  • NAPOLEODION MAT

  • ...White's 3 Qh5 is a poor move...you won't ever see it in serious games between masters. it relies on Black making a worse move. One refutation of 3 Qh5 is g6, shielding f7 and chasing the exposed queen.

  • he just told us our uncles are retards..

  • I remember discovering this by myself and thinking that I was a prodigy lol.

  • weak ! ^^

  • im no pro chess player but,why would the player even move the first knight to f3? thats just a waste of a move... the bishop can only attack the pond at c2. and why move the second knight to c3? why not just move th pond from b2 to b3? the pond would be backed by the other pond at c2...

  • @magmanthony no because the queen is backed by the bishop

  • thanks

  • Won't the king eat you?

  • @magmanthony bishops protecting it. the king can't walk into check

  • only a super noob would play as black like that >.<

  • .... a grandmaster showing us this ridiculous fools mate... What do he think we are?? 800 rating? Monkeys?

Either you have never tried chess before, or you're very stupid if you fall for this ._.

And very stupid if you try to do this on a decent player. Bringing the queen out that early is a terrible mistake, and will make you waste lots of moves as it will be chased around

  • they chickity-checked themselves, when they wrecked themselves

  • I tried that move on my Grandad before I took an arrow to the knee.

  • i happen to be a chess master and i could do a 2 move checkmate in my sleep

  • Is 1500 novice?

  • iv never seen or thought of these four moves by myself when i was 4 ever in my life... thanks for sharing because nobody knows about this!!! BY THE WAY I WAS BEING SARCASTIC

  • Aren't the king and queen supposed to be on opposite sides?

  • i like the move but is too cheap.and i hate when people do that move

  • ive heard of a checkmate in 2 --> but be quiet and keep it for youself

  • @Tulpenkrem1 thts impossible... thered be no way to get any peices close enough. Unless you mean 2 moves per person.

  • @Dubzoid A checkmate in two moves is possible. It is a two move checkmate for black. It is a three move checkmate for white. However, the opponent would have to make two ridiculous pawn moves to start the game. The two move checkmate is called "Fool's Mate". I don't know what the three move checkmate is called.

  • @764dak Yes I know that. I thought he meant 2 move checkmate as in white 1 move, black 1 move. If he's talking about fool's mate then it's possible; my friend showed me it.

  • @Dubzoid 1. f4 e6 2. g4 Qh4# lol

  • And what are the chances they do those moves.

  • @Joedidyjoe Hurr durr herp derp

  • @Joedidyjoe ....i went to a chess tournament today.

  • Damn, I thought I had invented this move... named it and everything.

  • but can't the king eat the queen

  • @123roundtable123 can't because of the bishop

  • @UnitedFan821 oh! thanks

  • So many 1300 and below try this online...

  • @herpderpmonkey Yeah, right :D Love this against the sicilian.

  • fake

  • @SRDTL its not fake haha

  • @SRDTL It's not fake - I've won many a chess game like this. It certainly shuts them up as well! =P

  • But what if the opponent DOESN'T move that space open? Or does it not matter? It look like it really didn't matter.

  • @NoNickname9090 that's why its also good to know it so you can recognize it, so you don't look like a fool for not preventing this defeat.

  • @TreyIsAHuman

    very good

  • this may work against people that dont take a moment to think about waht the enemies move acomplished but most people would see or at least wonder why the enemy moved his queen out do early

  • hei, we dont know how the people think right?

if they more other ways how?

  • No king can take queen

  • @jagofett78studios No, you can't move into check, and there's the bishop

  • wait, what if the opponent doesnt do those moves... would you still win???

  • @Error404AccessDenied No, the opponent will only lose if they he doesnt see what you're trying to do. When he doesnt do something about the bishop and queen attacking that position, then he will lose.

  • @Error404AccessDenied No. There are a certain set of moves that this beats. If the black (PIECES) player were to move a pawn in the way of the queen or a piece in the path of the bishop, it would not work.

  • @Error404AccessDenied no you idiot

  • This is way below amateur. This info is useless, any smart person should know this if they can play chess, without even being taught.

  • checkmate in four moves... if your opponent is playing for the first time

  • well the black one was very stupid.

  • Jajaja El pastor!

  • Very Old

  • exellent

  • g6! => Fail with your move...

  • @Elektro0 But then the bishop will kill the king.

  • @Elektro0 check mate actually, look at where that bishop is when the king takes the queen. idiot.

  • @rushinblue Hey fuck you. I played these moves to Mac Chess and the computer knew its shit. Now the fact of the matter is, the black's moves were different. This is invalid to playing against a computer. Sure it's a checkmate if THOSE moves are made. Prick.

  • g7-g6 in preparation for a fiancetto. This comes at tempo which will give you an extra move. If White is dumb enough to make such a move this means he's a retard and his pretend four-move-mate will back fire and you'll probably mate him within twenty moves.

Guys like this are pre-meal snacks.

  • Well obviously it's easy when you play against yourself!

