Proof positive that Kiwi cinema can, when the chips are down, summon up enough ineptitude and banality to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. One joke, that was not very funny or remotely original, stretched out to feature length. The media hyped the hell out of this terrible film pre-release, then...well, it was hurriedly forgotten about once people had actually seen it. It's like a Peter Jackson film, if Jackson had a leukotomy before making it. Complete and utter shit. Humiliating.
