  • fucking classiK

  • ya this was the last album i like from him

  • The problem is that we accept the new hip hop...we listen to it...buy it...and try to duplicate it...I grew on raw hip hop..if you want this to resurface you have to keep in circulation...

R.I.P Pun and the old JOE

  • H1MLA u wanna c some real uk hip hop check my videos out!!!

  • SAFEISTHEBEST joe is a ledgend and this track proves it!

  • Yes, when he was once a Hip-Hop MC. But he sadly sold out ^ started making garbage records on a rapper level. Fat Joe debut LP - Represent & 2nd LP Jealous One's envy are both classic material. Everything else, FJ made afterwards was essential 4 the pop crowd. Yes FJ, still had MC abilities, but he needs to get back to his roots - REAL HIP-HOP MCing. This is not me dissing, just a brother who feel strongly about his culture that is Hip-Hop, nothing more Bruv. Peace & love from London, England!

  • old skool

  • my pops is a legend !! no nigga could do wat he did for new york, let alone tha bronx !! he opened the door for all these latino nigga's !!! HE SIGNED PUN !!! They're the 2 most known latino rappers . THEY BOTH WENT PLATINUM . DONT LET A NIGGA TELL U OTHER WISE ; FAT JOE RUN TIS RAP SHIT, OH YEAH LOOK OUT FOR HIS NEXT SINGLE ; FatJoe Ft. Pleasure P - Aloha

  • Fat Joe has always been the real.Even though he's making radio cuts,he still makes underground shit for the streets (D.I.T.C.).Fuck the haters.

  • classic album!....the 90s hiphop...is gone....but real hiphop is still out there if u look hard enough...check the videos i made on my page...

  • Can't deny Joey Crack this classic album...and not just cuz DJ Premier produced it....Fat Joe was at the apex of his skills at this point...

  • Premier only did two tracks on the album and this wasnt one of them.......

  • @AvenueD417......w0rd life! This iz the way hiphop iz supposed 2 sound!

  • I agree abyss the game is poisoned

  • joey's best album by far

  • hell yeah, you ain't lying, by far his best

  • woooo i cant believe i forgot about this shit... this kinda shit still is alive and well. Its underground where it belongs!

  • i used to listen to his shit he was straight hardcore yo but nowadays whenever i hear his shit i just run yo..

  • This beat is fucking sick

  • Damn homie,

In the 90's you used to be the man homie,

what the fuck happened to you?

I can't see how he can listen to his old stuff without having a guilty conscience from selling out hard.

  • damn Fat Joe

    wtf happened to you

nowadays you got a wack ass sing songy flow

    why?

  • I miss this Joe, but yo, niggas gotta make a dollar and sell records, Niggas can't make records like this and sell anymore.

  • Dont believe what these cats be sayin tho. Str8, mos of these dudes is jus greedy, disloyal types and use the "I gotta eat" line as an excuse. You can still make classic Hip-Hop like this and be well off. Artists like Cormega and Immortal Technique aint sell-out, still make classic music, but got strong fan bases that theyve built over time and are livin good, maybe not MTV Cribs style, but aint strugglin. So the question that remains then is what satisfies them as an artist?

  • Its funny when backpack dudes defend hip hop. Cormega and Immortal Technique are content with what they are doing and make a decent living especially Cormega. Some even do better than major artist, financially. But if you are a major label artist, you can't just make gutta hip hop music anymore and expect to sale I love that underground shitand Im sure Joe loves the shit he used to do but he can't, cants not buying commercial shit not, you think in his world, he could make boom bam hip hop.

  • word, real talk.

  • @DahStoryTella word!

  • Str8 tho, I aint a backpack dude so miss me with that. If Joe is more worried about sales than whats truely in his heart then his time's up, stop disappointin the fans thats been with him since day 1. Artists need to do art and be straight with who they appeal to instead of worryin bout a buck. Cash flows anyway when you accumulate ya moves right, otherwise keep a plan b. That's why the game so fucked up now, cuz people tryna make money off of somethin that wasnt about money in the first place.

  • You still dont get it.This is a business. If I could get one song like this he could put out that I won't tell bullshit because thats whats going to feed his kids.Stop being selfish. Its not 94, where a record like Bring the Pain, or Throw you guns can sell a gold and platinum records I hear all that purist stuff you kicking but boom bap shit "BY ITS SELF" doesn't sell records. If he makes what you call art, and 2 people buy his album, can you get the labels to keep him. Can you pay his bills?

  • Fa 1, thats where u got it twisted by what them COs be poppin niggaz with, Hip-Hop is NOT a business, but a culture. Selfish? Na, artists get selfish when they turn their backs on what they came from for a bill; niggaz get killed fa that in the streets or lose all respect to the point they cant come back. I'm not sayin he should jus make this, of course you gotta grow, but instead mos jus downgrade. And payin bills? Like I said, accumulate ya moves right and that wont be such a worry.

  • Niggaz get killed fa that in the streets? Lol, Niggas get killed when to stay in the streets after they make it. You still don't get it. I know hip hop is a culture. this convo is a waste of my time. If you want to perserve hip hop, go call yo back pack friends, and buy heltah sketah shit that jus drop, Diamond just drop too? Buy a million copies, so that the majors could get a demand for that. So that whole radio could be hardcore and anti bitch songs.

  • True, they do when they try to, but you misundastood the whole point of me sayin that. But I see its a waste of time too cuz you already got ya mind set on your beliefs. I respect yours, but fa real, get off tha back pack tip cuz you sound like you tryna clown, shit is unique with mines. These mjs got ya fav artists losin respect, but niggas ratha live like chumps than die like men, think on what im sayin. Btw, Diamond's new shit, its aight, but nothin strong.

  • @abyss104 doesnt change the fact that newer shit=shit

  • @abyss104 its not the shit mainstream wants because of the labels and radio make people think that hip-pop is better.. people arent told that what they're hearing sucks. if they heard more real shit they'd feel it way more
