President Obama is doing wonderful work. It's been a rough first year because of the initiatives that he's chosen to undertake, but he was successful with it. Now for the first time since the economy collapsed due too the Bush administration we have gained jobs due too President Obama's success' as president. President Obama is doing wonderful work. It's been a rough first year because of the initiatives that he's chosen to undertake, but he was successful with it. Now for the first time since the economy collapsed due too the Bush administration we have gained jobs due too President Obama's success' as president. Despite the evidence Republicans will still choose to deny it just because they simply don't want him to succeed. Thank you Mr. President... things are slowly getting better.

@Armigerous :) there is massive social infrastructure that is the reason for so many people's well-being, including your own. talking about paying your own hospital bills, when getting to the hospital depends on roads, when general safety is thanks to the police force, when some of those doctors come from poor families that could have never afforded an education if it were not part of the infrastructure...
i understand your concern, but i don't see infrastructure of this kind as harmful

@Techra It isn't 'insurance' if insurers have to cover pre-existing conditions...premiums are based on actuarial figures,and shared risk...that would remove the risk...and would make premiums soar as a result...if insurers weren't legally prohibited from competing with each other across state lines,you might have a point about lowering premiums...but they are...so you don't

@Armigerous well, CBO says premiums will go down, and their guess is much better than either of ours. the effect of the mandate in terms of risk is basically putting all the healthier people into the system. they're healthier so they won't use the system as much and they will be putting in more than their share of money. but when they get older they'll be relying on the youngins themselves
"adverse selection" is the term for what the cause of "skyrocketing" premiums is. this law removes that

Census jobs are not "created jobs". Health? Chemtrails and gunships fly over my city daily. Monsanto kills health. Education has gone dowhill for 50 years, ever since forced integration and racial preferences, education has been destroyed. Jews and Judaism seem to get top billing in this talk. Not bad for supposedly 2% of the US pop.
