  • it doesnt matter, any individual is capable of changing and learning, your work is not in vain

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and post these video tutorial Please stop apologizing. You have nothing to apologize for. I thank you and I'm pretty sure many others do also.

  • Perfect tutorial!!

Keep up your good work ^^

  • Excellent teaching!

  • please stop apologizing for your not perfect english or computer skills or anything. you definitely speak at least 1000x better english than all of us who are watching this speak vietnamese!! thank you so much for your effort! all the best...

  • @cuirka ^_^ thank you so much for your support ^_^. Good luck with your studying ^_^.

  • B > Bờ not Bh ờ ...

    P > Phờ not Pờ ...

  • great videos so far. thank you. maybe you can find me in HCMC and help me to improve.

  • Love it! thanks you soooooo much! :D

  • Amazing! =)

You could take payment for this.

  • are you northern, cental or southern vietnamese?? Can you tell me?

  • @JunaedyYeoh I was born and lived in Hochiminh City ^_^. However, my mom's voice is Northern. So, my accent is kind of a half of Southern and a half of Northern. But my voice is not Hanoi's voice. Hanoi is our capital ^_^ but my voice is not really strong with Northern accent. For sure, my accent is not from central Vietnam. So, my voice is just in the between Northern and Southern ^_^. Not so strong for North or South ^_^.

Good luck with your studying ^_^.

  • @o0oNyto0o Im from Ho chi min city too

  • At last! A sloooooooooow program, and one which starts at the beginning, with the basics!

Usually teachers are much too fast for me, so I don't learn much after one lesson.

The teachers try to cover too much in one lesson, this way is much better. I enjoyed it and don't have a headache!

Already I have learnt the consonants (but the vowels will take me longer :-D.)

I hope you keep making new videos for us on youtube!

    Thank you so very much!

  • Thanks for making these videos. This is the first lesson that I watched and it helped me. I was supposed to learn Vietnamese with a friend of mine, but she has been busy with school, so your videos are a big help right now.... Thank you :)

  • Thanks. I learned more from this "Self-studying Vietnamese" than when I took Vietnamese class several years ago.

  • @o0oNyto0o i watch video again and yes you call the i soft e and y long e

oh i learned my vietnamese in Long An, Vietnam from my family

  • @noidea30 actually, i should be "short" instead of "soft", sorry for my bad English....

    Nice to meet you ^_^

  • why you never give sound of y you just keep say it long e

  • @noidea30 it's NOT "long e". It should be "long y" ^_^. The sound of "i" and "y" are the same. I just say one is short (short i) and one is long (long y) for everyone to easily distinguish between them in writing.

    i and y sound the same ^_^.

Hope it help you a little bit ^_^.

  • Cảm ơn rất nhiều!!! THIS IS A WONDERFUL LESSON! You are a great teacher. I am from the US and I teach English to a Vietnamese woman, so now I want to start learning her language. There are a lot of Vietnamese people in my community here so I know this will be useful! Thanks for your help!

  • @SaronSH ^_^ Thank you so much ^_^. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me ^_^.

  • thx hope for more lessons!

  • Thank you so much. your Lesson 1 has helped me clear up some of my wrong pronunciations! You are very helpful and clear. :-)

  • Thanks ^_^. Good luck on your studying ^_^

  • Thank You very much for taking your time to teach us... I find it very VERY USEFUL!

  • Thanks ^_^. I'm happy that they're useful for you ^_^.

  • A great starting point for me! I have tried to learn vietnamese with books and CDs but that is much harder than watching your videos! I am moving on to lesson 2 now!

It's really great work and it is very kind of you to share. May I still make one suggestion? Maybe you can make a small pause between the sounds you want the viewer to repeat? Yes.. I know.. I am terrily lazy. And I do realize this all must be a lot of work. It is just a suggestion.

Million thanks once more for the great work!

  • @sysupbda Thank you so much ^_^. Of course yes, next time, I'll try to make a small pause as you want ^_^. But I already made 12 lessons, so it will begin at lesson 13. Thus, there will be small pauses from lesson 13 and so on ^_^. Thank you so much ^_^.

  • Thank you. Your videos are the best for foreigners who want to learn the Vietnames alphabet

  • @MrHugeViking Thank you so much ^_^.

  • Thank you very much.

Don't worry, you don't speak to much.

    :-)

  • Thanks ^_^
