  • This is the very last song I sung to my sister Patty, right before she died in 2008. She died of colon canser. I sung this and she couldn't talk but she was moving her lips trying her best to sing along with me...She died the very next day 5 days before here 54th Birthday... I love and miss you Patty...

  • I knew the family when Joel, Trent, and Candy were in high school. Candy was just recording her first song, "I Came on Business for the King." Joel and LaBreeska are wonderful parents, and their children were kind, polite, loving, and fun, too. Joel Sr. joked that Candy was shocked when she started singing, because it came out "country as cornbread." Joel has always had a way with words, as evidenced by the amazing songs he's written!
