  • You need 3 ropes, 4 buckets, 2 bags of concrete, metal rods, 4 pvc pipes and some cardboard. Check our ring out hahaha

  • What size is your ring.

  • Thanks for making this easy an simple

  • a trampoline??? no kid that is dangerous and Ive never seen of heard of that before. A pro wrestling ring had a main spring in the center and steel framing and plywood on top followed by carpet with foam padding then a mat cover .

  • @dbbeertime I never said this was a pro ring. Yes i too know what a pro wrestling ring is like. It dosent have springs, nor any carpet. I set one up and took one down every friday for 2 years. Check my channel to see the vids of that ring instead.

  • 0:18 Thats not plywood.

  • @XDJxLLAMAxBEATSx32 I'm not sure where your from? But thats ply wood. Or if you want to get technical: Compressed Particle Board. Its all the same thing, Its all made out of wood clippings compressed. And considering we had 3 ply "PLY WOOD" I would think that would be the appropriate name for the wood. Good try at trying to point out some flaw that doesn't exist though.

  • @gcmsboy1234 Naaa. The stuff your using is particle board. Ply-wood is solid. Particle board is the chip-wood you have...

  • @XDJxLLAMAxBEATSx32, well in north carolina, thats what everyone calls it. But i do know the difference you are talking about.

  • if you have done the wooden poal thing under the ring and than the grey thing (sorry im form belgium and i dont undeastand evryting but the most) can you put a soft mat under it?

  • looks cool il try this after xmas

  • iike the ring and wanna build one but dont know a good spot i dont have a backyard but i do like the ring WTG

  • iike the ring and wanna build one but dont know a good spot i dont have a backyard but i do like the ring WTG

  • id just do this for boxing not faggy wrestling wwe shit

  • If it is a 16x16 ring, you should connect the 2x4's with hinges so it flexes more in the center so the tires help take more impact, it worked for us. Also, if you put the tires vertical instead of horizontal in sets of 2 or 3 (drill holes in the tires and just use a nut, bolt, and washers at two points so they dont wiggle apart) we found it helps a lot with the give. Good luck to you man, keep it up.

  • you fag just wasted 600 bucks on this and i made it and then my son brock his neck you ass

my wife wants to press chares

  • @RileyTower There is a warning at the end of the video letting you know I'm not responsible. Also if your a father with the grammar of a 13 year old I feel sorry as to what your son was being raised to. Another thing, if by chance you did build this ring, it would be breaking terms of your home owners policy and they would void your insurance. I never said this was safe or did I say you could land on you're neck and not break it. A little common sense and acting responsible is what you need.

  • @gcmsboy1234 thanks im not his father but thanks for your saport i will tell him ;D

  • @gcmsboy1234 damn RileyTower just got pwned!!!!!

  • @gcmsboy1234 i like it, but my ring is better

  • @jasonlego387 oh yeah, and my dick is bigger...bitchhhh!

  • @gcmsboy1234 Damn straight nigga!

    Tell em' how it is!

  • @RileyTower Your wife can suck my dick you fatass. Theres a reason why WWE says dont try this at home.

  • @theSTRAIGHTsk8 your mom can suck my dick oh sorry she did last night. she swalled my cum and evary thing

  • @RileyTower Oh so now your cheating on your wife. She should file a lawsuite.

Yoyre sonis a fag and I would kick his ass in that ring.

  • Just spend 1200 bucks on a used ring be worth it

  • How long is the plywood,turnbuckles,and 2 by 4's

  • @Jaxxon10 just put pillows or old mattresses under then put the tarp over

  • can you make it so its soft?

  • Dude no offense, It should look like dis.

  • u can put carpet under da mat 4 more padding

  • this is nice, but not all that great for big guys

  • hey i'm building my ring next weekend. Yours looks awesome btw and thx alot for putting up this video. I was wondering what kind of rope did you use? And is it strong enough to go to the top rope and do moves?

