Nostalgia I guess. I have Tiger, and I wouldn't go near Leopard with a 50ft cattle prod because it's an utter mess. Let's hope Snow Leopard turns everything around like Apple says it does.

Only some versions of OS7 were BW. It was later released again in color.

NO Way! Only on B/W Macs it was only in B/W! Evry Version of System 6 or 7 could be run in colour as well!

No it wasn't. Nor was System 6 (starting with 6.0.8). A lot of low-end macs were B&W though.
