Well, he's our guy now, at least for the next 6 games. If he can't get it done, I think his career is over. But, I liked what I saw in the preseason. I hope he's matured and has dedicated himself to learning the system here in Houston.

I definitely think he "can" do it. Let's just see if he "will".

It's his noodle arm.He just can't make all the NFL throws.Throws up floaters that get his WR's killed.He got away with it in college because USC had superior talent and the speed is not up to par with the NFL.I thought maybe he'd be able to get by by out thinking everybody else, but he seemed to have regressed in the mental part of the game as well.Maybe a change of scenery will do him some good.He's a system quarterback.He's not going to win you a game on natural ability alone.He needs a guru

Matt Leinart had a pretty good rookie season, but injuries and three straight years of sitting on the bench ruined him. Not to mention the re-emergence of a future Hall of Fame quarterback in Kurt Warner and a new coach who clearly didn't want Leinart on the team in the first place. Whisenhunt has been known for rocky relationships with players. Leinart needs a fresh new start elsewhere.

He is not enough talented to make it to the CFL, CFL QB are really good. He was overrated coming out of USC, just another bust. I am happy for Derek Anderson, he was kick out of Cleveland for no reason.

Matt Leinart was impressive in the playing time he got this past year. But it's tough to shine when you're behind Kurt Warner!

The cardinals have a very good supporting cast and i think matt will do very well

I keep hearing rumours that Leinart is on the way out of Arizona I seriously doubt their true but I have to say if you guys dont want him I personally would love to see him wear an Eagles jersey Matt is a West Coast Offense player and Eagles are rocking that scheme right now plus Leinart is a billion times better than Kolb fuck I can't stand the idea of that loser leading my team.

A west coast offense is ideal for Matt Leinart. He definitely showed that just by looking at the success he had with Dennis Green compared to how he's struggled since Ken Whisenhunt came in.

Kurt Warner is a great guy but I think it's leinarts time to shine in glory. Leinart has never got a chance to show what he can do cuz of his injury and being put in the darkness behind the allstar. I have faith in leinart and have no doubt in him once so ever.:)

Matt Leinart should try to get out of Arizona and play for Carrol because of there history together, they should do great.

AND Leinart will also have a bunch of veteran recievers such as Housbenzada, Branch & Burleson.

I think that is possible, but not likely. Kurt's head isint right, I think Arizona is thinking about cutting him loose. Thus they would turn to there first round draft pick who knows the system... All the same... The seahawks do have 2 first round picks this year. A 6 and a 14. They have the amunition to make the move. And I wouldent be surrprised if Carrol tried to make that move. Of all the Quarterback's he coached at U.S.C. Leinhart was the best.

Totally agree with you. Leinart needs to prove himself next season, if warner retires thats is. Because if Warner does not retire, Leinart only has one season to prove himself. Which is not enough. Leinart is praying for Warner to retire. If he does however, I say in 2010-2011 season Leinart will finsh 6-10 or 7-9

It's gonna be tough for him. By the time he get's a chance to be "the guy" he will only have 1 year left on his contract. He is gonna have to win instantly. I almost wish that the Cards would make the move similar to what Green Bay did with Aaron Rodgers. Just show Kurt Warner the door. They have to give Matt 2 full seasons to prove himself. He may go 6-10, 7-9 the first year. But so did Aaron Rodgers, and look at him now. It's a mistake to let Leinhart sit so long.
