This is my last comment because people like you make me sick. You take the Bible verse by verse instead of taking the full context. Secondly, fear is simply meaning humility, and submission. God asks us to serve Him in various ways, and we should submit to what He asks of us. You take the text out of context, and you probably turn many people against the God of salvation and mercy, and love. If God doesn't love, how can He say I am love?

And don't take this the wrong way, but you can't really understand the Old or New Testaments without studying them in context. Don't just read the Bible and then assume you've got all you need to know. That's at best idealistic, at worst, a bit arrogant. Hello. I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ. I just want to say that God isn't the one who puts us in hell. We are the ones who choose where we will go(heaven or hell)2Peter3:9 says that God hasn't forgot his promises to return but that he is being patient our sake. He doesn't want anyone to perish so he is giving us more time.

It is not God's plan for us to go to hell. We choose hell when we choose to live a life without Jesus in it!
