You would be suprised at what a bag of Epsom Salt will do for your plants. Get it from the garden section and read back of bag for applying. Epson Salt has nutrients nessesary for plant photosynthisis process. Looking at your leaves I would think that your plants have a nutrient defficency. Usually yellow leaves is the signal for that. I find that bagged soil has less nutrients than they get credit for. Like you, I add worm enriched compost or worm feces for nutrients. and epsom salt as directed
NO, it's bright as heck here in Florida. But if you actually made a video staring directly into the Florida sunlight you would understand. Just trying to help people, even in the hot sun.
i use neem oil, bronner's tea tree oil and water mixed as a natural pest control every couple of days. Thanks, Amy BTW we have a new podcast called Doom and Bloom hour every sat at 9pm on Blog talk radio.
It's planting season here in South Florida again so I will be doing more videos soon. I'm also going to do some medical videos! Thanks again, Nurse Amy
its nbot the collapse im afraid of its just the regular facts of life where i spend my whole one and only life working paying taxes for wars, getting screwed out of my savings, paying more taxes, recessions , not being able to afford the basics. We just need to leave Babalon behind alredy and live independantly. So what if it doesnt collaps thats a bigger problem. So why? so i can keep wasting my life for theese people? I hope it collapses then well have to live sustainably. Earth murderers
Hi Thejessicaville! Thanks for comenting! If it's pickles you want for lunch I've got em. This variety ended up with terrible powdery mildew so I pulled them out. However, the telegraph and Diva varieties are producing like crazy!! I agree with you about loving gardening. Americans should be learning to grow our own food, it is fun and we would so much healthier. Chemicals are killing us. Thanks again for watching,Amy
Hi Angel! The only problem I see with planting beans and cucumbers close together is root competition. Cucumbers have extensive and greedy roots in a container and will soak up every drop of water that comes near them. Even watering every day you will find the soil dry at the end of the day!! I would do one cucumber plant to a 18 inch pot and maybe 3-4 bean plants with a very tall trellis. My trellises for the cucumbers are at least 5 feet tall, bigger if I can find them!!
A beautiful garden needs a heart of a Lion, eyes of an Eagle and hands of a woman. I wonder why your garden looks so beautiful. I live in McLean Virginia and I love love love gardening and people who take good care of this earth. If we cannot stop and look at the flowers and say awwww, than we are as good as dead. Great job Amy, carry on and don't forget my lunch HAHAHA
@AngelikavonDeutschla In short the answer is absolutely. They are companion plants. There are several websites out there that can lay this out in charts showing you exactly what goes well together and what doesn't and why. I would recommend a book you can use as a reference guide. The Gardener's A-Z Guide to Growing by Tanya L. K. Denckla. I found it very helpful and easy to use.
