  • Her eyes look like she's blind, hmm! This commercial is pretty interesting on this conversation. :)

  • she's not blind she's telepathic

  • by damn, when she opens her eyes i go, 'HOLY SHIT GHOST', - I'm being discrimatory, but the sudden reveal of eyes with mo pupils is fucking scary, let me tell ye.

  • He can't even "see the person". Still love the message though.

  • 0:25

    =demonic posession

  • I totally missed that she was blind... which means it probably worked :)

  • Now, one thing I'd like to see is a person like me: The disability DOES hinder their ability to do the job, but a simple accommodation can allow the employee to do the job... and the employer actually has it in his fucked up mind, that as long as he "gives the employee a chance" to do the work, that he doesn't have to provide accommodations, and, ultimately, we have to resort to litigation.

THAT'S something I'd like to see!

  • Well, here's something people might not know about:

blind people know their own house more then a seeing person can

  • I wish we had commercials, like this, here in Canada.

  • love this its so positive in energy

  • I would have prefered it to see 'see the person not the impairment' rather than 'the disability'. But I'm a pernicity disability rights nut.

  • I have aspergers and I am open about that. I currently have Two part time jobs. I am a busy man lol

  • @DiegoWolfFox I have aspergers too!

  • If more people were aware about this then it would make life easier!

  • This advert is really nice and effective. Thanks for posting!

  • This comment section rocks!

I can still remember when I first met a deaf person and immediately asked her to dance.

I wanted to hold her hands, but she didn't want to and walked away.

I thought she would need a lead cause I wasn't thinking she might hear the vibrations.

We must always learn and I like how this shows how much anyone can misunderstand due to a disability, but they get along nicely.

  • OMG lol now i feel silly, i am a blind person! i am looking for videos that represent positivity towards disabled people for my assignment at University! i enjoyed this, i just didn't know what was going on lol but thank you very much~~!!!!

  • You're welcome!!

  • I think this is a wonderful campaign, however, sorry to be a bit negative but being disabled is one aspect of having a disability that should be ok and not something to "overlook" as if we our disability doesn't make up a large part of our human experience, so I would leave out the last line in these videos because it isn't necessary.

  • I agree - I think it is possible to recognise the disability AND still see the person as an individual. In my situation, having Asperger's Syndrome, while causing some problems, has also helped mold my personality for the better.

  • This video show the woman selling travel package to the man over the phone. The video show what the guy and the blind person look like.

It show some kind of special keyboard that change braile for some reason. It hard unless I field test it to know how it operate.

  • Hi. I am blind myself, and based on your description, I think you are referring to a braille refreshable keyboard, in which crystalized pins that coordinate braille cells display braille in accordance with the text on the computer screen. The saleswoman is able to read and write as she types on the keyboard.

  • I did the same! I was listening to it trying to figure out what was happening, but then was told the girl was also blind.

  • hi Wildkat, sweet advert this one and very well made the guy in his apartment and feet up on the table and drinking wine the lady with beautiful teeth and blonde hair also maybe a nose ring/stud she sits in front of a big tv screen with sport acivities playing, the braille keyboard is very posh and "futureistic"

  • haha! i find being blind good sometimes, we get to experience life differantly, makes things more interesting i think! how about you? are you using JAWS at the moment? xx

  • @Avrillavigne99 how are you blind if you watched this and typed that

  • @JillnRe Blind people use screen readers, (software that reads what's on the screen out loud) and as you saw in the video, Braille Displays sometimes to use the PC and navigate the internet. I'm legally blind, so I have some vision, but a lot of my totally blind friends use youtube, and all of them are on the internet.

  • @Avrillavigne99 Hi there I don't know if you are still doing your project but there is a Chilean video called ``quien es el ciego'' or "who's blind", which shows a girl walking carelessly towards a street, the sound of an engine approaching, the girl is pulled back by a guy. You think the girl is blind, then it focuses on the guy's cane. It is Spanish language, but there is nothing spoken. If you just search ``quien es el ciego'' it will come up.

  • i don't understand this

  • It's showing that the man doesn't know she is blind, and her disability doesn't affect how well she can do her job.

  • @piflover - I've just subscribed to Avrillavigne99 - sad to see that her blindess was questioned in comments, because she used a photo, that wasn't her own face, and because if she were blind, she wouldn't be able to see the comments to read them.
