For a heli this size to have both main and tail rotors driven by the same motor and yet be so stable, a helicommand would obvioulsly need to be integrated into the circuitry. It would be interesting if Walkera plan on doing this later on.

this heli has 2 motors one big and in the back one small which i broke and i ordered 3 more like it , its only 7 $ a tail motor :)

I doubt we will have any mini belt driven heli's for quite a while yet, needs a stronger boom, pitch collective on the rear and the servo to do this.

When you have a good swash plate up front, the sub par rear motor driven fan isn't too bad imo. (for smaller helis I mean).

Its just that I've listened to people speaking bad about tail rotor motors saying they tend to burn out. BTW, I was thinking more of a gear driven tail rotor with a pitch servo.

The negative isn't just that they can "burn out", although cheap to replace.

It's that the response from a servo driven rotor pitch is much better than relying on the little motor to be able to change speed fast enough. You can't "slow" it down, you have to just wait for it to slow.

Hovering in one spot is impressive as micro helis like these are hard to control and very squirrely

they are not stable at all and looks like he did some work to be able to make it really stable

I found the 4-3b to be very stable out of the box which amazed me because the origional 4-3 is a pig to fly.
