I have N 85 from 6 days already. It's the best phone I ever had. The pictures are brilliant, the colours are trully amazing,and I use a lot the FM transmitter. It's better than N 96 from the battery perspective: 3 days at N 85, just 1 day at N 96. Excellent phone!!!

Depends on whether you want a full qwerty keyboard or a slightly better camera really... OS is the same on both. It's just S60, so both have the same functionality in terms of software.

E71 has a QWERTY keyboard, the others do not. This is what made me get a E71 over all the Nokias featured. Plus the E71 has a much larger capacity battery 1500mAh compared to 950mAh of the N95/96.

I find that the E71 can last a couple of working days before needing charging. The original N95 I had couldn't even make it thru a single working day without running flat.

Why even buy an N95 now the N85 is available? The brand new N85 is better than the nearly two year old N95 but falls slightly short in features of the N96. Also, the N85 and N95 take different batteries, and the N85 is more economical because it has an OLED (not a TFT) screen.
