have you guys had the major fuel pump issues with the jb3 like the rest of the other 335's have? wondering if the added boost puts stress on the pump, seriously looking into getting one of these but i'm wary of not having a car for extended periods of time.
who you want to make fool - the speedometer is KILOMETER based which means 60mph is roughly 97km in this 335ix. and it seems it reaches 97kmh by 5-5.2 sec

JB3 is amazing and your time is great. I'm running 335i DCT with JB3 2.0 map7 (BT cable) and will install my DCI's today :-) Next step is AR Design catless downpipes and probably cp-e or HPF intercooler. Getting 440hp without FMIC and DP's is impressive on map7 - did you dyno it? Best I did was 4.6 sec from stand still. Will give it another run after the DCI installation - should help with turbo lag. Congrats on a great car
@71Kongen Yes i have dyno my car last month...but with this year new Helix fmic and meth...on race gas ms109 + meth =449,4 whp on dynapack dyno....stock boost with bolt-on stock = 304whp and all stock car (2 years ago on same dyno) = 282 whp.
first off that was not a 3.7 0 - 60 and how is it that ur getting your numbers do u have a timer cuz I didn't see u using one or show an. real results according to my calculations that was a 4.1 0 - 60 still fast but not in the 3's especially not 3.5 and as far as c63 is concerned that car was recorded by car and driver to get 3.89 seconds to 60 stock so to the person ho claims to own a c63 and only spins tires go suck a fat one and realize the amg has low torque and an amazing LSD so yea..
@Firepoule if those numbers are correct.. that is one fast ass car! but ive read studies that say the gtech is not as accurate as some might think. Also a lot of magazines dont use 1 foot roll outs.. but some do. but Kudos to you if those numbers are legit! twin turbo FTW!
Yeah that JB3 on a 335xi takes you to 911 territory. I am pulling 0-60 in 3.9 on mine on map#5 with the dual cone only. Just ordered to BT cable so I'm gonna take it to map 7 now. I love it, no wheel spin on that XI :) My C63 is a beast, but the xi is faster- cant keep the tires on the ground with the C63. Just spins and spins and spins. Shut off the traction control and you will be riding on metal.
@phv628 426 ft lbs of torque with the entire package. dinan states those numbers with their equiped intercooler/intake/exhaust. it's less with just the software upgrade.
i have just bought 335i saloon. There really quick stock. BMW say 0-60 5.5 sec but i heard its more like 4.9 sec. Also BMW say 305BHP but more like 330-340bhp do you think is true? Also im looking to put JB3 on it, whats involved?, does it effect the engine or MPG and wot 0-60 do you think i'd get from just the JB3 on a stck car? cheers.
I have an 08 335xi coupe 6 speed manual with jb3 and this thing pulls pretty hard. It will put the your passenger into the seat. I'll be upgrading to a jb3, but a jb2 is good for now. Get a manual, but then again, good luck finding one on a coupe. Nothing else is needed for any jb's, just plug and play.
yeah mine is the saloon M sport, prefer 4 door really just more room in back and its the auto with flappy paddle gearbox. Juice box say the JB3 gives quicker times on automatic's. Dont know why? do you beat many m3's and subarus?
With JB2, you can beat 06 and below M3's but will keep up or trap the same time as the newer M3 as they can easily hit mid to high 12's out of the box. I had a choice to buy 08 M3 or the show room 08 335xi, I went with the 335xi as it has more potential with the twins and that the v8 mpg is horrible, 12-14mpg. Subbies are not a threat, only the well tuned STI's.
nice. To be honest I was looking for an M5, but then on weekend went for a look around bmw dealer and saw this 335i. He said do you want to test drive it? I said yeah but to be honest I thought it wunt be that quick. It blew my fucking socks off. The power is relentless so with a chip it must be stupidly quick. No regrets on not getting an m5 sofar. I love the burble as well wen u start up and wen u shit down gears it pops. It really is a piece of kit for less money than m3/m5.

3.71 with my Gtech, with 12 inches rollout (like magazine). This with my old setup...now easy in the 3.6x. Check my other video 0-60 in 3.58...

While the C63 has a 6.2 liter V8 the JB3 is more faster , while it has a 3.0 liter R6.
M-car is allways more superior than a AMG.

325 hp at crank stock.
3.8-3.9 0-60mph with awd and same with DR on rwd. On stock car
same mpg if you drive same.