  • your bottom rope is to high kid....

  • @TheSuperTenor Thank You for your input. Anything else you would like to add? I know this is a random video you found and you haven't looked at any of my other videos. But we have moved from the backyard to the real wrestling world, and travel around the state. With real workers, that have appeared on tna, ecw, and raw. If you have the time, or interest, you could watch those videos. About the rope being to high?, well it seemed to work out just fine for our needs. But im sure you could do beter

  • @gcmsboy1234 Thanks for being a smartass....

  • @gcmsboy1234 thats why only your workers made it to tna, ecw, and raw and not wrestlers. no need to be a dick with everybody.

  • @TLHippert: Im just returning the favor. Really, I don't wrestle anymore, I could give two shits about it. I think its one of my stupidest past times and a waste of my money. But how are you going to say my bottom rope is to high. As if you know the correct specs about a wrestling rings rope hight. Yeah it might appear to be a little to high. And for you comment saying " only your workers, not your wrestlers" well the wrestlers are referred to as "workers" in the indy world.

  • @gcmsboy1234 your bottom rope is way to damn high,mr. sarcastic

  • @anthony14648 Okay. Make your own fucking ring. Make it look beter then this. Post a video. Why talk shit about something like this. This was three damn years ago. I don't even give a fat shit about wrestling anymore. Its something I did that i think is half retarted. But im sure you watch wwe and you know everything about wrestling right? I worked for a wrestling promotion for about a year and traveld around the state and made money. Watch my newer videos for proof. =( ^.^ )= cat face

  • DId you use treated lumber?

  • cool wrestling ring mate 10/10

  • dont try this at home do you know that? FUCKING KID

  • @Huracankpo2 Thank you for your support! :D

But in all honesty, before I quit wrestling and anything to do with it, I was trained. Now I know your thinking, "hes just saying that". But my new videos show proof. Its me traveling around the state wrestling with real workers, and getting payed at that. I'm not going to bash you for your stupidity on my subject. But I'm informing you of your mistake. That I in fact, have the knowledge needed to "Try This At Home".

  • ok this is dumb that is not how you build a ring what you need to do is buy a real one because you fucking yard turds are the reason alot of people dont like it. leave it to us the train wrestlers that go to school to do this stuff.

  • i'll be honest i bult one a year ago only 250 dollars.

  • is there any way to do this without digging

  • cam you do this with no tires?

  • @JohnMWrestling i wouldnt try it. The tires are there so that the boards can have a little give but not enough so that they break. Without the tires there all the boards would break. If you use steel beams instead of 2 by fours then yeah it would be okay

  • Co0L

  • how much weight can it hold and how big is it

  • i have 2 questions how big is it and how much weight can it hold?

  • @gcmsboy1234 How many feet of rope do you use?

  • Your ropes are not spaced out corectly....

  • How many feet of rope did you use?

  • muito massa esse vídeo estarei com um desse aí

  • muito massa esse video estarei com um desse aí

  • how big is your frame

  • for all who REALLY WANT IT but cant take pain then dont use slams, buy more tarps, padding. or foam and such to make it as painless as possible

  • I wouldn't bump in that ring for all the rice in China. That's why it's so vital to get proper training with a real ring, & have a greater chance of not injuring yourself in some impromptu yard tard ring.

  • @SantaDog. I did wrestle for a real promotion with real training. I have new videos up that prove it.

  • @gcmsboy1234 That's cool. What areas do you work?

  • @SantaDog what do you mean by that. I dont wrestle anymore but when i did it was just in 3 different citys and sometimes different shows?

  • God that's a great looking ring I'm gonna build the same for my promotion if you dont mind

  • nice ring but the bottom turnbuckle is too high up if you fix it post another vid 5/5

  • @asnowball2 i would but actually its the right height . And furthermore i don't have the ring anymore nor do i wrestle anymore

  • how Old Are you ?

