I cant wait till I move out because I live with my mother who is very strict christian/pentecostal so I cant really do anything but I have an altar but she just thinks its a pile of junk on a tables so yea. i wish to set up my alter, how do i determine which direction is north? do i use a compass for this . the only soace i have is a little corner in my room.

@MySkiesAreBlue24 yes you would use a compass for that. but if you only have a certain amount of space to work with thats fine too.

@AnyaPagan its kind of weird, if I explain anything without telling him its a wiccan/ pagan ritual or principle he's totally fine with it, and he is open to all metaphysical ideas, I'm pretty sure it's just the name and the misconceptions about it (which I have explained so many times aren't true lol) that scare him...he's also from a very small town and some of his family is very christian, so I think that all contributes to the fear of it unfortunately :(
