  • Sometimes, I feel I can relate to Magneto, even though I've never felt the depth of suffering he endures.

  • I love all the refrences magneto makes to his experiences in holocaust like "I've been at the mercy of men under orders." and "Never Again." Gets me every time.

  • eargasm

  • peace was never an option......

  • The best movie last year in my opinion

  • I woder if he ever remembered or used this method again after they fell apart, and if he does I wonder if he will still use his memory of his mom and himself, or the memories of having a real friend who stood by his side and wanted to help him. People know him best as the dark and cruel Magneto, but I prefer to know him as the proud, strong but yet suffering Erik Lehnsherr.

  • GO GO GO MAGNETO !!!

  • Such a beautiful piece of music.

  • "There's so much more to you than you know, not just pain and anger. There's good in you too, and you can harness all that. You have a power that no one can match, not even me."

    Professor X

  • thumbs up if u felt uncontrollable love for ur mother after hearing this!!!

  • xrtxrtfu

  • In this film angel is a massive bitch.

  • nice piece of music

  • this kills me, its so strong the way this song hits you, beautiful soundtrack beautiful scene beautiful movie.

  • Something's different. no base drums?

  • guyz im gonna make 2 songs in 1 vid about this and which song goes better with rage and serenity ?

  • x men first class actually taught me a lesson about discrimination, how they actually used humans to discriminate mutants, it's just like what is happening around the world right now...i learnt a lot thanks to movies and my dad said they were bad for my health lolol the ending was nonsense

  • When I first saw the X-Men trilogy, I was always on the X-Men's side. But when I saw FIrst Class, I was on Erik's side. Cuz they portrayed him that well. I'm excited for this new trilogy, not the Wolverine one.

  • I'm starting to see a pattern. It seems that every mutant discovered their powers through rage. Sad that it had to happen, but good that they discover it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @LikeLegitness I don't think Charles discovered his mutation from rage :/

But I like how this is: From Rage to Serenity. You unlock your mutation from a tragic point in your life with a certain emotion, but then as you learn to control it, you don't need Rage anymore. Erik's a prime example.

ergh... I was just answering your question, and now I'm interpreting this soundtrack piece. Ah, well...I hope this entertained you :D

  • @TennisMcBender Nothing wrong with that lol. But I do wonder how Charles discovered his mutation. He just kinda...had it in the movie.

  • @LikeLegitness Besides Erik, literally no other character was explored in how they discovered their mutation.

  • @AJVersatility19 Actually I was just reffering to him and Wolverine because you're right--those were the only ones that were shown how they discovered their mutation

  • @TennisMcBender I think you're right in that respect, however the difference between Erik and Charles is that he never loses his rage, it is always with him, it gives him purpose.

  • @SeanPageMD Was it his rage that motivated him to hunt Shaw? I'm just trying to understand now.

  • @TennisMcBender Yes, at the beginning Shaw is a nazi scientist, who shoots his mother in front of him, it in turn provokes an emotive response that is connected to his powers.

  • @TennisMcBender there's definitely something tied to the trigger of mutation and powerful emotions. I imagine Xavier being a young boy and being bullied and in this moment of rage, he could have saw the bully's mind and exposed an embarrassing secret :) and yes, I was entertained

  • @calvinwongchirish More likely accidentilly lobotomized him. Would go a long way to explaining why he's big on learning control. That first use being. Well. Yea.

  • This song really kills me. Especially at 1:18 when it starts to pick up. I just keep hearing "there's so much more to you than you know." </3 And this little boy who couldn't move a coin and ended up raising a submarine.

  • @TogetherAtLast He kinda ended up raising the golden gate ;D

  • It's just so sad that Magneto was treated so harshly as a child. THey did a great job portraying that in the movie, as well as everybody else's motives and quirks. A great film all around.

  • @Starn3rd He's suffered so much that you can't blame him for his attitude towards humans.

  • A true X-men movie, of course the soundtrack compliments it indeed :)
