looks very cool, 3 quick suggestions: 1: have the range from which they engage/can engage significantly increased. 2: have players determine what "modules" they put on their ships e.g. fighter bays, self repair bays, missile turrets, autoturrets etc etc. 3: have the destruction animation last a bit longer, have it break up a bit rather than vanishing in a sudden flash

No this should be like "Supreme Commander", if Supreme Commander would've been more of an actionrts, it's just a realtime rts. Starcraft 1 or 2 are both awesome for esport and actionplay. Supcom should've been more like Starcraft maybe, but not in the way SupCom 2 was. SupCom 2 is just a boring tradeoff really.

@Aeonized Supcom 1 was great. i hated supcom 2 with a passion. WHat I loved about Supcom is that games usually last about 30- 45 mins and if you won or lost, it felt like hours went by. It really was an instant classic
