cool, i've always tried to have my TV positioned in front of a downlighter on the wall, always thought it made things look better but didn't realise it was kind of a known and accepted effect.

Why is everyone complaining about the lightbulb burning down the house...its the same as if the lightbulb were being used on the side of a desk. No big deal, some guy just found a clever way to make his own ambient light...this is good for people who cannot afford to buy every gadget. I do not fit into this catg. but I can see it helping those who can't afford it.

Better choose LED lights to avoid heat, and you can mount them on the side of the display
