I would like to warn Chinese students who are currently studying at Cornell and who might want to do postgrad studies at the University of Dundee in Scotland, UK, to THINK twice. The staff at the University of Dundee at deeply racist towards Chinese students, in particular, and the city of Dundee has seen several attacks against Chinese (and other colored students) in the past few years. Also, the academic standing of this university is low and Chinese students should not consider coming here !

you can have your whole life in NYC, why not just spend 4 yrs in Ithaca and expand your horizons just for a crack of a moment. I was born in Los Angeles, went to Cornell, live in Pittsburgh, now live in San Antonio, TX. I'm glad I'm not stuck in the NYC rut but to each his/her own.

I'm a senior at Cornell right now-it's awesome and I REALLY do not want to leave...go there and it'll be the best experience of your life. Amazing people, amazing professors, and a campus with beauty unparalleled...you can even go swimming in the gorges in the summer! ;-)
