  • i ate this fruit in the philippines...hated it...lool

  • If you happen to be in Malaysia during the Durian season in Jun, Jul and December, don’t miss the Durian. The best Durian in the world is from Malaysia, they’re tree ripped and taste just sweet or bitter sweet like alcohol. There’s a saying that Durian won’t fall and hit on human’s head because the trees have souls. It’s interesting to know that the farmers never wear a helmet when they collect the fruits and there’s been no accident happened.

  • isn't nature amazing? so many magical, beautiful, wondrous things for us to behold, like this fruit.

  • My stick is flimsy. Gah!

  • hard as a rock o.o

  • There is an easier way to open it.

  • when you drunk, If you eat it too much you'll die!!

  • what do u describe the smell as?

  • i'm asian and i LOVE frozen/cold durian. but i can't eat it fresh haha.

  • lol lol lol Someone ate your durian? How funny!!! Is this some sort of custom I wonder or just a big joke? LOL AAAHHHH How completely HILARIOUS!!!!

  • you are amazing you are looking so great....i need to love you stay on

  • I have bought fresh durian in Chicago and a suburban Asian store a couple of times. I have never seen it frozen. From my understanding, though, it's ripe when the sections start cracking open. Both times that I bought the durian, they were very easy to open because there were already cracks in it. I paid about $7 for a good-sized one.

  • i never see it in california

  • That fruit is evil! I tried it last weekend, my friend hated it from the smell, I loved the smell. I brought it home and it was the worst thing I have tasted and the smell took an hour to leave my home...It tasted like rotten pineapple and onion petrol flavoured fruit. I will not be trying that again but it was a fun experience...

  • @star83 Same here. I bought a frozen imported one which was very expensive. My friends were complaining to me about the smell so I threw it away after only taking about 2 small bites. The texture was also stringy and bad. I don't regret the experience though. You just don't know unless you try it out! :)

  • @getnshape what would u compare the taste to?thankyou!

  • @Lesbiana31 It is hard to describe the taste. I've heard that it tasted like ice cream but I think it tasted more like custard but not as good. I just couldn't get over the bad texture and smell. It might have been better if it was fresh and not frozen.

  • @getnshape hahaha!i guess its true what they say u eighther love it or u dont!:) take care n thanx for responding back!:)

  • can you send some to me in Ny? I will pay top dollar for it.

  • Very cool! Still can't believe you're actually moving there :) sooo cool :)

  • i really want to try durian!

  • What's the big deal about durian? It must be really awesome because I see so many people talking about it. Not sure they have it in my area (whole foods doesn't carry it here).

I haven't looked at the Asian market but I would be concerned about pesticides/herbicides. I'll have to see if they carry it in my area.

Nice thing for the ladies is if anyone gives you a hard time it looks like it could double as a self defense weapon. :)

  • thanks Natasha! I can't wait to try Durian. They have them frozen at my local Asian market but that just does not sound very good to me. Should my first experience be a frozen one?

  • @myroadhome i wouldnt i cant wait to try durian /fresh i hope i like it !goodluck:)

  • I here you either love it or you hate it! I've yet to try it.

  • SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN TO ME <3

  • It's wierd watching these videos because I am in Suratthani which is a boats ride away from her.

  • I want to try it so bad, been saying this over a year now!!! Looks gorgeous, as do you and your lovely tan coming along ala natural Natasha! Love you cupcake. Ps. beautiful view, wanted to see you try the first of that Durian though!!! I hope you enjoyed it. The person who ate the half of your other one may of thought you left it out as a kind offering for someone to enjoy? I see fruit offerings A LOT in Asian culture, it's quite beautiful.

  • I wanted to like it, but couldn't stop gagging the whole time I was eatng it.....everyone has their own taste.
