@Sedruk3 No. I find fighting to be a tedious aspect of both AC1 and AC2. My favorite parts are assassinating the main targets. AC1 had better designed assassinations.
You know what, I never really noticed before now, but you're right. However, there were so many more assassinations in AC2 that I was happier nonetheless. And the main reason why I liked AC2 better is that all non-assassination related activities have been made better and added to, and that really makes the game feel fuller and more alive. AC 1 had me incredibly bored at almost all the time that I was preforming non-assassinating activities.
@Killicon93 In both AC1 and AC2, you can stealth assassinate about two thirds of the main targets. By my count it's 7 out of 11 in AC1, and 16 out of 24 in AC2 (including both DLC's but not Rodrigo Borgia). The other targets either fight or flee straight from the cutscene.
Great video stabguy you never cease to impress, glad to see you're still making ACII videos. There are two more ways that you can kill Dante during the mask stealing mission. After you steal the mask you could just poison him before he detects you and he'll die, or use any weapon on him after you steal the mask but before he detects you to successfully one hit kill him. Doing one or the other before automatically desyncs unfortunately so you can't loot him for the mask.
@KaiyuiKurosaki EDIT: Without stealing the mask and doing one or the other types of kills results in desynchronization otherwise there is no penalization.

@TheMrWoodpecker Besides AC2 I also play AC1. :-)
I play/record on an Xbox 360. My opinion of AC1: greatest video game of all time. I actually prefer it over AC2.

@stabguy36
Did you like AC1 more because the guards were more vigilant and did more damage to you?

@stabguy36 I liked AC2 more because you could actually adapt allmost all you assassinations with stealth.
If you wanted to go like an assassin you could do it, or if not; kill everything.
