Wow, i saw this band name on a T shirt on the OCMD boardwalk probably about 15 yrs ago. For some reason it always stuck in my mind. Finally decided to look for it. What a waste of god damn time. This shit sucks ass!!!!!
@TheIllegalKind I know music, music is a huge part of my life. I know this music sucks shit and you either enjoy shitty music or you don't know music.....or both!!!
@Paulsmarinesalvage you dont have a clue dont tell me i dont know music just because i like a band you dont you probably listen to the really famous bands
@TheIllegalKind You most likely have never heard of any bands I listen to. I am not gonna argue....sorry for putting you down. This just isn't my cup of tea...or cup of anything for tha matter......just opinion.
Pound for pound, the best of the entire pop punk scene. And that includes Descendents/All because they had too much filler (Allroy Saves, Percolator, No All!, etc)

This song reminds me my teen years with my 3 sieblings... My older brother loved this type of music (indie, I guess), we used to listen a lot cause of him!
Weezer, Veruca Salt, Weston, Fudge, All, Descendents...
I'm with brincher. First vid I saw tho was Ban This by Powell and Gleaming the Cube (Hollywood I know, but it was still badass back then) and all the Epitaph punk bands and BDC were the rage. Still remember watching skate vids to get pumped before an all-day weekend session at the local spots. I'm 35 now and I still remember those days like it was yesterday when I hear these guys.
It is a great feeling Skatox let me tell ya. To be in awesome shape at 35 and keep up on a skateboard, snowboard and mtn bike alongside guys I ride with who are a decade younger than me is a killer feeling for sure. I love going big but I admit I have toned down the intensity level because my job as a Honda Tech requires I keep my arms, legs and hands in working condition LOL. I have a little 3yr old daughter who skates with me too and has her own World Industries complete and DC shoes =).
my dads 39 and he still skateboard, longboard and all that.he acutly broke his arm like 6 months ago and i still see him on my board lol.hes trying to react all those good times he had on his board in the 80s.
Anyone know where I can find any of Mark's old band "Raw Material" stuff? I can't find any recordings at all. They were an amazing band. BDC is awesome too!!!!
I remember the first time I saw a skateboard video, The Questionable video by Plan B... that shit changed my life. Skateboarding, the music [Pennywise, BDC, Primus, Bad Religion], the look, everything. Now I'm almost 30 and the feeling's still alive. The mini-ramp in front of my house is the evidence, lol.
I agree with "dedricthere" I don't skate anymore but my son does and we go into these skate shop's and all the video's have rap music, you need bass driven pop-punk to skate. this music just makes you want to skate faster and do more "pop-shove-it's" than you can handle. check out Powell's "Public Domain" or some old "H-Street" videos.
Hey, man. Hip-Hop and skating are like peas and carrots. I dare say anyone that calls rap bullshit has never attempted to scratch the surface of the genre. Open your mind, and find music that isn't spoon-fed to you. Since this is for a Big Drill Car video, it seems you must know something about good music.
I listen to rap ocastionaly but skateboarding and punk have been to gether since the begaining if their wasn't punk their wouldn't be skateboarding. I do like styles of beyond, del and most of the east and west coast rap from the 90's not this new southern rap shit thought. but punk is the best for skateboarding.
@PKMLshow check out Public Enemy, and Run DMC they were good, but this gansta shit sucks. Public Enemy was very political and even toured with Anthrax
@skatepunkzero ya rap is the worst the worst thing i have ever heard check out the band gameface they are pretty similar to big drill car they rock! BDC rules
@skatepunkzero Not true. Skateboarding was invented in like the 50's. The first "Punk" band was considered to be The Sonics who formed in 1960. But Punk never really got like defining bands until like the 70's. So "if their wasn't punk their wouldn't be skateboarding", is a false statement.
Does anyone remember the days when they used to open up for ALL and blew them away?