  • G7-F7 duh...

  • Lol, this is ridiculous. Why are you even showing this to beginners? I have chesstudents who play this opening over and over again, thanks to YOU. Their parents have seen this video, and have teached their children this ridiculous opening. This is just so bad, omg.

  • its unreasonable to assume the opponent will move as haphazardly as displayed.

  • this was the first trick i ever learned. but it´s amazing how many "players" don´t know it. i won a lot of beers and stuff with it.

  • Instead of moving the queen to A3, move her to C7 - away from danger.

  • @katze piano it cannot bcuz the bishop is in the way .. 4 move victory or as i know it ... herdersmat.. fucking pwnage

  • I see many say this is bullshit..do someone need to win with this opening so it can turn into a real deal?

  • in poland kids knows that moves ! hahaha

  • And if your opponent makes the other 19 moves instead?

  • I made a video about how to block this @ my channel

  • i like when hes said you could try to SHUT THEM UP ha ha ha

  • that's fool mate! Phe...

  • 9c!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Be careful with this though .. on the flip side there's a Queen trap move. That aggressive Queen can be taken if the 4 move mate is caught early enough. The key moves for defending this are .. instead of Black knight to c6 .. move Black Pawn to B6. After White Queen goes to A5.. Black moves left knight to A6. .. defending the checkmate at F7. If White Queen doesn't retreat at that point.. it's a wrap for her. She's gone.

I'll let you guys figure out the next move.. for the white Queen capture.

  • @CrippledScience lol explain again what u mean 1. e4 e5 2. Bc4 then u mean 2... b6, u sure u don't mean 2... g6 so white cant 3 Qh5 bcause of pawn in the way?? i think ur confusing, write the moves up in readable format plz

  • in only four moves?thats bloody outrageous mate.

  • But the King could take the queen...

  • y cant the king attack the queen!

  • @MrSharan1997 Cuz the bishop is in line of fire, and you can't check yo'self

  • @martines184 tnx..

  • @MrSharan1997 because if the king eats the queen it will eat by the bishop, dont be douchebag this move is very effective for checkmate!

  • @MrSharan1997 Cos if he does hes open for the bishop to kill him

  • yea.. incredibly easy to counter...

  • NOOB

  • Ya, I just go with my strategy. Try what I can and hope I win :)

  • one big problem with this checkmate is if Black plays Qd7 on move 3 then the trap does not work or even if he plays Nf6 rather than Nc6 then the trap does not work.

ps I Qe7 rather Qd7 is block by pawn

  • one big problem with this checkmate is if Black plays Qd7 on move 3 then the trap does not work or even if he plays Nf6 rather than Nc6 then the trap does not work

  • @cpapa18

Pmsl, just because someone who's British uploads shit instructional videos doesn't mean every British person is incapable of doing so......

So I guess with your logic, everyone one in your country is a dick because your are??

Dooche bag, the only one who needs to leave this world is you.

  • Too much camera work... This was one of my first weapons as a novice chess player.

  • or... for that last move... someone could move the soldier up 1 in front of the queen and then she would have to move back... stupid british people with ur unlogical rationale just all of u die and leave this world alone. a british person trying to make an instructional video is like a french person making an anti-smoking commercial... it just doesnt work.

  • Doesnt work anymore

  • Actually queens are supposed to be on their own color.

  • wow...awesome! I used this against my 5 year old son...he totally didn't expect that. didn't work with my 7 year old daughter though...

  • Its Heath Ledger! Because he has the scars on his lips

  • brilliant and yet so simple! all I have to do is get my opponent to make those EXACT moves, and I've got him beat! haha!

  • king's are on the wrong side, it has to be on its own colour not cheek mate mate ;)

  • @BuffaloBreathe Except queens go on their own colors, not kings.

  • @BuffaloBreathe are u dumb or? white queen on white field, black queen on black. jeez

  • But the king goes diagonally to attack the queen, so it's not a checkmate.

  • @Bielawaable u forget the bishop, sir..

  • @Bielawaable there's a bishop

  • @Andrei204 Yes I saw it :)

  • I Don't Think The If You Played With a Random Guy You Would Win Like That!! :p

  • Stupid as hell how is ur opponent suppose to do those moves exactly

  • @straightforwardguy42 its not stupid to know this, but yeah, the likelihood of achieving it in four moves is quite slim

  • chuck norris just looks at the opponents king until it starts sweeting then it starts to pant and just dissolves into thin air thats right not just any air but thin air

  • Ha i beat the computer!

  • bullshit

  • chuck norris doesn't even need to make 1 move.....he only looks at the check

  • chuck norris can get check mate in 1 move

  • i won a game of checkers without taking or losing a piece

  • i got it in 2

  • wow, i thought it was a comerical so i skipped lol

  • yea now who the fuck is going to be stupid and play the black piece moves that you did.....this is bullshit

  • apparently, chuck norris won this game without a king...

  • well, if you're uncle, or father, or grandfather is a monkey, you win.

