Kiaro... imagine the ia as a sort of ja sound. So it's kind of a Kjaro.

@srtss13 i like em, i dont have a problem with them. Mine are never really streaky, it more so depends on the formula in my opinion, some shades are more difficult to apply.

Thank you for swatching these on your fingernails! So many just show you the bottle. Love the idea of putting the CS on top of the polishes. I sometimes do that with my glitter polishes. I think it's pronounced Cheee ar o scur o. I keep a notebook of all my polishes so I remember what they look like. I just write the name of the polish and then swatch them on the paper (2 coats). Now, I have to figure out how to organize them so I can find the polish without looking at every one of them!

Spontaneous came out kinda dark on me. Does anyone have any idea why?

i find that most of the time, nail polishes dry darker on the nail than the color in the bottle. i think it has to do with oxidation.

@aniyaJ Try using a white basecoat before using the darker colors. It will also help keep your nails from discoloring.

yes! i never used to think it would until i started using both and it makes ur nail polish last longer.

the base and top coat make the the nail look thicker and more shiny, almost like a jewel on the end of your nail, as opposed to just "a color" on the duller texture of your nail.

For Audrey looks so much better on you than it does on me...lol. and neon sacred heart looks prettier than it does in the bottle, i have to get that one! thanks for the idea with chiaroscuro, i will top it on other colors now. do you have awakening? You will love that one! it has the same irredecent effect, but instead of pink with blue tone its purple with gold tone.

i personally find the shine factor to be enough for my taste, but yeah, if you like your nail polish really shiny, the finish of these aren't super shiny. I believe china glaze sells like a shiny topcoat and the have like a patent leather collection i believe and those are supposed to be shiner.

they sell them at sally's (cheapest) and ulta, and some online stores but the shipping can get expensive. I recommend sally's, however, their selection isn't the largest, but i get my china glaze there cause its the cheapest.

Sally's sells them for $5.99 but if you get a sally's card they are only $3.25. Sometimes they ahve buy 2 get 1 free deals too!

Oh my goodness, i have so many favorites, keep in mind i haven't tried all the colors, my sally's is somewhat limited, but i have around 18 colors and i love the cream ones for sure! the pigmentation and the finish is gorgeous. (VII, spontaneous, fifth avenue) i love the shimmer ones too, avalanche is one of my faves!

I'm glad it helped! I feel the same way, its hard to tell if you're going to like a nail polish until its on your nail. These swatches were done without a base or top coat but i do really like the china glaze string adhesion base coat and fast forward top coat! Spontaneous and For Audrey are gorgeous! let me know how you like them!

yep, I went and got some of these with the club card and $1 off/bottle coupon. So about $18/8 bottles. Got the same Solar Power(wearing it right now), and some others. I am going back to get more and check out the 'Rodeo Diva' collection before the end of the month cuz I got another coupon in the mail for "Get $5 off 2" so that's .75/bottle. I hope it can be used more than 1x. Otherwise, I'll use the other coupon for 2 for $5. Golden Meringue looks like it would blend well too!

Yeah, they are really pushing the China Glaze right now. I like the 'Finger Paints' Sally's sells too. But right now take advantage of the low price of the China Glaze and all the coupons. I wore the Solar Power (finally a yellow that is opaque)for a week with little flowers on top, but changed to Flying Dragon(neon purple with red sparkles) last night. The wierd part of neons is that they dry matte.  So if you want a shine you definately have to put some top coat on.

these are great! for me, chipping hasn't been a problem, they dry really fast and are super pigmented. even with just the color and top coat, no base coat, it lasted for almost a week (until i took it off) without majorly chipping. But honestly, i havent really given it the longevity test, ive been so excited about them that i change my polish every few days, LOL.