  • @CrazyMonkeysOnCrack nah, get someone else to do it

  • @CrazyMonkeysOnCrack i watched it like 10 months ago dude! so gth

  • @JFFjustforfun Im going to go ahead and say. If your to lazy to get a job. To buy a ring or something els then you got problems. Expecially if your fifteen. Making 300-400 dollars isnt hard at all nor is it allot of money. To you mabey. Crackmonkey thanks for sticking up for me but i can handle situations like this my self. You guys can take the aurgurment somewhere else.

  • @gcmsboy1234 im not lazy, but im not going to use 300-400 dollars on a wrestling ring. i have other stuff to use that kind of money on. but, if i had alot of money, and didnt have anything else to use my money on, i would probably make it ^^, But you should'nt say that its not hard to get, maybe its not hard for you, but 300-400 dollars is ALOT where im from, just saying :P

  • @JFFjustforfun that is ALOT of money to use on one ring.

  • @itachiuchiha857 no its not. Not if you want it to last and look professional.

  • @gcmsboy1234 Are you serious? "Look Proffesional", This ring is the FARTHEST thing from even looking proffesional, not to mention its nothing like a real wreslting ring. I would rule this ring a: EPIC FAIL

  • @SuperWhiteboy3 Okay. First off its a backyard ring. Second for the money it looks as close to a real ring as your going to get. Third it is basicly the same thing as a real ring. I used to set up and break down a real wrestling ring every friday for a couple of months when i wrestled in a real promotion. I know what im talking about.

  • @gcmsboy1234 If you worked in a real promotion, than im the emperor of china. No one would take you cause you suck ass at wrestling first of all.

  • @SuperWhiteboy3 Your the emperor of china then because i have videos of the promotion i worked in on this channel. There the newest videos.

  • @gcmsboy1234 dude my dad had to do that for wcw he drove a truck with everything in it and made the wrestling ring

  • @CrazyMonkeysOnCrack lazy? nah, i just have a life. and im not going to waste that life by working alot, to make a suckish wrestling ring to break my neck

  • @CrazyMonkeysOnCrack sooo original -.- someone else told me that -.- 15 years old, getting a job to earn 300-400 dollars? yeah.. -.-

  • oh my god best ring on youtube!

  • Yo ill make a vid but does mine look ok

  • this sucks

  • if you want a ring that DOESNT use tires, you need 2x6's for the frame and/or the deck support. i built one, and it supported A LOT of weight.

for the deck support; take 2 of the framing boards, and nail/screw 2x4's on top of them, and then when you tip those 2x6's on their sides, the 2x4's will be like support rails for the deck boards, and then the plywood on top of that, and VOILA, nice, bouncy ring.

  • why do you need tires?

  • wat kind of ropes can u use for the ring?

  • bmcvhjmkj

  • THIS IS QUIKE AND EASY!!!THANK YOU gcmsboy1234!i nearly done.i tested it and OOOUUCCHH!!!

  • three questions

    1. how long did it take to find the parts?

    2. if you got the tyres from a scrap yard how much were they?

    3. how long did it take you to set up the ring?

  • I made this ring for a friend, but I made a few alterations.

    1. I sawed some of the tires in half.

    2. I placed the wood posts on Christmas tree stands.

    3. I tied sections of rope around the posts under the ring.

    4. I used the turnbuckles to hold some chainlink to connect the ropes.

    5. I taped the ropes to color with electrical tape.

    6. I taped foam sheets over the end of the chainlink.

  • @ecwfaithful put a vid up

  • @gcmsboy1234 I can't at the moment because:

    A. I don't have my camera right now.

    B. My computer freezes up whenever I try to make a video with WMM or Sony Vegas HD.

  • cant u buy extra foam and staple it to the plywood

  • @foleylionheart08 the thing is your wrong. I am in a real federation just watch my new videos. The padding is really stiff and is 2 times more hard then the ring in this video. There is no soft barrier. Its all about how you land. So that you dont hurt yourself. But somehow your going to say im wrong even through i have been setting up a ring for almost a year.

