  • I LOVE Maraschino Cherries! I Could Eat Them All Day!

  • Comment removed

  • how big is a cup?(:

  • @megadeath681 A cup holds 8 liquid ounces

  • plz replyy :))

for the maraschino cherry juice, do you buy it separately or can you squeeze out the juice from the maraschino cherries and use them for adding into the second dough afterwards? im hoping to make them with my cousins :) they seem so delicious!

    -Sab :)

  • @pugisab123 You don't have to squeeze them, the cherries come immersed in the liquid (like pickles) in the jar and there is lots in there.

  • yumm!!!

  • can you eat the cheesecake when it is cold ?

  • can you eat them when there cold?

  • @JAWS1376 yes

  • @bluesunnyday I was planning on doing the same thing! Ha, great minds think alike!

  • Absolutely love the fact that you make these amazing looking treats look so easy to make. Thank you for your channel.

  • these would be awesome for valentines day because of all the pink colors!

  • Could you use fresh cherries as well for it?

  • @MetalFluffyNinja1 I think you could, but you would have to make sure that you pat them very dry because they contain a lot of moisture that may make the dough too wet .

  • Who screams along the theme song?

  • @XXSXstarbrust101XXBX I've been annoyed by your comments the last few videos. This song was sung by Jason Shaw (You Tube user Audionautix) He did all the voices in the song.

  • @yoyomax12 Im sorry. :(

  • @XXSXstarbrust101XXBX I know you are a loyal watcher and I thank you for that, so no problem.

  • @yoyomax12 I think Xxsxstarburst meant that he sings along to your theme song, meaning he knows all the lyrics and is a real fan. Not claiming that he made the theme song.

  • Why did I automatically think of the movie Harriet the Spy when she began chopping the cherries at 0:21 ?

  • Hi I just made them, Tammy!!! But with cocoa powder for one layer and choc chips for the other! And I used butter instead of shortening. Do you reckon the shortening makes the dough a lot whiter, then using butter? These pink ones look rather pretty then my choc ones, but tastes really nice. Its not very sweet which is great. Soft and buttery!!!! Thankyou for sharing such a lovely recpie and I look forward for more (as Im sure your other fans, would too!!).

  • @bluesunnyday Very happy that you used this and made some changes to make a whole new recipe! The butter we have here is fairly pale yellow and I don't think it affects the colour too much. I think the shortening affects how much the batter spreads when baked.

  • look great and sound like they'd taste it too :) xx

  • that looks yummy!

my mom would love to eat that! :D

can you use sugar cookie mix instead???

  • @miacarol17 yes

  • @miacarol17 Sure, that would work

  • Hey there.

    I have a question:

    What ís shortening?

  • @MrStupidCupcake Google search is a wonderful thing.

  • Yummy!

  • How long is the expiry day? when the cookie is complete, do i have to store them in refrigerator or just in a jar sit in room temperature?

  • @babyOfwinter They should be okay at room temperature for a few days, store them in the refrigerator for longer than that.

  • deff trying it.

  • ohhhh my God!!! this is definitely the next recipe i am trying *.* they look scrumptious. is the texture creamy or crunchy when you bite into them?

  • @gabrielamarcano453 soft and slightly crunchy

  • I made this and I added the whole 8 oz of cream cheese by mistake in my mixture ,so I added a extra cup of flour to the dough and it turned out okay. They are very addicting ^_^

  • Excellent!

  • thay are goood!!!!!!

  • do you bake this if so at what tip

  • @88thegamer Watch video or read the description under it please

  • @Blablablabla2008 What about Walmart that is where I got mine but in California but it was the Walmart brand wk they should have it

  • Can I use other fruits . ?

  • could it maybe be peach?

  • i made them yesterday and they turned out soooooo good i liked them a lot :) thank you for this video !

  • Question! Would you be able use STRAWBERRIES, or any other kind or berry/fruit for that matter, in place of cherries? Not that I have anything against cherries, I just think it would be cute if you tried different flavors and colors and make them, and then put them in a bag- Rainbow formation style!

