I came her to see the healing process post brain tumor operation because one of my favourite youtubers, Charles Trippy (CTFxC), has been recently diagnosed with a non-aggressive brain tumor, and will be having a surgery March 6th (vlog will be up March 7th). I really hope you are well, and that he can be as strong as you were through his whole dilema. Best wishes. <3 <3
1:23 is that part of your brain visible? i think it's pretty amazing what the human body can withstand..great job on this video! hope all is well. xox
My brother had his surgery a week ago, hees 9 years old. But we're back aedt home. He was really scared because the doctor told him the risks about how he could die. But thank god hes okay now.
Went to Doctor for my daughter and while making small talk with the doctor he asked how I was and I just casually mentioned I was having really bad headaches/migraines and he suggested I should have a CT scan and after they found it on the CT I was sent for MRI and PET scans.
My dizziness was dizzy and felt like I was falling and would have to hold onto something to stabilise. Dizziness triggered I assume by the fact I had a whopping big tumor in my head and didn't know it at the time. Headaches were and are still severe.
Noone has to die to young from the curse on this world..Jesus Christ has already taken the curse from those who would believe it Galatians 3:13 or 1 peter 2:24 that's why He suffered..don't let His suffering be in vane for you...Be thankful i am bold enough to tell you this and have the knowledge by God's grace.Doctors can help but not do away completely.
You're very brave! I hope you feel ok and have people who love you around. People like you and your doctor's are the real heroes in this world. The sportsplayers and comics got their own reward just by being able to do what they love doing. This may not be what people want to do but it is the work that needs to be done! I hope we all get there someday. You're a real inspiration! We're going to find a way to live forever one day! Leave no one behind!
@sypdavis brain surgeries quite often cause bruising to the eye/s due to the bruising from the surgery. Took me a year to feel myself again...no rehab needed for me thankfully this time round just needed extra time.
@violetsjourney HOW ARE YOU? . MY HUSBAND IS POST OP 1.5 YRS FOR ABOUT THE SAME THING ! WE SHOULD TALK MAYBE ? I WOULD LIKE TO ! DAVID MCGALE @ FACEBOOK WISH EVERYONE THAT IS OR HAS GONE THROUGH THIS ALL THE BEST !
I recommend an ebook based on true story about a woman and her dying father; really spiritual and heart-warming and now I know there is life after death: The title is : my dad my first love by anna piekarczyk on Amazon
I had 48 staples not including the ones fromdrilling into both sides of head to stabilize. I feel your pain honey...brings back memories! They didn't shave your head, I was surprised! Hope you're doing well! So many people have had brain tumors! ESSIAC TEA shrunk the rest of mine so I never had to have any radiation! That's they way I'll go if I ever had it reoccur which i doubt will ever happen. God bless you!
God bless you Violet. My surgery was January 3rd of this year (2011). I am dealing with only minor difficulties at this point. I am alive, thanks to the prayers of many people. God does carry us through. I had tears in my eyes as I watched your journey on the video. I hope you are doing great!
wow, am just a kid, i just watch surgery, i know about heart, i see that how they surgery it, am about 11 years old, i was to young to watch the surgery, my parent know that... :D
Wow, I was diagnosed with a brainstem brain tumor in April '09 and my first craniotomy was in May '09. Our stories are similar in many ways. I was in the hospital for 35 days for 3 crani's, with a spinal fluid leak for 4 weeks and I got facial paralysis. God bless you in your continued recovery! I still have lots of side effects, but I AM ALIVE, thanks to God and lots of prayers! I will post my video "response" so you can see my "story". God bless!
No it initally thought from MRI and PET Scan to be Astrocytoma Grade II but after pathology was received post op, was found to be a Ganglioglioma Grade II
I am so glad for you! My father recently passed away after losing his 15 month battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme. You were indeed lucky and I hope you are recovering well! God bless!!!
@airborn86 My Mother died in 2010 Giloblastoma. She was gone fast in 4.5 months. Was totally healthy before, never smoked or drank and not overweight. Totally came from no where. Started with a seizure we thought it was a stroke or infection. Chemo and radation. She was 79. My prayers to all affected by this horrible diase. Always beleive in healing never give up.
I was 13 when got my oparation, they said it was ganglioglima, that tumor was what causing my seizures. but I had to shave my head for the oparation. Its been one year and I havint had a seizure since.
Congadulations on a healthy recovery. I was also diagnosed with ganglioglioma and also had a very successful surgury. Its nice to find others who have defeated it and succeeded with life!
