Brendon Small said it was cancelled because it was hard to market, It moved around several channels, people didn't know what it was(is it a kid show? Is it an adult show?) And sadly it came to an end.

Dethklok is hilarious, and nothing beats the simpsons....but Home Movies is the best cancelled show of all time.

@JesseUrbin This show wasnt cancelled, it ran its full course... in the last episode, Focus Grill, in season 4, they all have matured to the point where, as kids do, they decide they've grown bored of making movies, and quit... that is the series finale of home movies, as was intended... the show cant go on anymore if the kids are no longer making "Home Movies" right?

I don't think it was canceled but it wasn't renewed by adult swim- there were some unfinished story lines. They decide to keep making movies for the sake of making movies but not to show them to anyone- but then Brendon's camera is destroyed. I miss the show but it ended on a high note. (plus some shows just get worse with more seasons- *cough* simpsons *cough* and I'm glad this didn't happen to Home Movies.
