Domenic, who cares if you're using the double kick...it's the end product that counts. I'm a jazz player myself, but I have a decent tip for you rock guys: try not burying the bass drum beater and let the head resonate naturally. John Bonham is/was the master at that, and he has a fantastic sounding bass drum sound, right?

I havent played for almost 30 some odd years and I remember playing some BOC when I was in a band. Now I live in apt and I just ordered a electronic drum set. The band I was in is getting back together. I see you playing and I want to beable to play like I used to but I guess it will take time. Great job on BOC!!

Good to see your posts. Btw, I'm a huge fan of BOC. My highschool pals and I saw them half a dozen times. Not sure if you know this, but they used to play small venues under the psuedo name "Soft White Underbelly".

Anyway, good to see you posting again. Although, it just isn't going to be the same without Olby around :)
