  • Koles zamknij okno, bo w moich sluchawkach mi ciagle z prawej wieje.

  • Wasn't there a tablet for too? I recall the tablet.

  • Can you mod the mouse to work for your computer?

  • @HtownBigBoi832 I'm sure SOMEONE could.

  • @setsunasamachan YEA SON!

  • I missed it: did you say the mouse does or does NOT work with the SNES Doom?

  • When I was like 5 years old I knew a kid who had Mario Paint, but lost the mouse.

I've always wanted to play with Mario Paint but at the time I didn't know the mouse existed, let alone needed to play Mario Paint, and I thought game was broken because I couldn't do shit without the mouse.

Now I know, so I'm gonna buy Mario Paint and the mouse off of ebay pretty soon.

  • i like it cuz its cool

  • looks like i will have to buy this and lemmings 2 as there has never been a decent lemmings port apart from the one for windows 95/98 which will no doubt refuse to work on my PC. you'd think it woudent be so difficult just to play a bit of lemmings, makes me wish i didnt get rid of my old amiga years ago

  • Is That Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time I hear in the background?

  • A lot of those were once Amiga games, (Cannon Fodder, Lemmings,).

  • thank you for this great guide!

  • I have this but no super nintendo lol but i used to have one :/

  • @MegaCandy39 Google "snes mouse list" for a list of games it works with.

  • they should make a mario paint for the ds

  • When I bought my snes a year ago on eBay it came with Mario paint, Mario all-stars, mouse, mouse mat and a few other games all for £45, pretty good deal when you think about all the stuff you get with and also I just remembered it came with the snes gameboy thing

  • Was the Europe version of the snes mouse a different colour to the American one?.

  • @Carbon657 I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure.

  • @SilverMongooseVideos i live in England it is the same :)

  • @mitchy38 Thanks!

  • @SilverMongooseVideos hay! classic gamers have to help each other out

  • @Carbon657 no its not

  • I had the game. it was a valetine's day gift. I still have it

  • oh man i love playing mario paint. i should hook up my snes

  • what was the snes mouse trap supposed to do

  • @rjf2zach Catch the SNES mouse, what else?

  • do you HAVE to use this for mario paint

  • where is the SNES mousetrap

  • @MrGameboy1989 The SNES moustrap was recalled shortly after it's release due to a number of call-ins from parents whose children had gotten caught in it. Because of this, it is very rare. Way out of my price range.

  • 00:35 Something strange I noticed a long time ago: A ROM dump of the Japanese version is bit-for-bit identical to a ROM dump of the USA version. That means the two versions are identical, with no translations or bug fixes. Off-hand, I only know of one other game that was identical between the two regions: "Super Metroid"

I didn't know "Mario Paint" came out first in the US. I wonder if "Super Metroid" was also released in USA first? That would explain a lot.

  • i have this thing

  • I have the mouse and Mario Paint. I wonder what they're worth nowadays.

  • @makaveli087 On ebay the highest price is 39.00. That's with the box and all the stuff it came with

  • @TaTgurl1003 Wow. I guess thats not too bad. Shame I only have the Mouse and Mario Paint. I think I'd rather keep it anyways. =)

  • @makaveli087 Good idea. :)

  • this mouse STILL costs 30 bucks :(

  • I don't think I've ever seen a mouse pad quite like that before. If you ask me, they probably included it with the mouse when Nintendo-brand Kitchen Cutting Boards weren't flying off the shelves like they thought they would.

  • @akumacornflakes

i know your joking. but if u think about do u play video games at a desk? w a typewriter?

they made it so it could be used on any surface mainly soft one's like coaches, your lap or a carpet. where most kids would play. that's why.

  • i like how u say mario

  • still got mine baby! can't rock super mario paint without it

  • 0:47 Man, i have the same Logitech mouse lol :D!!

  • Nice review mate... the music in the background is a nice touch.

    Thanks

  • dang.... i lost the ball and ball holder :/

  • do you actually need the pad for the mouse?

  • @luigi112344 5:25. Please watch a video before posting a question. I said it 3 times.

  • @SilverMongooseVideos I am very sorry the day I was watching I was in a hurry and just wanted to here a few things about it and I think I was looking around on ebay that day so I apologize.

  • @luigi112344 No worries.

  • @SilverMongooseVideos

    there's about 40+.

  • @thedirtys2006 40+ what?

  • Excellent review. Didn't know it was first released in NA. I have one and I think it's cool despite it's limited usage in games

  • that looks so neat!

  • Is Mario Paint the only snes game you use the snes mouse on or can it be used for other games too

  • Comment removed

  • @WrathOscuro I blocked him pretty much as soon as he posted that dumb response. I just didn't delete it so everyone can see how intelligent that person is.

  • does the underside of the mouse of a ball under it or a light?

  • @underdawg128 The classic grey ball. I think I had that in the description but I'll add an annotation as well.

