  • @riddick0846 If you eat enough calories from fruit = +3000kcal per day, and eat different varieties of fruit, you don't have to worry about deficiencies, not even in protein. We don't need as much protein(building material) as you may think.

    Besides, this vid showed that you can eat nuts and seeds which have a lot of protein, and not only that, fruitarians do eat vegetables and greens too, but they aren't the main source of calories.

Read and watch everything with your own discernment. Dried fruits are not the same as fresh, raw fruit.

  • Start a day with lemon juice? Screw that, just eat the whole lemons! I've eaten a whole lemon before and it wasn't bad. Word of warning though: lemons are highly acidic, so they're not for those with sensitive teeth.

  • Scientific studies have shown that cooking vegetables a little bit is better than eating it raw. It makes the nutrients more available to us as our bodies can not digest a lot of the cellulose in plants. So I do not believe in the raw food diet but people should incorporate raw fruits and nuts into their diet. Even so I think this diet is way to extreme. Any diet that tells you not to drink water is not one that should be followed by anyone ever.

However, the cooking food is healthy idea is debatable, since no other species in the world cooks its food. Then again, our ability to cook may be what made us king of all life.

  • @s3xnio There is no way I could possibly answer your first question, it dosen't make sense. I have posed a similar alternative to myself, "How do herbivorous animals survive without protein?". There is a very simple answer to this question, herbivores host stomach bacteria that can break down cellulose for them, in layman's terms, herbivores can get protein from plants, humans cannot. As for your second question, lots of things contain carbs not just bread and pasta. Told in under 500 letters .

  • this fruitarian think is just a wee bit silly. I'm a vegetarian who eats primarily vegan but this is too much. Honestly you can eat plenty of vegetables without killing the plant. if you choose to grow your own you can eat: broccoli, cauliflower, and most greens without killing the plant. Pick what you need and leave the rest behind. In the case of broccoli you're eating the unopened flowers anyway. there is no need to kill these types of veggies. Obviously you have to kill a turnip or carrot.

Do some research before putting something down. Educate yourself.   • @moore79, Non-sheep live by results, hence why I eat animal products, hence, I'm a non-sheep. There are plenty of philosophical vegan(raw, fruitarian, LFRV, etc) human sheep. Rare are the few that just live and be in tune with themselves. Most any vegan takes nutritional supplements in order to get the elements that their body can't adequately acquire from their plant food diet(and usually that is still not 'thrivingly adequate' over the long-term to their elderly years).

My body, after experiencing it all, long term, has clearly shown me that the basic four food groups from the Euro perspective work best for me, as with my ancestors for eons. With different people there will be differences with what is best, but the standards rule worldwide because they work best for the most part

    Well, Japan is tied with south korea in the lowest obesity rates, and japan has the longest average life expectency, and they dont follow a fruitarian lifestyle at all, they eat lots of fish, meats, and rice (can fruitarians eat rice? it's a seed), stuff mainly with lots of carbohydrates, yes fruit is good for you, however the person in this video appears to be eating hybrid fruits, which are not as good for you as heirloom fruits and vegetables.

    I suppose they live long because they eat low fat diet, and don't eat processed foods. Fruitarianism and raw veganism is more about eating clean I suppose. If you compare digestion of those Japs to fruitarian, there's a big difference. And fruitarians don't eat only fruits. They do eat fruits that we might think are vegetables such as tomatoes. And they eat vegetables too anyway.

    Main source of calories should be fruit though... And you can thrive with fruits only if you eat enough.

  • @carterfelderva Yeah fruits are like 60-80% water. You notice how you get really full when you are eating watermelon? You are taking in lots of fresh pure water. If you drink more water you could get a condition known as hyponatremia in which the excess water dilutes the sodium, enlarges the cells, ultimately swells the brain and results in death. This happened to a woman who entered the wii contest. She drank tons of water, went home to sleep not feeling good, and never woke up. dont overdue it

If you feel thirsty or you have dark urine then you definitely need to drink some water that has been purified by either distillation or reverse osmosis. But If you are not thirsty and your urine is pretty clear then there isn't really a need to drink anymore.

Distillation or RO are the only effective methods to purify the water. Nano Nickel HCT is the most effective way to purify the air. Here are just some of the contaminants in tap water. Among the worst contaminants are fluoride and chlorine. According to one recent study there are over 2100 known toxins present in tap water. What are you waiting for?

The big companies like the FDA, FTC, etc. can't be trusted since they are mainly interested in making money.

  • I became a raw foodist recently and this is nuts. You can't just live off fruit; it is not healthy. And when she says only eat when you are hungry; one thing about the raw food diet is that you can kind of eat great amounts. I don't like this idea at all. And don't drink? That's not a good idea because Water, my goddess, Water is the best thing for the body. Ever read articles about Raw Water. Grr..this makes me a little made. Don't drink. Pfft.

  • The lighter the diet, the healthier, but that doesnt mean sit around and not exercise, thats anorexia/starvation, when you tell the body to get strong, it does, no matter WHAT you eat. we unfortunately live in a society that has trained us to be desk jockeys not shaolin monks.     Yeah, that isn't correct. Even on a fruitarian diet, it's good to drink water. But with fruitarians, not as much is needed throughout the day because they're already consuming water from the fruit.

  • @adrygarcia Well, it's just always good to drink water. Especially after a work out, or when first waking up. It's the best way to cleanse the system. And some fruits have a lesser water content than others. :)

  • People, I cannot believe how many here don't realize nuts are also fruits. Almonds, walnuts and other nuts are a great source of protein and calcium. There.. problem solved. So you CAN survive on fruits alone. And water of course.

  • @splow07, yes, I agree. A 100% raw high fruit diet is the healthiest way to live, no question, but it has to be approached gradually. The dogma presented in this video will not help anyone reach a goal of all fruit. Instead of making big changes, it's better to replace the unhealthiest foods with raw food recipes and transition gradually to all fruit. I did this 10 yrs ago and have been all fruit for 4 yrs. I've never been healthier in my life, and I'm 53 now.

  • @OgreTwentyFive ..Eating anything is extreme / crazy. We weren't made to digest products. We were made to digest / produce love. The most natural and refined diet is breatharian. The hard part is getting off our toxic beliefs systems and into reality. But beings who have the strenth and motivation to face/ conquer their death programming reign supreme. We are living in the dark ages. But not for long.

  • @OgreTwentyFive Proteins are not conteined in vegetables , contrary they contain ,as you said , minerals and important vitamins and of course fibers.

    The percentage of proteins conteined in the fruits are almost in the same percentage of those conteined in the mother's milk . We have to accept our nature of fruitarian beings. Maybe is not easy having such king of style of life , maybe it could be expensive ...but it's the best way to be !
