a goid batter ? i was like 15 and i was there to train on pitching again because i hurt my arm for a couple years . obviously im not going to throw my hardest .
That curveball hung slightly. It had good starting movement, but it needs to cut down more, especially a 12-6 like that.
Also, how can anyone possibly say that a curveball doesn't mean anything? Curveballs are balance pitches, a well-executed curve will get a batter off-balance by sight rather than anticipation like a changeup. A 12-6 like this is essentially a slower sinker; they're not necessarily supposed to miss, just top the ball so they ground out.
my friend was throwing curveballs all year that kids were ducking cuz they broke that much. he walked kids cuz the umpires sucked and they didnt know that if someone ducks it can still drop in for a strike
Curveballs don't mean crap. I had a 75 mph fastball, a change-up, and a cutter, and that alone got me to the top ten best era's in the state my senior year. My curveball kept getting hit so the coach and I decided to get rid of it. The bottom line is this guy threw this "amazing" curve, but he just walked the batter anyway so it means nothing.
@FallingWages What's your name? Haha if u were top ten best ERA than prove it. And curveballs do mean crap. It's my number one strike out pitch. People hit yours probably because it was shit, not because curveballs "don't mean crap" And one walk. What if you walk a guy on a fastball? Does that mean fastballs don't mean crap?
@hcvideoproductions A curveball alone doesn't mean shit. In the same way a fastball alone doesn't mean shit. And yes! My curveball sucked, that was part of my point...read my comment b4 you criticize it! But I still had success with other weapons. I'm sure your curve is good and you have great success with it. Good pitchers simply need to be smart, change speeds, and control every pitch. A pitchers job is to get outs, not have the best curveball and walk everybody.
@youatemypants its actually called a walk off walk. i know that for a fact cuz it happened with the yankees when jose molina took a hit in the leg and the bases were loaded and they won the game.
@ImOnRockyTop check out my other video where i got radared at 75 and it was half a year ago. now that ive been lifting an got older i throw low 80s. trust me i got radared at a college scouting recruit.
I saw that you looked really good! Do a lot of arm circles with wrist weights. That's what my high school coaches taught me. I'm 6'1 but 155 lbs so I'm very skinny but I threw descent speed. I had kids on my team throwing 94mph which is rediculous for high school. You have great form with your pitches and a great curveball. Keep it up bud!
Do a lot of light weight workouts to increase velocity. Look up dillon Mulholland and watch the baseball video. I got up to 88 to 89 mph during the season on my two seam. We were playing against one of the better teams in San Diego.
If you say that you were only throwing changeups then why is this video titled best curveball ever. You do have a lot of potential though. Stick with it.
@MrMulholland34 Well I posted this video mainly for people who needed some tips on how to keep balance. Also I wanted to point out other things other than curveball like most videos do because I don’t want to see a ten second video of just one pitch. So i decided to make a mini montage and give it that title for the views. Also i watched your video.
@MrMulholland34 You seem really petite with a strong arm. I’m about 5'8'' throwing in the low 80s planning on doing long toss and starting to lift weights. I’ll keep the light weight exercises for my arm workouts in mind. Thank you. Also if you’d like to see my most recent video you can. They’re called "79 mph radar gun" and "rotational swing"
where the hell is the homeplate umpire lol

@hockeyhabs100 When you only have one UMP, it;s the best position to be in when a play is being judged from all bases.

what is te difference between a breaking ball and a fucking downward curveball
youguysarequeers 10 months ago
@youguysarequeers breaking ball is every pitch other than a 2 seam and 4 seam fastball. other than that is considered a breaking ball pitch
JoseandGevenny 10 months ago
