I plan to make this little web series called "Experimenting with the Tube", and it's just these popular or well-known YouTube videos edited to make 'em say different things. Ummm.... would you mind terribly if I used some of the hippie's words for the Pilot Experiment?
I stumbled across your channel today. I actually have this video on my computer from when I downloaded it off your site several years ago. I saw it when it originally "aired" at the film festival. It made me miss Juneau terribly, and of course I laughed. I used to live out N. Douglas, but I was a downtowner. Thanks so much for posting it!
I lived in Juneau for 5 yrs ,i lived in the valley ,always hiked east and west glacier trails, and spent my weekends downtown with my musician freinds playin at the local taverns, lots of good weed ,but very expensive,The Christian angle of Juneau is a JOKE dont they realize we made God ,loved night hiking the mining ruins and endless hrs on perserverance.I live in Canada now ...i miss Juneau,my heart is there...Nigelingus
someday's i like to live here and sometimes i don't, but anyway's i think that valley you get left alone more and when you go downtown there is alway's people, well duh but the point i'm trying to make is if you get alone with people than go downtown if not buy a house and stay in the valley! muhahaha
Hey, that was great! My name is Eleanor Koenig and I lived in Juneau a long time, and I miss All my friends. In the valley and the downtown area. Now I live in Marquette MI. just one thing I did'nt like the one swear word that the one girl said, but other than that It was funny! Ellie.
I believe that state capitol was described as looking like the average motor vehicles department of most lower 48 states :) It was Mark Russell who said that in a pbs one hour program.
I used have a vhs of that Mark Russell hour but made the mistake of loaning it to a friend who prompted lost it. So a new one has been built. We did see an image of the one he spoke of and it sure looked like a motor vehicle hq or a small insurance building. I wish I hadn't loaned that vhs because some bits would have been great for youtube :)

Ugh, so glad I finally moved away from Juneau...
The major battle is between the treehugers and the rednecks... The latter have been losing that war for a number of years...

This is GREAT! But . . . we all know the place to go is beautiful downtown North Tee Harbor! It's quiet . . . scenic . . . and almost snow free!

c6h8n2, Tee Harbor is a great little hideout! I'm envious.

granskare,
Yep, the capitol building is pretty impressive. They tried to have a design competition in 2004 to build a new one but it didn't work out so well.