  • Do you have to have tires?

  • Faggot kid

  • your ropes dont have elastics?

  • @nickmatt2 the professional "ropes" used on wwe and most rings are airline cable (steel) with a rubber hose over top and tape. It actually can hurt to run and are very stiff.

  • @gcmsboy1234 i know that and they have something to make them bounce but not much. I know this because i am a semi pro wrestler in maine im with the iwe its awsome you should look into finding a semi pro group around you live if your old enough

  • @nickmatt2 actually. I did wrestle in a indy wrestling promotion. If you would have watched my new videos you would know. And there is nothing to make them bounce its all about how tight the ropes are. There is no elastic or any other thing to make them bounce its just the tightness.

  • @gcmsboy1234 Actually, WWE uses real rope covered in Vynal tape. You are thinking of TNA, ROH, and many other companies.

  • @ecwfaithful yeah but its not fucking elastic like people say.

  • @gcmsboy1234 You are right on that.

  • @gcmsboy1234 well the WWe uses real rope not cable. i know for a fact

  • just buy more padding

  • The Tires if we don't buy them what if there flatting can we still use them.

  • @DrummerBoy189 Okay. The tires you get dont need to have the rim or the inter tube in them. Just the rubber part on the outside

  • i guess the expensivest part are the tires ,right?

  • @RatedRK0rton Nope they were free for me :)

  • @gcmsboy1234 for me they would be free too. i asked my dad how expensive 4 tires are: the cheapest are over 200 bucks

  • @RatedRK0rton yeah they would be 200 dollars new.. But why would you use new tires. I used them from a junk yard

  • @gcmsboy1234 my dad is a car mechanic. so they got a lot of old tires. by the way: i like this video. are you gonna do more wrestling stuff on youtube?

  • Have you guys wrestled in a professional ring? The one I wrestle in is 18x18. It's hella fun. xD

  • @AlexTheNightMareHawk . Yeah when i was actually in training i was at a 16 by 16 ring at practice and a 18 by 18 at the shows. The one at the shows was to stiff i liked the 16 foot one better

  • @gcmsboy1234 Oh cool. I personally love a stiff ring. I can flip better, and everything seems so much more crisp.

  • Have you guys wrestled in a professional ring? The one I wrestle in is 18x18. It's hella fun. xD

  • errrrrrm ,, what is the size of the ring in ft ???

  • Very good job, but you cant jump of the ropes, can you?

  • nice ring

  • @FutureWHC Let me put it like this. It feels better than a real ring. If you build it like i did.But if you just wana have fun and screw around put like 3 layers of carpet. But that would eliminate any bounce the ring had. Dont listen to anyone who says that real rings dont hurt. Because they do.

  • can u put weapons and such under the ring

  • check out my real wrestling ring on my new video.

  • how deep do i make the holes and how long is the 2 by 4 and do u use steel cable for the ropes and how did u get all the tires

  • @cody1800212. Yeah. Well its like this. The padding on a real wrestling ring isnt really padding. Its so hard it hurts to hit your hand on it. The padding i use is real soft and doesnt hurt. A real wresting ring hurts.

  • @cody1800212 No. I have wrestled on a real ring. Loook in my videos if u need proof. Real rings hurt more.

  • I wrestle on rings weekly, and none of them ever hurted me. As long as you know your shit, it's as soft as a cloud !

  • yea arnt rings suppose to hurt and wrestleling is supposed to take paint !

  • Yeah it is supposed to hurt. And this ring doesn't feell like a real wrestling ring at all.

  • you know to give it less stiffness and more of a real ring feel if you didnt put the 2x4 across on that top frame just an outer frame the plywood on top of tires and then screw it down on the outer frame

  • @ps3tna . if we did that the boards would break. Dont say they wouldnt because they did with the 2 by 4's up there. And it doesnt matter about the stiffness. Because either way the real wrestling rings i have been on hurt more than this. Its more about the padding than the spring it has.