  • @underdawg128 they didnt even have optical mouses back then!!

    lol

  • the music is the best part of this vid...I know them all

  • do you need to use this for snes roms for the games that need the snes mouse

  • @nicka209 No idea, man. I don't use ROMS, sorry.

  • @SilverMongooseVideos HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i hete you HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @nicka209 Looks like someone needs a hug.

  • @nicka209 You know, what really troubles me is that anyone could a) Find this a social acceptable comment and/or b) Find this comment amusing in the slightest.

    People these days....

  • @nicka209 well since computers use mouses.....

  • I live in Florida and I've never seen a pawn shop with video games.

  • Really? What are in your pawn shops then?

  • the obvious, jewelery, expensive stuff, people hock.

  • Huh. I don't think I've ever been in a pawn shop that didn't have some games in it. That is weird.

  • it's mainly the area that I live in, not a lot of games.

  • I just bought an snes with super Mario world yoshis island Mario kart and Mario paint with the mouse for 30 dollars good deal

  • If yu dnt mind me asking im starting to collect were do yu get your games at lol

  • Mostly pawn shops and online classifieds.

  • i was so happy when i got 1 i was looking 4 it 4 a long time

  • to bad ther is no keyboard

how awsome it would be to play DooM(snes) with a mouse and a keyboard

  • my mouse is broken , the pointer moves around the screen but the buttons don't work

  • The only Nintendo keyboards I know of are Japanese N64 and Gamecube ones.

  • Ther are 33 games for the mouse O_O? I only heard of one. Wait it works for Jurassic Park (I never used the mouse for that)? I used to have that game. I want the Super gameboy. I didn't know there was a 2nd mouse. I have that pad.

  • havent you played yoshi safari?

that game is a great on rail shooter!

  • Not with the mouse. I use the Super Scope.

  • can you review the game genie

  • Hmmm...I think my girlfriend has one so maybe. I'll add it to the ever growing list of requests.

  • can mario paint work with a regular SNES controller?

  • I just tried it and I can't seem to get it to work unless you use the mouse.

  • Unfortunately, you can only use the mouse. It plugs into controller port 1.

  • This mouse ruled with Sim City, I remember many a time having my legs fall asleep playing Sim City at my cousins house with this mouse. -no rhyme intended-

  • Oh god that actually happened to me when I was playing SNES at my cousin's house.

  • I just got Mario paint with the mouse and the mouse pad today ( and the two manuals ), it's really fun :) I remember playing with the music maker when I was a kid.

    5/5

  • Hey silvermongoose,

I can buy mario paint cartridge with the mouse, the mouse pad, the mouse manual and the mario paint manual for 25$

do you think it worth it?

    thanks.

  • Err...thats at the higher end of what is reasonable. I personally wouldnt pay more than 15 dollars for it but if you are someone who REALLY likes having complete sets (ie manuals and all) then maybe. If that price is without shipping then no for sure. Hope that kinda helps, lol.

  • Thanks for the fast answer :)

Actually I'm getting it from someone in my country so no shipping cost, 25$ for everytimes excet the box.

  • I just subscribe, your review are awesome man.

    5/5

  • Thanks for the comment and sub.

  • i hear if u get a usb snes adaptor u can use the snes mouse as your pc mouse

  • Lol, as cool as that sounds I think I'd rather not go back to a trackball mouse....ever.

  • dude i got the snes mouse w/ mario paint w/ the booklet for the game w/ the instruction manual for the snes mouse all for 10 bucks!

  • That's a good deal. Good find.

  • I got mine for free but then again it was my cousins. It doesn't work anymore.

  • Donkey Kong Country music, i love it

  • i miss my SNEs so much

  • You can always get another!

  • I remember having this when I was little. Man that game was fun. I never stopped playing it. Until my SNES died on me. It was really fun.

  • it works with super scope games perfect i didnt think it could thanks for this review 5/5 exelent.

  • Thanks man.

  • Very awesome and original review! 5 Stars!

  • Wow, thanks ROB. I knew I could count on my Robot Operating Buddy!

  • lol, You're welcome:-)

  • Great video. Subscribed.

  • Thanks and thanks.

  • How did you get the mouse in such good shape!?!?! I just got mine and it's a little scratched and the color is fading! The right click doesn't work!

  • why are you saying merio paint it is named mario paint

  • Ya, it's a bad habit of mine I picked up a while back, which was reinforced by me meeting a guy named mare-io. I switch between mare-io and mar-io all the time.

  • Man, I've had that thing about 3 or 4 years before Gametrader went out of business T_T

  • I just bought that mouse on ebay. Man, I want "Mario and Wario" That was only released in Japan and it would work great with this mouse!

Great review, but you should've shown the bottom of the mouse.

  • Cool.

Ya...I thought of that right after I posted the video. It's too late to change it now. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

  • I'm almost certain that this is the only SNES mouse review on youtube!!

I remember this thing from way back when I was just a wee tyke. Although I dont remember it having a pad. Crazy to see it again, nobody has these things.

  • Ya, I think so too. That's one of the reasons I did it.
