All in all the night had a couple of good fights but in London England the last hour of the show was taken up by Mir vs Kongo, Florian vs Guida and Randy vs Big Nog (when they both were good)! Didnt show any of the prelims whatsoever?? So I must take you at face value - as I do always - on the prelims,but I wish I'd seen them.

@doliveij Jjust found out that Nate was dinged for excessive levels of testosterone. Seems he was undergoing some type of hormone replacement therapy, which is usually done for ex-roid users who've literally shut down their own bodies' ability to produce the hormone naturally. Looks like Dana wants him in Strike Force to make it more marketable in that weight division, especially since Nick Diaz will whoop GSP and hang around in the UFC for a while.

Felt sorry for Pat Berry karst, cos he was doing what he dream't of doing to Kongo then LIGHTS OUT big time. It didnt seem so brutal but the eyes were watching us while Kongo hit him two more times.

I still cant stand Kongo - he seems to spend to much time on the bench press for my liking.

i was there, that shit was amazing... i talked to pat barry in the hotel after the fight, he said he pulled up some cause he felt the ref comin in to stop it and as he said he "dont wanna be the dick who pounds a guy while the ref tries to pull me off" and ariel helwani said on tv like 4 hours before weigh ins marquardt weighed 170.8lbs so he had made weight.. talking to fighters at the hotel, they didnt say the word riods, but it surely sounded like it to me and lentz got screwed

Wow, I'm so glad someone else noticed that strange reffing in a couple of those fights. The best ref is the one you never know is there. If your not aware of the ref (and the fight is clean) He's doing a good job! But damn it takes time; to half guard then side-control or full mount, and Hell this guy wasn't even givin them a chance, Very annoying. I think it may have been the Meathead fight too, he stood them up one time and was like FIGHT RIGHT NOW PUNCH!, no time to seperate, really wierd.

I had Barry winning the fight and when the ref didn't stop the fight I thought Barry would kill Kongo, but after the fight I thought Kongo had killed Barry. It almost looked like he stop breathing for a second. Russow vs Duffee, Pete Sell vs Quarry,Leben vs Martin, or Pete Sell vs Smith had nothing on that comeback KO.

What we do know with Mardquart:

- He was walking around 174 during day of weigh-ins, so most likely not due to making weight.

- Athletic commission says that Nate knew about this problem and had many months to clear up the situation. So it's probably not due to performance enhancing drugs. However, it could be other (recreational drugs).