  • foes it hurt more than a real 1

  • Thank you for this

  • contest men

  • Those of the second one 00:18 that are?¿?¿

  • That is it of the image I number 3 wood or that xD sorry It is that not very much English alone Spanish

  • this waz good i made it in the summer of 2009.... i have live shows here in indiana i have an entrance ...im wrking on but i used foam instead of carpet....and i waz wondering if u could give me some ideas for an entrance

  • Oh trust me a normal pro ring hurts like that wood ring, all that is under the ring cover is metal poles and wood, a couple layers of cover but the padding doesnt really make it hurt to much less, I took a couple bumps in the ring at a NWA show and the current champion said he liked my look and would train and get me signed but im waiting 2 years so i can muscle up, trying to get 170 of pure muscle. But I love the pain of the bumps cuz im very passionat about my dream of being a wrestler.

  • Hey. I was in training. But i had to quit. But yeah its alot harder than this ring.

  • @gcmsboy1234 you think when i build a ring i could just but tires in the middle instead of all those tires u think it would be enough support??

  • @gcmsboy1234 one more thing were did you buy those eyelits?

  • @jeff55jeff32 nice go for it man

  • rings are supposed to have give and shouldnt hurt badly.

  • is this the normal hardness of a ring?

  • e shu lu lik diss. you nigga

  • this is pretty awesome but i couldnt help but notess that you posts move alot!!

but over all great ring id give it 4 and a half out of five

  • where are the tires for?

  • Dude, all rings hurt

  • that is a cool backyard ring, probably stiff as hell,I have a ring alot like the highspots one, but prior to that i've went through 2 wood rings the 2nd one like one from the dark ages called the barbarian....good times

  • just a tip use padding on your ring and yes it is pricey but its worth it

  • how long did it take to make it?

  • how big is ur ring

  • thats kool but if i put real ropes can i bounce of them because of the wood posts

  • How long are your 2x4's ???

  • omg ur such an idiot, THEY ARE TWO BY FOURS!

  • Hey dumb ass, they come in 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, and 16ft lengths. Omg your such an idiot. ya tool.

  • i was in a real federation just watch the video. And if u think it absorbs the shock as much as u think, your wrong. It hurts like hell. No it wont send u to the docter from hard moves. But it hurts like hell. You dont know what ur talking about. I do. Hey if u want to waste your money go ahead. But some people i know wont be able to take it. Thats according to my ring. And believe me. The ring i built in this is softer than a real one. I know what im talking about

  • Thats a pretty nice replacement if you can't afford to buy a ring from Highspots or somewhere like that. Nice work. Would of added more area into it, but nonetheless a good replacement.

  • real wrestling ring only have the ply wood ive been in a ring and seen one takin down

  • I have too and i had to help set one up and take down almost every friday for 3 or 4 months i know what im talking about bud.

  • actually. Bunji cords wouldnt work. When i wrestled in a real federation they used actual steel cable with hose around it and tape. So yeah. Yeah i should have used metal posts but i didnt. I dont wrestle anymore though

  • that is hillibilly right there.

  • shock

  • did someone had a fight in that ring.a wresling fight

  • how hgh is ur ring

  • how long are te 2 by 4s are they 10 foot or 12?

  • wat kinda rope is dat

  • The bottom of it is very well done, Impressed by that, but would the turnbuckles not become loose over time? It doesn't seem like they have anything to keep them in. I know they screw in but over time, if enough tension is created, it will come out. Just an observation. I'm still rating this video well though. :)

  • and how the hell am i supposed to get 300-400 dollars.... :P

  • earn it.

  • @JFFjustforfun Work!

  • wouldent u need 12 2x4s because u use 8 for the the frame and four for the turn buckels so 8 +4 12
