The only reason you didn't go faster was that clutch slipped a lot of 3rd gear lol stage 2+ that since the oem ones are weak. Its the same crap in a 540i which are weak for that car too

true, i do understand where you are coming from, but once the clutch starts slipping like this the flywheel is pretty much toast anyways, so theres no loss there. a slipping clutch in these cars mostly only shows itself on the 2-3 and 3-4 shift or under hard launches. the guys clutch in this video probably shows no signs of slipping untill the 2-3 shift.

That BMW its not stock . The time 0-200 is 17 sec. and 0-160 is 11,5 sec so this one is not stock .

after turning on press the dsc button , and mantain it pressed after 10 sec the light will go on and then off (u get with 50% dsc).control

Everytime u turnoff the car it goes to normal mode.Enjoy

ive a E39 4.4i , sure its slower than the M5, i chased one on german Highway.

We acclerated from 100-250, and he won only 3-4 car-lengths, well i used the slipstream behind him, but an M5 is never as fast as in the video.

Maybe it goes steep descent.....

the tires did spin out in first gear, a bit before he shifted into second... in the high revs...the lit up triangle button in the middle means he has disabled the traction control.... can you tell me if this is a stock E39 M5 or does it have mods? looks like it at least has dinan programing because it appears to go faster then the limiter at the end, which is set to cap out at 255km/h.

It's a stock M5, no mods at all. But surprisingly it was faster than other M5's. I've sold this a long time ago now and bought another M5 since.

BMW hasn't used a V6 in any of their cars. A V6 is the definition of compromise; they're used because it's easier to fit them into a crummy front-drive car without actually thinking about how to mount an engine. Of course it helps that BMW still powers the right wheels too, but an INLINE 6 is the only engine type that's in perfect primary and secondary balance. V6's are so unbalanced it's hideous.
