can someone please tell me the differences of each ending of lunar 1 lunar 2 eternal blue and lunar silver star harmony.?? please tell me the differences of their endings...
this version is ps1. the versions of this game go in this order "Sega CD, Playstation, Game Boy Advance, PSP" there was never a sega saturn and if there was it wouldnt have this good of animation, i know this ive been playing video games most of my life.
Wow. I thought that young people were supposed to be familiar with the "wikipedia". Even Google only takes a second when it comes to such easy to look up facts.
There are two versions of this game for Sega Saturn. The PSX version is a port of the second Saturn release.
As for quality of "animation", it sounds like you've got a lot more to learn about the Saturn and PSX in general.
well all that i care about people knowing really is that the first ever version was on the Sega CD which apparently nobody remembers but me, not even wikipedia knows about that so that website isnt that worth it if your looking up "complete" info on this game(hens complete just because it didnt know about the sega cd game nothing more nothing less) have to give it credit that it has alot of info though
@SeyenAkuto the psone version is a port of the saturn version. and it is widely acknowledged that the saturn version had better quality visuals and sound then the psone port,
@SeyenAkuto no one is denying or arguing with you about the fact that the first ever lunar game: "Lunar Silver Star" was released on the Sega CD long before it went anywhere else. what we are saying is that this particular version, with the anime cut scenes, ie: "Lunar Silver Star Story" is an updated version of the original and was first released on the Saturn then eventually ported to the PSone.. however wikipedia has a whole article dedicated to the sega cd game. cheers
@SeyenAkuto ps i can tell your a fan of the sega cd version, i recommened you search for a youtube video titled "16 years of lunar" which is a great comprehensive look at the series and which does the sega cd version justice
Theory : Ghaleon wanted Althena to stay around and keep the seal on Zophar intact. Hence the whole doubting the human spirit thing until Alex proves it by striking him down. Kinda makes his actions and role in both games completely logical, and also totally badass. I mean, Alex idolizing Dyne, who Ghaleon had no respect for once he saw Dyne convince Althena to be reborn as a mortal. So, the insult "Dragon Boy" would make sense on more levels. Ghaleon has plenty of reasons to mock the kid.
It depends more on how well the encoding is done than it does the systems abilities. PSX is hardware decoding, Saturn is software. There is also another version for this particular game that uses an MPEG addon card that allows for MPEG decoding.
One second. I'm confused. I don't remember the Vile Tribe Brombides, the individual female bath scenes, and I know there's at lEAST one more Luna Brombide, I believe there's also one more scene with Ghaleon, correct? His Death?
These are FMV cutscenes from the RPG "Lunar: The Silver Star Story," by Studio Alex and distributed by Game Arts on the Sega Saturn for the Japanese market. This game is a remake of "Lunar: The Silver Star" originally released on the Sega Mega CD, which was localized for the Sega CD by Working Designs.
The Saturn game was localized for release in the United States but was ported over to the Sony PlayStation by Working Designs with assistance from Game Arts/Studio Alex.
Noriyuki Iwadare was composer for the music in Grandia as well as "Lunar" and its sequel "Eternal Blue" for both the Mega CD/Sega CD and the Saturn/PlayStation remakes.
Are you talking about in comparison to the Sega-CD version? This is a remake that switched a number of plot twists around on purpose (as did the GBA version). Plus, we all know that Ghalleon comes back in EB.
The Playstation has an english version of the game these cinemas were taken from.
h-huh... what!? The ending... Alex hasn't defeated Ghaleon... The story is different... and also, there are some parts that are being left out... by the way, do you have an English version of this story?
english version of eveerything sucks, america makes all anime from japan gay when they convert and dubb the language into english, it just sounds gay in english
Working Designs typically had VERY top notch translation and acting. The only complaint were there use of modern references for humor, which did sometimes interfered with the game's atmosphere. But, they generally did excellent work.
Actually, I think Alex got rid of Ghaleon. The only thing bad is that Ghaleon was revived by Zophar, the main villain of the second Lunar game, and Ghaleon serves as Zophar's right-hand man.
Gomenasai alex!!

How can this be high quality?
Isn't the Saturn's video quality lower than the PSX's version?

i think there are a couple of bromides that are on the PS1 version that are not on the SS version.

This is only the regular Saturn Lunar SSS. The PSX version is a port of the 'COMPLETE' version on Saturn which I asume has more too.

Those may be from SSS COMPLETE, the upgraded Saturn version that the PSX version was ported from.

You're a fucking Wapanese moron. The dub for Lunar was awesome. Even better than the original, I dare say.
watatatow 5 years ago
Dare I say, that can be interpreted as a notoriously racist statement...
Watch what you say in the future.
riean 5 years ago
I don't think you even know what "Wapanese" means. Let me give you a definition:
watatatow 5 years ago
In some aspects, that's true. In others, it's not. For instance, we fucked Sailor Moon up, but we made Bublegum Crisis 2040 better^^'
animechik11090 4 years ago
I'm not so sure about that.
Working Designs typically had VERY top notch translation and acting. The only complaint were there use of modern references for humor, which did sometimes interfered with the game's atmosphere. But, they generally did excellent work.
Unfortunately, Working Designs is long gone.
