, tivoli garden, stocholm.did not know any footage existed.you can see eric barrett his road manager at the end.

  • thanks for that info man

  • Ok. you guys are right. I did not look closley enough. My bad. I might have had too much drink that day

  • hey blaze 34, it billy cox on bass guitar on Jimis left, noel had quit the band by this point.

  • thanks for the dank footage

  • its actually videotape not film and by 12mm you probably mean the 1/2" reel-to-reel b/w videotape. Thanks for the time travel :)

  • Mike I really hope that was a joke... i've never seen two guitars on stage either!

  • This vidoe is fake. There is a guitar player on the right at one point and another on the left.

  • LOL THATS A BASS DUMBASS.

  • heading towards the ship that sailed away for a thousand years......... sail on , sail on, great spirit.

    nuff said.

  • I thought this was from tivoli gardens in stockholm

  • It is! I still have it on VHS tape. He played a few songs that were recorded both on audio and videotape. I remember on one of the songs he looks at the videographer and ask if he wants to come up and play.

  • AMAZING!

    Thanks for the post Mr.Kite64.

    the occasion

  • @BeenBad4U well she must of spent a fortune cos its like a flower shop..you can see jimi having trouble looking for his pedals because the flowers are in the way.

  • @BeenBad4U Did Jimi have a son? I never heard him say anything about a kid. If he really does have a kid could you let me know more about him? thank's.

  • @revnasteewaters57 Google: James Henrik Daniel Sundquist (Jimi's Swedish son born c1969) and

Tamika Laurice James (his American daughter born 2/11/67)... both born out of wedlock, acknowledged by Jimi but then shunned by his estate...