  • my mom owns this blender she's had for almost 16 years *its almost my age O.o* and it still works well not as good as it did decades ago but amazingly it does xDDD

  • @SailorPerson O_O you already know I'm making these for next year :DDD

  • Looks amazing! Do you think I would be able to use bananas or blueberries in this recipie? It maybe even both? Because the don't have any liquids for the bottom layer do you think you can substitute the Cherie juice for banana extract or the flavor stuff? I found it at the bulk barn once.

  • Love it!!!!

  • Just took the last batch of these out of the oven. Very cute! They taste a lot like my spritz cookies. I think I might try something a tiny bit different next time...I'm considering making the whole batch w/the minced cherries, scooping them out with a tiny scoop, and then rolling them in powdered sugar after they come out of the oven. I'll let ya know. :) Thanks for the recipe Tammy!

  • ooh i love cherries! im gona try it one day!!!

  • Mhhhh i want 1 :)

  • yummo good job merry christmas

  • The recipe is marvelous ! Could you tell me, how is it possible to replace shortening? Cause I didn't manage to find it in Argentinian stores.

  • @yoyomax12 I was VERY proud to be first :)

  • Three dozen = 30 ?

    And wow, that's delish.

    CREAM CHEESE ALL THE WAYYYY!!

  • I think your voice sounds like Jackie from Rosanne, Lol. Great cookies.

  • Hi Tammy.

I noticed you use a mixture of butter and shortening quite a bit in your recipes. I was wondering if it is just your preference or if the recipe calls for it. If it is the latter what is the difference to using all butter?

    -Cindy

  • @VictorAndCindy22 I believe she has mentioned before that using all butter makes the cookies spread more.

  • u r amazing

  • Tammy how do you um finish all these desserts so they don't go to waste?

  • OMG - those look sooooo good! Going to have to try those :)

  • I love how this turned out! It's so prettiful!

  • WHEN I HAVE TIME I AM GOING TO TRY THIS LOOKS SO YUMMY AND I LOVE CHEESECAKE!!!

  • this kind of reminds me of neapolitan cookies.

  • looks so pretty!

  • What does the milk do to it? How does it help? Just wondering..

  • @fillefrancaise98 It helps to stick the layers together so they won't separate when cutting the cookies

  • Will you mention my name in your next video please?

  • Yummy, would be so good for Valentines Day.

  • This sounds like it will be really good. I love the idea of the cherries in the cookie. Yum. I wanted to make a cherry bread to hand out to the neighbors.

Mom used to make something like this when we were growing up and there was a chocolate layer and a coconut layer. It was yummy.

  • omgawwwwl :XD i just gained 20 lbs gona make that for vvalentinesz

  • this sounds like the perfect kind of recipe for our house! soft cookies make me super happy.

  • Im a cheesecake feind and you just made my day

  • I would really love if u could do candy cane chocolate bark !! Pllzzz !! :)

  • hi! Sorry this is a little bit random...I'm just wondering what kind of mixer you use. I am getting one for my mom for xmas, and i think she would prefer a hand held one (like you have) as opposed to the one where you attach the bowl (which we currently use). what kind do you use in your videos and do you like it?

again...sorry this is a bit random...the cookies look amazing!

  • @DangerousDani4Ever It is a Hamilton Beach mixer that comes with its own plastic container that holds the beaters and the plug in cord. The mixer clips onto the container and the whole thing get put away together, very neat.

It does have problems mixing very thick substances, and I've smelled some electrical burning smells from it that usually signals that it will die soon. I'm usually lucky to get a year out of a mixer because I use it so much.

  • That looks really good.. I would do a layer of Cchips and cocoa. thanx.

  • omg, they look super delicious!

  • would freeze dryd cherrys work ?

  • @solaeclipsx sure

  • i love love looooove how you say dough!!!!!

  • @governmentscheisse As Tammy said, she and I are friends. It's a joke between us. If I don't respond this way, she tends to think I'm losing my mind and gets worried. :) No offense intended.

  • i hear ' so this recipe makes about 3000 cookies :"") '

  • Fantastic!