If he's not a monkey, better learn a good strategy like the king's or the queen's gambit or something like that.

If you win, you win. If you lose, you lose with dignity, not with this plain strategy

  • Chuck Norris would win with a single move.

  • ok what will shut u up?

  • u can get mate in 3 moves, but only if the person ur playing is a retard

  • Yeah but who's gonna be dumb enough to fall for this shit.

  • U can tell someone sucks when they try this weak ass move! I'll thrash you all over the chess board then send u home to momma

  • @dsnizal People always say that. I open with this move KNOWING it's not gonna work. But I have a backup plan. This move simply throws them off and makes them think I'm going for the easy win. Maybe I'll bump into you on chess.com sometime, see how good you are.

  • There is a far better way of getting mate in as many moves than this one

  • No one is going to be stupid enough to do this you guys think your all smart with your 4 move checkmate but when your playing against someone it won't work. What a waste of time

  • Comment removed

  • u do a really predictable move.. u can just jam ur pieces at ur side.... and then attack <_< FOOLISH

  • why not coming with the queen first?if then the want to get rit of the queen you can simple take the pion.

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior the queen can move in any direction and has the king in checkmate since the bishop is covering.

The Kings are in the correct place as the queens are positioned on their own colours opposite each other, position D1 for white queen (on her white square) and D8 for Black queen (on her black square)

  • His kings are directly across from each other on the board. That's not right.

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior nope, hes got the setup right, simple rule is "white queen on white square, black queen on black square" and the kings will obviously be next to them

  • I'm sorry but this is a fail video. That does not leave your opponent in check mate. If you look at it very carefully, you'll notice that the piece he puts in "check mate" is the queen.

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior no lol if you look closer you'll see it IS the king -___-

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior If you knew chess, you'd know that the queen sits her pretty little ass on her own color at the beginning of the game.

  • @UxDarkGhostxU Since you play then you should know that the King does not belong directly across from the other king, it wouldn't be symmetrical, you dumbass.

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior When was the last time you played chess? Just set up my chessboard. Kings are opposite. Pawn to e4, Pawn to e5 openings. Both pawns are infront of the king.

  • @PureAlbanianWarrior what are you talking about the queens are supposed to be on thier colors those are the rules, that means white queen on white black on black so the kings would be directly across from one another

  • @bigfatAMERICANbastard, yes, the skill of a chess player must depend on his knowing the arbitrary nomenclature that you learned. Nevermind that this can vary from region to region via the telephone effect, among other reasons.

  • what retard would play nf6.

  • there are many ways to stop this happening

  • black has a good response to that queen invasion, leaving white at a positional disadvantage, making white lose tempo.

why would a champion recommend this ridiculous opening.

  • @ourtortsystem "Well he clearly states that "if you have annoying relative, you COULD try to shut them with this"

Not really a serious recommendation is it?

  • @pedarikarhu Failing that, just pick up the board and whack them with it.

  • @ourtortsystem To use it against an annoying grandfather, as stated quite clearly :P

  • @ourtortsystem yeah i tied this 4 move checkmate with my father but he moved he`s pawn in the way and i failed!

  • @ourtortsystem

    One word Dude

    "MONEY"

  • @ourtortsystem Because as he explained its basically a parlour trick to shut someone up , not a serious strategy

  • but why does black have to move their right knight, or their pawn to e5? Must they make those moves for you to win or can they make any move?

  • @ExpertiseGamerThey have to make those moves, or any move that doesn't block the bishop's attack on e5, because that needs to be established in order to cover your Queen. If they were a smart player, they would move the pawn in front of their knight forward one square to both block and threaten your queen, or do something else that directly counteracts what you're doing. Most amateur players tend to focus on their own actions, paying little attention to their opponent unless they get in the way.

  • I like how he says 'You could try to shut them up' very casually.

  • The only problem is the opponent's king kills your queen immediately after your check.

  • @DrWatsonPostmortem he cant take with the king, the bishop defends

  • @DrWatsonPostmortem lol hence the bishop protecting the queen

  • Nvm

  • Um u didn't win yet...

  • This is the author of so many great chess books...

Why on earth would he post such a stupid video??

  • Scholars Mate! good trap to teach to little kings. Hikaru Nakamura used to play this opening against GMs a few years ago, but he's gotten a little more serious lately. By the way, GM Aagard writes awesome chess books

  • that's a retarded move my 7 years old niece don't fell for this so how am i suppose to beat anyone who can play with this

  • that doesn't work for me, they always move that pawn to attack the bishop instead of the knight. I have beat maybe two people with that trick.

  • @bilingualtech You can take an extra turn to kill the pawn with the bishop. It may let the opponent move one more piece, but if you are lucky you can still checkmate it in 5 moves.

  • Never have I once found someone who actually fell for this.

  • @happymojo108 lol XDDD

  • ...If your playing against a retard.

  • you can acctually do it in 2 turns

  • @mitchell6489 only if the other person is WILING to do it. can't happen by chance
