Not a great idea being that low over water with a single engine aircraft, engines stops, that aircraft will be destroyed. Being this low over Seawater, does wonders for the Engine and all parts, after a flight like this, you have to wash the hell out of it and even flush the inside of the engine!, you only do this flying for emergency reasons.
If your filming, you don't even have to get this low, the camera zoom does it for you.
@1BustedMyth So are you an "engineer due to poor health" or a helicopter pilot still flying even though you are in poor health? One of your previous posts leaves me scratching my head. YouTubers being what they are are not always so truthful.

@aligerous, Cheers. SAR EMS in 412 was the best time of my life, Ballet is a good word for it, lot of trust and great rewards. Came real close to going Navy air wing. As you know its real physical, shoulder, back gave out, then a few other things, got too old ;).

I'm retired from flight. I'm a Rescue crewman Winch master/ Navigator and Engineer.
Did some Pilot training, haven't finished the Lic.
I think you are being to kind!, most UTubers are completely full of shit, but a conversation often sorts wheat from chaff.
Just love anything that flys, expecially Rotorcraft, like to know how everything works, so started as an Engineer. love the Heavy choppers best.