  • Um, what if I wanted to use cherry jawbreaker candy instead of the Marischino cherries? Would that work? And I'm out of flour...baking soda looks the same, would it work? Oh, and my freezer isn't working...can I just run cold water over the dough instead? Thanks! Please answer this quickly, I want to take these to my neighbors cousin this afternoon. OKTHXBAI.

    MWAH Tammy! Merry Christmas! =)

  • @IWalk4tnt Stop, you're not funny.

  • @governmentscheisse Sandi is absolutely hilarious and a friend of mine. The funny part about this is that I get comments just like this :) !

  • @yoyomax12 Thanks Tammy, I knew you'd get it. (Oh, speaking of getting it...your card ran a few days late. I had to wait until I could wait in line at the post office to find out how much the rate to Canadidia was, but, it's on it's way!) These cookies look seriously good! I think I might have to bake some tonight.I hope you & the guys have a great holiday! <3 S.

  • @IWalk4tnt Thank you for the chuckle Sandi ! :)

    Merry Christmas !

  • They are adorable, now, you don't say it, but are they supposed to look like bacon? Because they do look like that to me :).

  • @enjoydotcom Oh my! You know, that you mention it they do :) lol

  • They remind me of neapolitan ice cream!

  • can you use strawberry's instead of cherrys?

  • @LilAshleyBug One stawberry, two strawberries (same for cherries). Strawberries would be okay for this as long as you chopped them fine and tried to dry them off before incorporating them in the dough.

  • What Happened To Your Mixer With The Rubber thing

  • @XXSXstarbrust101XXBX The mixer came with plain beaters and the rubber coated ones as well. The rubber coated ones must have been in the dishwasher when I made this recipe :)

  • @XXSXstarbrust101XXBX I have been looking around for a mixer like that. It seems like it makes less noise.

  • @seygra20 yah lol Tammy Had 1 But I don't Know Why she didn't use it?

  • Yummy

  • yummy!!

  • wow these look great :) thanks for sharing!

  • loving your accent :)

  • can i use glacé cherries instead? x

  • @LeilaHusseini don't see why not, they're practically the same thing :D

  • @LeilaHusseini Those would be great in this :)

  • Loooooooksss GOOOOOOOOD <3 = D

  • That looks soo good...! I thought they were strawberries at first...But cherries are good too! :D

  • Would they stick together if put into a box

  • @DesignerHala I haven't done it, but I think it would be fine if you have baking paper between the cookies and/or between the layers

  • i already had a similar recipe that my mom gave me but this one is so much cuter!

  • Super yummy looking! And, yes, they are quite pretty! TFS!

  • they look great!

Do you think this is the kind of dough that, before chilling, 3 layers could be pressed into a wax paper lined loaf pan?

  • @piebird042 Sure, that would work

  • These cookies are beautiful Tammy! I bet they are very tasty too! YUM!!

  • Those look pretty and yummy! :)

  • Yummy!

  • can you substitute cherry's with raspberry's?

  • @plum4087

U can.... but it will turn into raspberry cheesecake cookies! Give it a try n c wats gunna happen lol

  • @plum4087 duh

  • @plum4087 Raspberries have a lot of liquid in them, it might be difficult to chop them fine. You would have to dry them off before incorporating them in the dough.

  • Those look really good. Also Strawberries would be yummy too :D

  • Can you use strawberries??

  • @cookiesandcreamzzzz Strawberries would be okay for this as long as you chopped them fine and tried to dry them off before incorporating them in the dough.

  • Thank you, I'm 11 and ima make this! lol, can i put the dough in the refridgerator for a LONGER period of time? I want to make it at night and then finish it off in the morning (news year)?

  • @joanesbrother202 Yes, longer time would be just fine in the fridge

  • @liger4live actually u were seventh lok

  • Oooo I am sooo making these in the new year! Love it =)

  • @liger4live haha yupp that's why I put a question mark but it posted two times I don't know why

  • Sooooo pretty!! ♥

  • Im So Hungry

  • ooohh I bet they would be good if you dipped half in chocolate! Yum!
