Some Fun with The Virginian Cast ~ Sept. 2010

@Juliaflo Yes, Doug is sadly missed at these events, although they never forget him and Barbara Luna (his second wife) did a great job telling stories about him in Memphis this year. The Virginian Posse, of which I am a member, all cheered every time Doug came up in the opening credits to introduce the cast members. It was great to meet Jim and Carl Ann Drury again, and Gary, Roberta, Randy and Don Quine for the first time. Gary is very funny, but the others were,too.

We saw and met the cast at the camel races, and just loved their company, have to say Jim, Gary, Roberta, and Randy were so obliging with the ever ending stream of questions from us all. Gary in particular kept us in stitches with his stories, and Roberta was just a precious. Can honestly say they made our trip to Virginia city completely worthwhile.
