Oops, I just barely noticed my typo LOL. (dispenser) I work at Mcdonalds as a partime employee. My real job is somewhere else. I make good enough pay but there is a project that I want to do and it is going to cost me some money. Working at Mcdonalds is just something that I need to do for a while.
I started working at mcd almost two years ago and I still love it. If you want you can be a manager within half a year! Not me, cause I talk too much.. but its possible! But I do work at mcd in the netherlands so i dont know what its like in america and stuff? But my manager said that if you can last a year working at mcd and you put it on your résumé and you apply at for example a restaurant they will probaply hire you because (in general) mcd has very strict rules about hygiene.

I am stuck working at mcd's because i failed to get a job, internship, or volunteer during school, so I have almost nothing related to work experience. I am at mcd to gain work experience, to gain connections, a network of people that can be my references when i look for work elsewhere. By getting work experience, I will be a lot more likely to get a better job later on than I am now, plus school makes you smarter

Just make the best of it. Move to a smaller apartment, don't pay for much. Look up these guides and recipes online for eating for less than like $10 a day. Etc. Or move in with someone to get settled.

I'm 20 and starting a job at mcdonalds next week. Unfortunately I live in the state with the worst unemployment so that's all I could find for the time being. I'm not a underachiever or whatever you people are calling people who work at mcdonalds. You can't find a freaking $10+ hour job here. Its just not possible unless you have experience.
